So, apparently EVERYONE is watching The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. I’m not. But my mom wants to gossip with CB about all of the drama that’s going down, and now the RHOBH are getting the RHONJ treatment – meaning tabloid covers and manufactured drama. The stand-out of the Beverly Hills cast seems to be Camille Grammer, the now estranged wife of Kelsey Grammer. Camille got dumped by Kelsey, and viewers of the show are now seeing why… apparently, she’s a monster.
Camille Grammer jumped at the chance to join The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills so she could finally step out from behind the shadow of her husband, Kelsey Grammer. However, she never realized that she would become one of the most hated Housewives yet. In fact, 52% of readers polled picked Camille as the most hated Housewife–beating out Real Housewives villians Danielle Staub and Michaele Salahi.
“I hate Camille and her bitch brigade,” tweeted one show fan. Noted another, “Camille needs to be in a padded cell!”
But who is the real Camille? Before she touched down in Beverly Hills, Camille Donatacci was a “nice, funny” and well liked student at Montclair State College in New Jersey, a former classmate tells Life & Style. But after she met Kelsey on a blind date in 1996, a money-hungry, materialistic side emerged.
“She moved to the West Coast, and no one I know kept in touch with her after that,” says the classmate.
A year later, Camille and Kelsey tied the knot but Camille soon became more committed to the lifestyle than to her husband. The relationship was clearly in trouble when they started filming.
“Camille stopped having sex with Kelsey about a year before they broke up,” an insider tells Life & Style. And Kelsey now fears her next move.
“He pleaded with photographers not to take his picture with his fiancée because his ‘soon-to-be ex-wife’ would see it and go ballistic,” an eyewitness tells Life & Style. “Kelsey claims she shows pictures of the couple to the kids and blames Daddy for the mess.”

I heard she could get $50 million from Kelsey in the divorce. I know Kelsey makes bank from his various tv shows that are now in syndication but is he really worth that much? Maybe they didn’t have a pre-nup? But since Kelseys been married before, I would think a pre-nup would be a requirement.

She was an exotic dancer on Club MTV for four and-a-half years, from 1988 to 1992, and is rumored to have supported herself as a private escort for web operator http://www.VIPescortsofhollywood.com. So not a stripper, just a dancer who probably wore very little clothing on TV and maybe an escort. She went to school in 1993, so yes she was in school in her thirties. She also went to UCLA film school in 1996, on her own merits I am sure. Nothing at all to do with the TV star see was with. But she does have at least some sort of education so that is… something?
What I do find semi-amusing is she always says “Oh, I never drink” and sat there sipping tequila shots like she had no idea how to drink one. Yet she drinks at least once in every show and had those swimming pool martini glass. I have no problem with adults drinking, almost all the housewives seem to enjoy their wine but, don’t be a hypocrite and look down on people who do. Although to be fair the producers probably encourage it, in every city it seems a glass of wine is required for lunch (a bottle a piece for Kim and NeNe). Plus, she probably didn’t drink around Kelsey that often. She did stand by him during a really rocky patch, even if she overstates her role.
I watched Medium and was very disappointed by the real Allison. She was nothing like how she is portrayed on the show. She was really horrible. You know how some girls like to have ugly friends around so they look better by comparison. My theory is Allison is around because it makes her look nicer by comparison. All her other friends just kiss up so her “generosity” doesn’t stop.
Also, Miss ” Oh, you were in Playboy”, who looked down on Kyle’s friend has been in Playboy 15 times and been naked in four different movies. Maybe she is jealous she never made the cover.
But you need a bitch on shows like these because as Kim said “Where would the fun be?” She is compelling TV.

This is the first reality show I have ever watched and I’m obsessed! I just happened to stumble upon a marathon on Bravo one day and could NOT stop watching crazy Camille.
I’m convinced Kelsey encouraged her to do the show so we could see he’s not a villain when he finally dumps her.
Tango – He is worth an estimated $100 million. He has produced a number of successful shows with her. He was the highest paid TV actor when Frasier was on. There is no pre-nup, so under California law it is a 50/50 split. She does deserve at least close to a 50/50 split she stood by him him during his substance abuse problem and did play a role in him becoming sober. He would more than likely be just another washed up actor at this point if he hadn’t sobered up. She was with him for a long time and did help with the production company.
She has fertility issues, supposedly. I think people assumed it was to save her body or believed Kyle when she speculated that was the reason. For whatever reason she couldn’t carry a baby to the full term. Is she vain enough for the other possibility to be true? For sure. But it may have been something she really struggled with. She has a lot of faults but I give her the benefit of the doubt on this one. Like other couples that struggle with infertility issues they may have done what they thought was best for them.

The most revealing moment to me was when she took her mother for a manicure. Said mother is suffering from cancer and going through chemotheraphy and after the obligatory ‘how are you doing’, Camille barely waits for an answer before talking about her own cancer scare and her exhaustion. @Lindsay: She chose not to carry her own children because of her Irritable Bowel Syndrome. It’s not that she’s incapable–tons of women with IBS do it all the time. She decided it was too much of a pain in the ass (pardon the pun) so she got a surrogate. But it’s pretty much assumed that it’s really because she didn’t want stretch marks on her bolt-ons. Kelsey himself has credited Camille for his sobriety in many, many interviews. Now he wants to act like that didn’t happen… such bullshit. She did help him build up their fortune and there is no prenup so she stands to get a minimum of $50 million and I hope she nails his ass to the wall. He is a douche (and she is a stone cold c-u-next-Tuesday so one would think they are ideally suited). One would think she would be less insecure, given what she has accomplished. One of my most favorite actors in the world is Kelsey Grammer even with his sobriety issues. So I am guessing that he was stoned when he proposed (or did she propose to him & tell him when he sobered up that he had proposed haha)), high when he didn’t ask for a prenup and totally drunk when he married that ugly, narcissistic fake bitch. I have IBS, had a full term pregnancy in my 30’s and a wonderful child. Yes I have stretch marks but they just remind me of the joy I brought into this world.

Every eposide I got more and more disturbed by her behaviour and why she would think it was at all classy to start fights everytime the women got together. Someone else to start a fight for her, I guess she’s run out of things to say herself.

I’ll admit I’ve never even seen the show but I am enjoying these car-crash recaps on here, and from what I can see, the reason people are calling Camille a villain is because she voluntarily presents herself as a totally manipulative, selfish, self-obsessed, vicious, vindictive, appalling human being. If her behaviour as described on this site is what you regard as “spunky” then good luck to you.
The fact that Kelsey acknowledged how much Camille had gone through, yet still “ran away”, suggests only that he was as appalled and embarrassed by her behaviour as everyone else seems to be.

That means she gets half and child support. He just has to pay up. He knew what the situation was when he married her and cheated on her.
