Jenna Jameson is pregnant

When I think of celebrities that either already are – or have the potential to be – truly terrible mothers, images of Britney Spears, Paris Hilton and Pamela Anderson come into my mind. They’re not just the kind of women you wouldn’t describe as maternal – they’re the kind of women that would accidentally leave their baby next to a steaming hot jacuzzi with a television placed precariously on the edge while they went outside for a smoke.

But Jenna Jameson never even made it onto my mental list, because I never imagined she could even have a baby. I assumed everything was hollowed out down there, but apparently that’s not medically accurate, because according to Page Six, the woman who is arguably the most famous porn star in the world is pregnant.

CONGRATS to Jenna Jameson. The retired porn queen is pregnant with the baby of her boyfriend, UFC champ Tito Ortiz. “She had a bunch of meetings and things planned for Fashion Week, including meetings for her own line, but she’s postponed everything,” said our source. “She’s completely thrilled, this is something she’s wanted for a very long time.” Jameson miscarried during her marriage to Jay Grdina, whom she divorced in 2006. She also once failed with in vitro. Jameson’s assistant didn’t return calls and Ortiz’s rep had no comment.

[From Page Six]

The jokes to be made are so easy – and so filthy – that I won’t make them. I’m really surprised Jenna was able to get pregnant. She’s been looking incredibly emaciated for the last couple years. Frankly she looked like she had anorexia, which she’s denied. She did have a battle with skin cancer, and she placed the blame for her weight loss on that and the stress from her divorce. But whatever the cause, I’m truly shocked that she was able to conceive. Hopefully she’ll lay low and put on some much needed weight.

I want a lot of credit for not making any hysterical jokes. Like this headline on Fark.

Here’s Jenna Jameson and Tony Ortiz at ‘Good Charlotte Good Morning Revival’ at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas on July 5th. Header image from the Pre-Emmy Nominee Party hosted by Darin Brooks on June 13th. Images thanks to WENN.

Eh, good for her I say! Everyone deserves to be happy 🙂

  2. Samantha says:

“Ha ha, your mom was a pornstar”
    “I’ve seen your mom naked”
“My mom told my dad he is never allowed to take me to your house unsupervised.”
“Ive got pictures of your mom under my bed.”

And that is how school will go for her child.

  3. Kristin says:

I am not against porn, I think people should be able to do what they want but I think she is nasty!

  4. Kolby says:

I think she’s an intelligent, by-all-accounts perfectly nice woman who happened to make her name in a career field that is frowned upon by many people in this country. What you do for a living doesn’t dictate what type of parent you’ll be. She obviously has wanted a child for a long time, and I hope she has a healthy pregnancy & baby.

  5. Jen (the other one) says:

    Nicely said, Kolby.

  6. anastasiabeaverhausen says:

I don’t think I’ve ever said this before, I even forgot to say it about Suri Cruise, but um, I really REALLY truly feel sorry for this child. Just…for a lot of reasons.

  7. Samantha says:

Absolutely right. It doesn’t dictate her parenting, but it speaks worlds of what her self worth was. Studies have been done on women in that “field of work” and I doubt she was in the small percentage that didn’t get abused as a child and had a self worth of zero. Hopefully she feels better about herself now, congrats on the baby news.

  8. Hollz says:

good for her- i love her autobiography 🙂 its really entertaining

  9. MissMara says:

“I assumed everything was hollowed out down there” — rofl! 😆

You couldn’t help but make that one, eh JayBird?

  10. Michele says:

I can’t say I’ve seen her work LOL but I know people who know her (we’re from the same town where she visits often and they still see her) and by all accounts she NICE and very sweet too. Her friends are down to earth nice people, not raging party monsters soo..there’s def the real part of her thats nice and just wants to be normal & now I guess a mommy.

  11. geronimo says:

Also on the Kolby train. Well said.

  12. lulu says:

she has struggled with an addiction to meth. maybe that is why she is so thin.

  13. Other Karen says:

    Plastic people can get pregnant?

I’m going to go put my Barbie doll on birth control now.

  14. Kaiser says:

Well, it’s something she’s wanted for a while. Good for her.

  15. Kristin says:

She has wanted a baby for so long so this isn’t surprising. Congrats to her!

  16. paris herpes says:

Anorexic women CAN get pregnant. There seems to be loads of examples of it happening. She needs to gain some weight and keep it, she looked much better with it anyway.

  17. Dizzybenny says:

can someone at celebitchy make a morph of the two to see what the baby might look like?
I’m thinking this thing will be uuuuugly! 😯

  18. mae says:

@samantha: she was gang raped by a football team in her home town when she was a teenager. I saw her story on vh1 or something like that…she said she never reported it because she knew her dad and brother’s would kill the guys and go to jail. So hopefully her kid has a better life than she did, but with how cruel schoolchildren can be, i doubt that too.

  19. Nouvel says:

Pooooooooooor child.. geezzz. all the child’s friends will see his mother not only naked, but giving bj’s, doing anal sex.. how unfair to the child.. she should have really thought about having a child and being a porn star.. geeez poor child

  20. Bodhi says:

    Kolby~ Here here!

  21. j. ferber says:

Celebitchy, I don’t understand your vitriol for these aging blond beauties (Pam Andersen, Jenna Jameson). Yes, I know one was a playmate bombshell and the other was a porn star. But so what? Why is a woman always judged for her sexual virtue/beauty and then scorned (by both men and women) when she’s “past her prime?” I notice you (and many readers) are not so judgmental of male stars who age or even batter partners (some female readers even respond that the male is “hot”)! Excuse me, but yuck. Oh, and you really have no idea what kind of mother Jameson will be. Appearances (and stereotypes) can be deceiving.

  22. vdantev says:

Soon she’ll have a bouncing baby blow-up doll all her own.

  23. sam says:

    21- agreed.

i think women like pam anderson and jenna jameson are beautiful, i think they should be praised for aging and yet maintaining their beauty and sexiness!

  24. mustang says:

Jenna Jameson already has 1 child if I remember correctly, a daughter. Your right though, maybe the pregnancy will put some meat on her bones, she looked better when she was a “working” girl.

  25. daisy424 says:

Sun damaged skin is not sexy and youthful.

  26. K says:

    Well said Kolby!

  27. NHchicky says:

Am I the only one saddened that this baby’s first sip of milk will be from Mommy’s plastic cups? In all seriousness, I heart Jenna. I read her autobiography and it was a really good read. I do wish she’d put on a few more lbs. too.

  28. bros says:

im also sick of people being surprised that extremely thin women cannot get pregnant or that it is a shock when it happens. so much of the world is the same thinness or more as jameson or jolie, or whoever else we deem too skinny to conceive. i am not condoning her body at all: it was a drastic weight loss borne out of unhealthy circumstances, whatever they were, but for pete’s sake, so many women all over the world are so much skinnier and still have all kinds of babies.

  29. bros says:

    make that ‘can get pregnant’

  30. Nan says:

I’m with Shannon, the 1st poster.

  31. yosafbridge says:

“I assumed everything was hollowed out down there”
Your judgemental attitude makes me sad. How many times do we read about the conquests of male celebs and think it’s no big deal. Would you make the comment on par to that if this was a story about Ron Jeremy? I find it weird that in your comment policy you say “we work hard to moderate hate words” and yet you publish them in your story. I read your site because unlike other sites I don’t find you guys mean (a little snarky yes but that’s the fun of it all). I find your language in this article extremely hateful to women.
I usually lurk but had to speak up on this.

  32. czarina says:

ferber: I appreciate the generosity of your response. I admire people who try to see the best in everyone.
I do think, to some degree, these ‘aging beauties’ have contributed to the negative reactions they sometimes provoke, because, let’s be honest, they used their beauty (and very little else) to gain fame and fortune.
Which is not a crime, by any means, but there is a price to be paid when the beauty fades (and I think it is a bad role model for young girls who might believe that looks are more important than substance).
But I hope, if the news is true, that Ms. Jameson has an easy pregnancy and a healthy baby.

  33. Christina X says:

Good luck to her and stuff.

  34. A.J. says:

Congratulations to Jenna. I’ve read her autobiography three or four times, and while I’m not a big fan of porn, I have to give her props for making something out of herself and keeping it real. I hope she has a healthy baby and wish her lots of luck.

Also, she needs to STOP with the plastic surgery already. Otherwise, love her.

  35. Larissa says:

A.J.- three or four times???????????? was that even necessary? It´s not like it´s Heart of Darkness or Moby Dick, ya know?lol
    Or were ya…? nevermind!

    good for her,
    but poor poor child!
but till the age of 5 I reckon theres nth to worry about!

btw, theres a whole lot of mommies “still” working for the adult industry yet they don´t have that kind of exposure that Jenna had, good for ´em!

the price of “fame and fortune”.

  36. ms adamantia claus says:

    Ok czarina,

You and me squabbled over the Olsen thing, but I agree with you on this one.
I had a friend who was in the porn industry she was one of the nicest people I’ve ever met. But I stopped hanging out with them because there was too much pills, powder and partying at times, it wasnt her as much as her longtime friends. The business just attracts that and alot of networking gets done at informal parties like that.
Well good luck to her but I’ve come to the conclusion that having a baby in Hollywood is this year’s “Chihuahua/Toy Dog under my arm” must have fad. Like having a big ugly ass overpriced purse because some idiot at a fashion mag told you you MUST have it to be cool.
I fear that when the fun and newness wears off and the business is off on its next trend, all of these babies will be trundled off into obscurity under the auspices of Carmen the nanny.
And czarina I dont want you to think that I’m a total jerk but as I said I think I may be a bit older than you and therefore MUCH MORE cynical than you can imagine. Seen too much BS.
But I’m hoping this is real.
    Congrats to her.

  37. lady garden says:

i edit porn films for a living so i find it hard to comment-though i will say there are alot of fucked up girls in this business but even though i don’t get what they do, none of us can judge as some of them do not feel they have any choices

  38. fee says:

I know how embarassed my friend was when we saw photos of her mum topless in the 70s, in her hippy phase, and we bagged her out relentlessly about it……I could not imagine seeing my mum or anyone elses doing hardcore porn! That makes for some serious therapy issues right there!

  39. just me says:

I hope she lays off the drugs at least while she’s pregnant.

    Good luck.

  40. czarina says:

ms adamantia claus: Actually, I think we’re about the same age (OK, I’ll fess up and admit to being 37!), although you might be more cynical than I am.
I can be very judgmental and it’s something I’m making a conscious effort to stop, because sometimes the cynical response is just too easy.
But I respect where you are coming from. I doubt the porn industry produces a lot of wide-eyed innocents (if there is any movie that really made me angry, it was “Pretty Woman”, which, in my mind, made being a prostitute seem like a lark!)
But I always want to believe (hey, like Mulder!) that there is good in people and would never want to suggest a person cannot have a second chance.

  41. A.J. says:

Larissa: I found her book very entertaining; it’s one that you can’t help but read over and over and get drawn into. She’s got a great sense of humor and even manages to take the piss out of herself several times, and some of the stories she tells in it are unbelievable. If you haven’t read it, I definitely recommend it.

  42. Christina X says:

I feel sympathetic for a lot of adult film stars, because it appears to be that a majority of them lived not so great lives.

  43. HoHo says:

    That poor kid.

  44. ElGuappa says:

I’ve never read her autobiography though I have seen a documentary in which she and her then-husband expressed their desire to have children…It is an absolute blessing and gift to bring a child into the world. A blessing and gift that deserves a whole lot of respect and attention. I sincerely hope that her and Tito can pony up and give this child the amazing life it deserves. Carrying a child to term, giving birth and raising a child is challenging in myriad ways…When you add being a retired porn star and struggling with weight/image/health issues, plus whatever psychological baggage accumulated as a result, things get very precarious.I truly wish them the courage and wisdom to do it right despite the odds.
