I know, ANOTHER Blake Lively post, the second one of the day. In my defense, Blake is going to be everywhere the next few days/weeks, because she’s promoting her part in The Green Lantern. You could argue that she’s been promoting The Green Lantern while she’s getting pap’d in Verona with Leonardo DiCaprio, but I’m not going to start. You could also make the point that Blake is – reportedly – barely in The Green Lantern, and basically non-existent in the trailers, so why does she need to be all over the place for the promotion? You’re missing the point! Blake is big news. Not “Blake the movie star” but “Blake, Fashion Girl and the girlfriend of Leonardo DiCaprio, and Blake of the naughty photos.” That Blake is happening. That Blake is going to continue to be everywhere.
Anyway, Blake is seen here, doing the morning show rounds, wearing this turquoise/cerulean Tibi dress. I love the color, hate the design. It feels like a little girl’s party dress to me, especially with that flounce of the skirt… that makes her look pregnant (watch the video below). I would like to see it with a fitted pencil skirt, then maybe I would love it.
By the way, Blake was on Today this morning. When asked about her booby photos, Blake said, “You know getting into this business what comes with it… You do it for the art, for the wonderful work we get to do. Otherwise, you keep your head down, you keep to yourself. I have such a great family and friends that they’re my support system.” Here’s the video… um, I think she’s cute here. She’s not acting in a porno, they are private photos not meant for publication. Her stupid publicist made this the biggest story of the summer by using the word fake, adding longevity to the story and incredulity to her client. Now people who may not have been interested can feel legitimate in searching for them to investigate for themselves and websites and blogs can feel justified in publishing them in their journalistic pursuit of the truth, ha! It has also given the ‘leaker’ the upperhand as they can post just about any pornographic or suggestive photo without a head, next to a legitimate photo and say it is her. (I personally don’t believe half the 2nd set of photos are her). I think the ‘leaker’ is daring the publicist to make another false statement. However she can’t say half the photos are real, half not, I lied/panicked before or that will just make her look a fool and surely lose her clients. (her previous clients include Lindsey Lohan and Britney.) The ‘leaker’ timed the story for maximum exposure – the Us magazine story leading up to the MTV awards this Sunday. The photos it seems were taken some time ago, so they have sat on them for many months presumably waiting for the perfect moment for us to eat it up, to cause the maximum damage to Blake’s relationship, image and career, though i hope that isn’t the case. That is cold and this was a premeditated assault.

Does she have fake boobs? Yes. Are they tasteful and go with her body? I think so. And even if she had a small nose job, again, it was done tastefully. Honestly, if I had the money, I would make a few tweeks. Just small things that I wish I could change. She had the money and the resources to go to a really good plastic surgeon and fix a few things that she wanted to. I’m not going to judge her for that.

Interesting how her lying has been swept under the rug by the press, it’s obvious those photos are her since in one photo you can see the one side of her face and in another that shows her naked body from above the waist, a full view but her dishonesty is being overlooked. This scandel has made me feel bad for Disney stars who have been in a similar scandal. Like Miley Cyrus and Vanessa Hudgens, Blake has a lot of teenage fans yet her the reaction to her scandal is not as severe as Miley’s various photo scandals and Vanessa’s nude ones and unlike Blake, Vanessa was honest about it being her in the photos when the first set was leaked. Even Taylor Momsen received bigger backlash for smoking and her skanky outfits than Blake has.
