Sad news! Undercover couple Ashley Olsen and actor Justin Bartha (National Treasure, The Hangover) have broken up after two years together. Every so often, I would read the odd engagement report for these two in one of the tabloids, but for the most part, Ashley shied away from talking about the relationship. The only comment I could find was that she said she flies to LA every five weeks so she can see Justin… which could be one of the reasons they split, maybe? Long-distance, New York to LA, over two years.
Ashley Olsen is a single lady.
The actress-fashion designer, 24, and her Hangover star beau, Justin Bartha, 32, have parted ways, a source confirms to PEOPLE.
The private couple, who dated for more than two years, shot down engagement rumors shortly after they got together in 2008.

I always forget that Ashley and MK are still so friggin’ young. They’re only 24 years old! How crazy is that? They dress like they’re fifty-something and they’ve been famous since they were babies. Yeah… anyway, my thoughts on long-distance relationships: it takes a particular kind of couple to make it work, and when you’re young (24!) it’s even more difficult. Ashley will bounce back, though. Well I do like the way they handled their relationship. Low key and private. I expect their breakup will be the same way. It’s nice to see stars such as Ashley & Justin, and previously, Mila Kunis and Macaulay Culkin, handle their private romantic relationships with class.
My daughters watch Full House every morning. Ashley looks really pretty there. Usually she and MK look so sad and waifish

The Olsen twins are a paradox. They simultaneously look like they’re five years old, and five hundred years old at the same time.
They creep me out. I can imagine having a nightmare where I wake up and they’re at my window…just staring at me with their bizarre, little faces.

and yes, young+long distance is so very hard to maintain! i was always okay with long distance relationships but the guys i was dating at the time [or my many friends who also attempted long distance] just couldnt handle it! too much temptation, too many hormones! 🙂

That was harsh… I have to disagree there. They are 24 and they look like they’re 24 and they seem to be mature. The fact that we remember their faces when they were 5 doesn’t mean they’ll be 5 forever. Lindsay’s been famous since she’s a young girl too, but we have to see her jacked current face everyday so we kinda forgot how she looked like when she was 5.
It’s sad that they broke up? It means I can have him! You just made my day.

What bugs me most about the Olsen Twins is that they’re practically addicted to fur… They’re young & reasonably attractive, but they dress like 80 year old homeless hags. (Who used roadkill to create a shawl). >.< I know that sounds harsh, but it bugs the hell out of me.
