Ha! Johnny Depp and Angelina Jolie are in Germany today for a photo call for The Tourist. Fresh off their dual lead actor Golden Globe nominations!! All of you people bitching about it – La Jolie laughs at you. Also – this the first time we have access to photos of Johnny and Angelina standing NEXT to each other. They did so very briefly at the NYC premiere of The Tourist, but hardly anyone got photos of it. So this is nice, seeing their body language. Maybe some studio exec was all “This movie is bombing, we need to sex it up! Johnny, why don’t you touch her during a photo call?” Anything, please, I’ll take it. What’s interesting is that their body language isn’t reading “sexy” – they just seem to be comfortable with each other, and to like each other as friendly acquaintances – which is pretty much their chemistry in The Tourist.
I like Angelina’s hair for the photo call too – do you think she flat-ironed it?
One last thing – The Tourist’s director Florian Henckel von Donnersmarck is a giant. Just FYI.

When I first saw the promos it looked like they had no chemistry together and there is no doubt in mind that they do not have chemistry/get along. I don’t know them so I can’t say that with certainity but lord I know plenty of people I’d rather not be in a photo with (& vise versa) and we all have that same look!

Regardless of talent brangelina is a big awards show draw, so it’s no surprise she’s nominated for that stupid looking movie. I don’t think anyone (besides narcissistic actors) takes even an oscar seriously anymore. I mean Beyoncé was nominated for the same GG award as Jolie, they just hand those things out to anybody.

Finally!!! Angelina’s hair finally looks polished. Her dress fits beautifully, this is definitely good silhouette for her. Johnny Depp is my favorite actor, but him not trying with dress makes it look like he is trying to hard. Maybe his style reflects the style he wears in France???

1- in the homepage’s thumbnail of this thread Angelina J. looks a lot like Silvio Merdusconi’s former wife, Veronica Lario. It’s disturbing.
2- I didn’t realize how tall FHvD is, it’s disturbing.
3- I’m not a body language expert by any means, but JD looks uncomfortable, it’s disturbing.
4- AJ can laugh her ass off for being nominated but that doesn’t change the fact that she’s a mediocre actress and that the GGs don’t award the acting/directing skills but just studio’s banking. It’s disturbing.

She looks perfect. Even the shoes. She often wears beige shoes, which I think look horrible next to pale skin.
As far as people commenting on whether she can act, whether she’s successful, considering pictures that haven’t been a success, I think she’s pretty much permanent A list and even if a few pictures bomb, she’ll still be A list so long as the public has a strong reaction to her. I just finished reading a bio on Paul Newman and Hotchner’s memoir on their friendship. Newman made some pictures that were turkeys and some that bombed. But once he achieved a high level of fame, it didn’t matter what he did. If he wanted something done, it was done. If he showed up someplace, even over age 60, it was a near riot. I think AJ and Brangelina have achieved a similar iconic status, whether you love or hate them, and people always want to know more. That translates into her being able to act in the films that she is interested in, them producing others, etc. And I think it translates into awards as well.
One more thing. I think the second photo shows some chemistry between Depp and Jolie. I think they have a good relationship, but I don’t think Depp likes being the performing dog.

I had this very same thought when I saw a picture of them on the NYC’s red carpet. It reminded me of that (in)famous picture of hers and Brad taken during one of MaMS’s red carpets: they were avoiding and ignoring each other just to prove the tabloids wrong.
It’s safe to say that I’m not loving this kind of suspicion. I love the idea of Johnny being a faithful partner to Vanessa and their kids.

Okay you guys don’t remember the interviews of Depp saying how they purposefully didn’t talk to each other in public when they were doing the tourist. They didn’t cause of tabloid stuff. They are doing the same thing here. From the fact their families spent time together and talked about cracking up with each other on set…I think they are just fine with each other. I think they just want the focus to be on the work and not some tabloid crap. Think about it worked cause barely any tabloid stuff came out of them shooting The Tourist.

@Raven you are so right I am currently reading Furious Love and Liz Taylor mostly had failures, was considered an iconic screen beauty with maybe 10 pictures out of 80 that where actually critically acclaimed. As a loon I can freely admit that the nomination wasn’t deserved and was more for ratings and politics. The race in this category is soley between Julianne Moore and Annette Benning.
I hope that Angelina finds that role that will quiet the haters though because the lady can act.

Yikes it has to be embarrassing to plow thru these premiers with a film that bombed that bad. Even though the GG are the known trash heap of awards, that has to be embarrassing too. Especially considering SCOTT PILGRIM wasn’t nominated! That’s a pretty hard mistake to make even for them no?
Love Angelina: The very fact that you have to make it clear that you’ve never “terrorized anyone or made anyone feel unsafe” as a result of your obsession is really disturbing. And I won’t even get into how truly unfortunate it is that your emotional barometer seems to hinge on whether or not Angie’s movie tanked, and the resulting negative attention she received in the press (via critics) and on the gossip blogs.
You’re right about one thing, though: A lot of us don’t get you. Because to us, celebs are just a fun, totally insignificant pastime in our otherwise busy lives. So when one of our favorite movie stars makes a shitty movie, it doesn’t send us into a spiral of doom and gloom. In fact, we don’t even notice, because it has absolutely NOTHING to do with what’s REAL and important in our lives.

Two incredibly over-rated actors, neither deserved a nomination today but we all know that. Jolie looks like a wax mannequin in these pics, not a good look…only the loonies are gonna coo over this.

In my previous comment I did not state the definition of a stalker, I pointed out a reason why some commentators may be tempted to call you these things. It would also occur less often, I am sure, if you stopped being so personally offended by the comments of others who disagree with you on totally mundane topics, such as the career and life of Angelina Jolie.

One’s deep emotions should not hinge on what light the world perceives Angelina on a given day, far more interesting things to invest your emotions on. Angelina would tell you this herself if she knew you existed.
Now if you’re an adolescent still, this may be somewhat normal, albeit a bit unhealthy and you’ll mature out of this phase soon I hope.

But, LA, small piece of advice, objective you are not, so maybe ease up on telling people they wouldn’t know great acting if it hit them over the head, where AJ’s concerned. I love your posts! You are just a fan of Angelina. There is plenty to admire about Angelina, personal or career-wise.

Angelina has now over 12 nominations to speak of and is an international beauty/movie icon. And she is only 35! Wow! What a career! Such an accomplished, beautiful woman.
I was also surprised by the GG nominations but am glad that she and Johnny are getting recognized for their work. Yeah!
Wherever there exist haters for Angelina, Aniston’s name is sure to come up because she is the President, CFO and CEO of the whole triangle! It was Aniston’s choice to repeatedly air her personal feelings to the public about Angelina and her family, not once but on several occasions. That, and her allowance of her “friends” like Chelsea Handler, Laura Dern, and Courtney Cox, just to name a few, to weigh in on “the triangle.” It was her choice and subsequently her fault.
Notice how the tabs cannot get a direct quote or any negative junk from any interview on how Angelina feels about Aniston. All reported tabloid information never comes from a direct quote.
Two years ago, in response to Aniston’s Vogue 2008 remark that Angelina was “uncool,” Brad told the world that his marriage to Aniston was a deadend, that his falling in love with Angelina derived from working with her on “Mr. and Mrs. Smith” and that it only felt “natural” to move forward and start a family once he began a relationship with Angelina. Brad made a choice to start a family with someone else, and Aniston made the choice to be the bitter ex-wife.

Seriously, you can’t differentiate between “hating” on a poster who loves a celebrity, and “hating” on that particular celebrity? Also, wyou cant tell the difference between someone offering a negative opinion on a topic and someone simpling being a “hater?” “Haters” as a word, makes no sense. EVERYONE hates something, you sound like a 14 year old with no education when you go around talking about “HA’ERS!!!”

Can someone point me to where Love Angelina has actually verbally attacked anyone for having a dissenting opinion? Sure she says silly shit sometimes, but on a scale of 1-10 for all out attacks that have been on this site, she barely hits a 1, and I read pretty much every comment posted on Jolie threads because they are so funny.
Love Angelina has posted her age before, and she is in her young twenties, but all in all, her happy go-lucky attitude and fandom is endearing and sweet. I’m glad to have her here in the loonie bin with us than over in the Twihard Castle of all things that Sparkle.

@Samsam. Agreed! I haven’t seen Love Angelina attack anyone? So many of the non-Angie fans have called LoveAngelina crazy, psycho, stalker, etc. Serious over the top attacks. I think the people hating on her are WAY WORSE. I’d rather be a lover than a hater. Love Angelina seems fairly positive and upbeat, while her detractors seem to be much more bitter and mean.
I think the “hater” word is a sign if immaturity as well. So is the whole triangle thing. Does anyone know of a woman who was happy her husband left her for another woman? Get over it and give the woman a break!

It is upsetting to find that a spouse has chosen to go in a different direction in life that does not include you. My sympathy for Aniston ran out when Brad made it clear he moved on YEARS AGO.
What is childish and NOT OK is to invite outsiders, i.e., your friends, public opinion, tabloids, Stuvane Huvane your PR agent, to come in and play judge/jury against your ex-husband and his new family. This six year sentence has been nothing less than an act of revenge from Aniston.
I use the word triangle to keep my typing to a minimum. So much for that!
It should be a twosome, Brad and Angie. However, Aniston has made it clear through her personal relationships and discussions with the media and NOT by her passion for acting/directing/producing, what her true character is. Again, this is all done by choice.
At the end of the day, Aniston can stew in her disgust for Angelina as long as she wants to because it is her prerogative. It appears that she intends to go to her grave behaving like this.
Most women, and men, have gone through a breakup where it ended too soon or we lost to another suitor. Aniston’s reaction to her divorce is normal. Her continuous reaction to her ex-husband’s new love and family life is a little unique.
People enjoy hearing about love stories and the “Brangelina” have the components for a modern-day fairy tale. They are followed everywhere all over the world.
Brad and Aniston, the “Golden Couple,” were never followed like this. Furthermore, Aniston’s disgust is further deepened since Angelina has a lot of “loonie” fans, and has a more successful film career than she does. Add to boot that Angelina and Brad gush all the time about their children and their love for another anytime a microphone is put in front of them.
Aniston would do just fine if she could accept that Brad is actually happy with his life, which includes Angelina as his partner of choice, not stolen. She is simply not there yet.

I have been married for years and no, I am not the other woman. If you really love someone, you will let them go if they want to leave. You want them to be happy, even if it means not being with you. Love has many forms and it changes. You may feel hurt, lonely, sad, humiliated,..but vengeful? No.
Just because you love someone does not mean he/she is promised to you forever. Before I met my husband, I had a love that ended before I was ready. And I most certainly DID NOT behave the way Aniston has.
I trusted that the ending was not meant to hurt me. It seems logical to shift blame on “the other woman” because it tackes the burden off of the persons inside the so-called “committed” relationship.
I have said this before. The other woman is a sympton of the problem and not the problem itself.

@Nicky: That’s one of the most ridiculous comments I’ve ever read on here. Josephina’s comments about Aniston needing to get over her divorce and acting as if she intends to take her resentment to her grave does not make her “the other woman”, it makes her eminently sensible. And before you start calling me “the other woman”, I’ve been where Aniston’s been and I know the pain it causes. Unlike Aniston, though, I chose not to wallow in it and drag all my friends in it with me, but to put it behind me and move on.
As I’ve said before, there is a very thin line between pity and contempt, and Aniston crossed it a long time ago.
Love Angelina can say whatever she wants on here as long as she doesn’t violate CB’s guidelines, and some of you snarky hens need to get a damn life.
