This is the most bizarre story of the day. Apparently, ‘80s mall-girl/singing-sensation Tiffany was invited on Bravo’s Watch What Happens: Live with Andy Cohen, and during the course of the alcohol-soaked interview, Tiffany outed her ex-boyfriend, New Kids on the Block’s Jonathan Knight. Seriously! He’s gay, allegedly, although Tiffany claims she didn’t have anything to do with it (???) and that he only “became gay later”… AFTER they dated. Um…sure. The best part? Tiffany recalls what it was like to date Jonathan, and talks about how they used to do facials together. Oh, God.
Rumors have surfaced in the past regarding ‘New Kids on the Block member’ Jonathan Knight’s sexuality, but the pop performer has never admitted to being gay.
However, ’80s teen queen Tiffany told millions of TV viewers last Thursday that Knight indeed is gay.
Tiffany appeared on Bravo’s ‘Watch What Happens: Live,’ alongside Debbie Gibson, to discuss the singers’ role in the upcoming Syfy original movie, ‘Mega Python vs. Gatoroid,’ premiering Jan. 29.
During their sitdown, host Andy Cohen asked Tiffany if she had cozied up with any of the NKOTB boys back in her days as a touring mall songstress. Her response: Jonathan Knight.
“The quiet one, the shy one,” Tiffany admitted. “[Jonathan Knight] became gay later. I didn’t do it. I had issues with that. I was thinking maybe I did. Now looking back when we were dating he was so much fun. We used to do facials together. He was so easy to talk to.”
No statement from Knight has been released yet regarding Tiffany’s controversial remarks.

Obviously, they were both very young when they dated, and maybe Jonathan didn’t really “know” he was gay until he got a bit older, but I don’t think it’s cool for Tiffany to A) Drunkenly out him on live television and B) talk about how he only “became” gay after they dated. I’m not saying it’s her “fault” – it’s no one’s “fault”, he’s just gay.
But maybe she should have had an inkling when they were giving each other facials. I’m just sayin’.

When I was watching Watch What Happens Live, I kept thinking “oh lord, something is going to come out of her mouth”.
Sure enough she had to open her drunken trap and out someone. I guess it was for attention or was said just because Andy is gay.

This story is much ado about nothing. First, I don’t think Tiffany was drinking. Secondly, Johnathan has been out for a long time— at least as long as Lance Bass. Jordan Knight is married with several children and was never gay. I think Johnathan has already done a bunch of press (well as much as a washed up boy bander can do) about his sexuality. It is really old news. Tiffany didn’t out him in any way.

Yes, this was a bitch move on Tiffany’s part; however, Johnathan was already living openly well before this. I don’t believe Tiffany technically outed him. Just because he didn’t do a Bass-esque People cover stating the obvious, doesn’t mean he was closeted. He’s spoken in the past about his partner (don’t know if they’re still together) and one of his former boyfriends went to the press a couple years ago.

Having watched the show, it looked like a mistake to me. She hasn’t dealt with the press on a regular basis in almost 20 years. I don’t think she divorced her actual, conversational life from live, internationl tv when chilling with Andy and Debbie. Give her a break. It looked like a simple slip of the tongue to me. And I highly doubt Jordan was in contention for the next blockbuster project and this one conversation will knock him off the list.

@Bodhi & Kaiser: He’s quite out in LA from what I understand (close gay friend is in the “scene” out there and loves to gossip). Zachary spends some time out in WeHo and when the press asks if he’s gay he usually just tries to talk about the bigger picture, such as equal rights.
NPH was very much the same way. Out, comfortable and didn’t feel the need to talk to the press until a tabloid was going to do a negative story regarding his partner, I believe.

In any case, people like Zachary, Jonathan Knight and Queen Latifah are not living a lie – they just feel they don’t have to do press about it. So Tiffany wasn’t really outing Jon but she’s still a bitch for talking about somebody else’s sexuality on national TV.

Honestly, I have no idea. (Unless said man is bisexual, instead of just gay.) I guess one possibility could be they use some method to become aroused (maybe magazines, porn, or one of those supplements for inability to ‘perform’)… or maybe simply thinking about someone else during the act allows them to get through it.
But those are *entirely* just guesses on my part.

Okay! Jon was not outed by Tiffany because he was already out — has been since early 2009, when his ex-boyfriend, Kyle Wilker came out about their relationship and he confirmed his sexuality. Also, Tiffany and Jon have tweeted to one another about her ‘outing’, and Jonathan told her not to lose sleep about it, that he was only mad that he had forgotten about getting facials. Also, hilariously, Tiffany is a huge advocate for gay rights and has performed at Gay Pride for free. I saw her myself there, in Baltimore, and she was awesome. What she said is fine, she meant no harm. Love this bitch.
And dear lord! To the poster above: Jordan is NOT gay!!!! Where are you getting your info? He only supports the idea that homosexual members of bands should feel more comfortable being out which caused much speculation on his own sexuality. It was later confirmed, obviously, that this was merely to do with his brother’s experience.

As far as the whole having sex with a woman if you’re gay. I’m no expert for sure, but I do have gay friends, and I had a gay cousin who was married and had a child. Believe me, there was NO DOUBT he was gay, and yet he managed to “fool” his wife for years, plus he got it up to impregnante her or whatever. My understanding is, even if you are gay, you can still perform with a woman. ( I am not stating this is true for all gays!!!!!!! This is just what I have been told)
