This should be evidence enough that:

A) It’s really, really slow today for gossip, and I blame both Linnocent and Moammar Gaddafi.

B) It was either this or a story about Paris Hilton.

C) Mena Suvari’s hair is bad enough that I’ve withdrawn my embargo on writing about people I barely care about.

D) I have very strong, negative opinions about busted wiglets and bangs trauma.

So these are photos of Mena Suvari at two different events this week. The pics where she’s in a sleeveless black dress are from last night’s Breast Cancer charity dinner, and the ones where she’s wearing the black dress with cap-sleeves are from a David Yurman event a few nights ago. Mena is debuting her new hairstyle, only no one really paid attention. Except for me, I guess.

Is it just me, or does it really and truly look like a wig? I’m not entirely convinced that Mena DID cut her hair. I think she just felt like having some temporary bangs trauma, just to see what it was like (devastating!). This is just the wrong cut to frame her face. Everything is too blunt, she needs some “softness” to make her face look less drag-queeny.

By the way, Mena signed on to the fourth (fifth?) American Pie film, American Reunion. Here’s the Red Band trailer, which doesn’t feature her at all.
