  1. Scott F. says:

Kinda makes you wonder though, if Burger King was enough to get him off drugs, you think a KFC could have driven him to sainthood?

On a separate note, you think he’s self-conscious about his height? That’s the only explanation I can come up with for the gigantic high tops in conjunction with the suit.

  2. Syko says:

I dunno, if I were forced to eat Burger King hamburgers, I might have to START doing drugs! I do like their ham and cheese croissants, if they bother to heat them enough to melt the cheese.

  3. poopie says:

    It’s Robert FrankenDowney

THOSE SHOES !! COME ON !!

  4. Kevin says:

I call bullshit on his story. Also call bullshit that he has slept with EVERY costar hes had…sorry Robert Clowney, but you are full of shit….now if he woulda said “everytime i got stoned that big creepy plastic burger king would come outa my closet and chase me around my apartment throwing whopper jr’s with cheese at me,,,totally harshing my mellow” then I woulda said “Ok I can see that”

  5. Jody says:

Those monstrosities have to be for his lifts, but you never know with that one, he has definitely embraced his ‘kookiness’.

That being said, I think he’s a great actor, and needs to stay out of jail, so thank you BK.

  6. Cici says:

did everyone see RDJ’s wife Susan Downey on Denise Richards’ reality show last night?!

  7. Bob says:

In a strange coincidence, I bought some crack last night that was so greasy and disgusting that I have totally decided to give up fast food!

  8. Elle says:

I would think those shoes would turn anyone away from the drugs…

    Man alive.

  9. Jen says:

I don’t care how he beat it — I am so happy he did. I just watched Less Than Zero yesterday, and I was thinking, “Man he’s talented,” and “God this is eerie.” He so easily could have become his character in that movie. He’s one of the most exciting actors to watch on screen. I hope he has a long and successful career. He deserves it.

  10. Kristin says:

I have only had Burger King once or twice in my life. It truly is disgusting.

  11. WTF?!?! says:

I’m with Syko, bacon egg & cheese croissan’wich, IF they actually heat up the cheese (and cook the bacon).

And Bob, you made me spray smoothie out my nose.

  12. vdantev says:

He’d have been safer sucking down the cocaine.

  13. vdantev: glad I’m not the only one thinking the same thing. I was going to ask: am I the only one who sees the sad irony here? I mean, what’s more likely to kill you: cocaine or trans fats? It’s not an easy answer.

  14. Anyone can say anything about the man he has hurt himself more than any snyde remark from you can. He truly is the greatest all around performer and the handsomest man alive. I just feel so great for him and his wife. I pray he makes it all the way this time. No turning back . Only forward. You will all see. And I or any one else who knows talent only has to say his name and there it is all packaged in one gorgeous man. I’ll stop for now. I am just so happy for you Mr. Downey and your family . Congratulations, Ruthie Riddle

  15. Kevin says:

Mrs Downey,,,are you going by the screen name ruthie riddle?

  16. do says:

Such a opportunist. I would like to know how much money he became to make propaganda for Burber King.
This man was arrest for possession of cocaine, heroin and an “unloaded” 357-Caliber Magnum. He had to spend nearly a year in a state prison in Cordoban, California.

Nepotism dominate Hollywood and his father the filmmaker Robert Downey help him in “crimial Hollywood”.

  17. do says:

Criminal Hollywood and their film are for mental retarded. It seems like that USA have the largest comunity of people whose can’t use their brain.
It an absurd that a criminal like Robert Downey Jr. Must go out of prison to make this computer garbage!

  18. geronimo says:

@do – Yeah. Burger King are paying him to say their food’s so bad that it made him give up drugs. That really makes a lot of sense. If anything, he’s on McDs payroll. Not sure what to make of this story.

    And the shoes. WTF?! 😯

  19. Tracy says:

I don’t buy it. Robert Downey was addicted to Cocaine. Anyone that has ever done coke knows that the last thing you want is to eat food not to mention a BK Burger and a soda when you are high.

  20. Lumi says:

He tossed the drugs into the ocean? Great, so they wont harm his body but harm the fish, plants and wildlife instead. What an idiot

  21. Bodhi says:

Man there are alot of stupid comments on this thread.

I don’t care how or why he kicked, I’m just glad he did

  22. brit says:

never ever by burger king or any other fast food in Manhattan!

in Staten Island, the Midwest, and PA bk is really fresh and tasty if you get it at the right time like when its just been made and it’s all pipin’ hot…..
