Dancing with the Stars cast includes Kim Kardashian, Lance Bass, Brooke Burke

Super hot supermom Brooke Burke, injured reality star Kim Kardashian, soap queen Susan Lucci, and singer Toni Braxton are among the cast named for the next season of Dancing With The Stars. Unfortunately older beefcake Tom Selleck was not on the list, as we mentioned earlier today. Kardashian’s spot was thought to be in jeopardy after she cut her foot on a hotel room mirror late last night, but it looks like her injuries should heal in time for her to compete. An earlier story we covered had her cutting her foot on the coffee table, but it looks like it was a mirror instead. How did that happen? Mirrors are usually on the wall.

TV reality star Kim Kardashian revealed she cut her foot last night on a broken mirror in her hotel room, but still said, “I will be able to dance.”

DWTS host Tom Bergeron questioned if Kim had cut her foot to gain the sympathy vote, which she denied, then jokingly accused soap legend Susan Lucci of trying to take the big-bottomed reality star out before the show even began.

Here the celebrities who will take the dance floor:

Lance Bass, Singer

Rocco DiSpirito, Chef

Misty May-Treanor, Olympic beach volleyball player

Maurice Greene, Olympic sprinter

Toni Braxton, Grammy-winning singer

Kim Kardashian, Reality TV star

Cody Linley, Hannah Montana co-star

Cloris Leachman, Oscar-winning actress

Ted McGinley, Actor

Brooke Burke, Actress

Jeffrey Ross, Stand-up comedian

Warren Sapp, Super Bowl champion

Susan Lucci, Soap Star

I like Brooke Burke and am glad to see her on the roster. She’s got four kids and is always popping back into shape to look fabulous in record time. There are a few people I’ve never heard of though, like Cody Linley, Jeffrey Ross, and Warren Sapp. Isn’t Ted McGinley the guy who dooms every show he comes on to failure? They have a whole category for him on Jump The Shark, and call him “the patron saint of shark jumping.” Guess this show is about to bite it, too. We’ll always have memories of Kim Kardashian’s best feature in tiny outfits.

Warren Sapp is one of the few “unknown’s” I know – he was an NFL defensive player for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (American football), then was traded to the Oakland Raiders. I think he’s out of football now though.

Someone help me out – who is Cody Linley and Jeffrey Ross? I get the feeling this is going to be a boring season.

  2. Jill says:

Cody Linley plays Hannah Montana’s also famous boyfriend/friend. I have 4 kids so I am subjected to this kind of torture. I’m pretty sure Jeffrey Ross is a comedien that is on Best of on VH1 sometimes. I can’t picture him dancing though.

  3. Roma says:

Oh, mirrors are occasionally on the floor… though I can see why her people tried to spin it as a coffee table!

  4. Linda says:

Yuk…having Kim Kardashian on this show is as bad as when Heather Mills was on this show – I hope she is the first to go!!!

  5. Kris says:

Do people actually watch this crap?

  6. Maritza says:

I really like this show, and I’ll be watching mostly just to see Susan Lucci and Cloris Leachman. But how dissapointing, I would’ve love to see Tom Selleck there too.

  7. jaybird says:

I love watching the stars, and I don’t really care who they are, but hey, you gotta admit the professionals, both male and female help to make the show even more fun and more interesting. I’m 56 and my 17 year old daughter and I share Monday and Tuesday nights together cheering our favorites on.

  8. Kelly says:

YUCK!!!!!! Kim Kardashian? EEWWWWW shes so effing annoying but i can wait for the show i want the Hough siblings & their partners to make it all the way

  9. Snowblood says:

Um – O.K., who says “yuck” and “eww” about human beings? Snobbish, insecure pre-teens? No offense meant, Kelly and Linda, but good lord, I mean what’s with the childish, mean-girlie yucks and ewws? đŸ˜¯

  10. Jenna says:

    Jeffrey Ross, heck yes!

I might tune in for like five minutes now.

  11. Lily Rose says:

I am looking forward to seeing Misty May and Rocco DiSpirito! Great lineup – I will definitely be watching. I know everyone else thinks he is a douchebag, but I always thought Rocco was cute. I have a thing for Italian men!

    Cloris Leachman is 82! I’m a little worried she’ll break a hip.

  13. Tom Folland says:

There is obviously a lot to know about this. I think you made some good points in Features also.
