Young Hollywood supercouple Ryan Reynolds and Scarlett Johansson have been keeping a pretty low profile lately. A few months ago there were rumors that the absurdly gorgeous duo were on the rocks due to Ryan’s insecurities and jealousy, but they seem to have patched things up. Now, the latest buzz is that their engagement will culminate in a wedding this winter, once the presidential election is over.
The couple, engaged since May, plan to tie the knot this winter, after Scarlett’s 24th birthday, a source tells Star.
Before some 200 guests, including celebrity friends such as Natalie Portman, Woody Allen and Sandra Bullock, Scarlett and the 31-year-old Canadian will wed in a traditional Jewish ceremony in New York City. Helping the couple pull it all together is Scarlett’s mom/manager, Melanie Sloan.
Why wait? After all, Ryan has been eager to marry Scarlett for some time. According to the source, “they’re taking it slow because her twin brother, Hunter, is busy working on Barack Obama’s campaign. Scarlett, who also supports the presidential hopeful, wants to hold off until the election is over because Hunter is so busy.”

As always, I caution that anything in Star is to be taken lightly. I guess time will tell if this story is true. I have to admit that this couple is growing on me. At first, I was still rooting for Ryan to get back with his ex, Alanis Morissette, but if Alanis is over it, then I suppose it’s time for me to move on as well. Scarlett may not be the best actress, but she does seem intelligent and fun to be around. Maybe these two will become the next Reese Witherspoon/Ryan Philippe- without the unhappy ending.

I remember when I saw Amityville Horror (the remake) after Ryan’s shirtless scene I forgot it was even a scary movie. It was just….yum.
I used to watch a very cheesy sitcom with him on it… just to watch him. He’s adorable – I hope they work out.

I would advise any criticizers to deal with big jugs for years. The better your posture, the better you feel – in general.
I love Ryan Reynolds and I love Scarlett, but I don’t love ’em together. There’s something a bit off about them in my humble opinion. I think he would have been much happier, in the long run, marrying Alanis. I’m really not sure this is gonna hold.
And lord alive, what is going on with her boobs? Does she have some kind of reversed gravity device in her hair or lips that make ’em float up like that? In that case, I think the only right thing for Scarlett to do (who doesn’t need it as it is) is share the secret with her sisters.
