All too often, I only concentrate on Kirstie Alley’s delusions. I should stop for a moment and acknowledge some of the positive. Even though she’s not really a size eight, or a size six, or a size four, Kirstie looks pretty good. She’s 60 years old, and she could easily pass for a woman in her 40s. By the way, that’s what some weight does to many women – it makes you look younger! That’s why Hollywood women starve themselves into oblivion and then get “fillers” in their face, it’s because a fuller face looks younger.

Anyway, here’s something else I have to compliment Kirstie on: her boobs still look great! Look at her boobs in this purple dress, which Kirstie wore to appear on The Late Show with David Letterman. Are those the boobs of a 60 year old woman? Did she get them “done”? I don’t know. Last week, Star Magazine had a piece about Kirstie wanting to get some stuff nipped and tucked, but her rep tells Rumor Fix that Star is full of it:

Kirstie Alley has lost 90 pounds at a rapid fire pace making some gossip magazines wonder if she’s got saggy skin and if plastic surgery is next.

In fact, Star claims she’s got “droopy flesh on her upper arms, saggy jowls and dimpled thighs.”

The magazine goes on to claim, “She definitely wants to get the creases on her face filled in and she’d like to get some of the saggy skin around her midsection tightened up and take care of her jiggly thighs and upper arms.”

Kirstie’s rep tells RumorFix, “She is totally fine the way she is.”

He says the plastic surgery rumors started a year ago after the Dancing with the Stars finalist appeared on Rachel Ray joking about doing plastic surgery on each other. “And now the tabloids use that as a quote that Kirstie considers plastic surgery, but she was joking with Rachel Ray. She’s like, ‘I wouldn’t want a facelift, I’d only want a quarter inch facelift,” but come on, she was completely joking and it was really funny.”

The rep does give the tabloids credit for creativity.

Yeah, I think somewhere deep inside, Kirstie knows that her yo-yo dieting and weight problems haven’t ended, so why get a bunch of plastic surgery when six months from now, she’s going to be back to her old “size 10”? Ha. I think she looks like she’s putting on some weight (not much), and I do applaud her for doing so well for so many months. I thought it was going to be a catastrophe for Kirstie just as soon as Dancing With the Stars ended, but she seems to still be working some kind of weight loss program and she’s doing a half-decent job.
