These are photos of Jessica Biel from last night, where she did The Late Show with David Letterman in the white dress, and then the NYC premiere of New Year’s Eve in the beaded dress. The white dress is Victoria Beckham, and it looks really great on Jessica… except for whatever is happening at the waist. It looks like it should be taken in at the waist a bit – there’s some weird fabric issue happening there. Jessica’s premiere dress was Valentino and… I don’t really care for it. I’m kind of over actresses with supporting parts in films wearing full-on gowns to the premieres. It reeks of overkill. This Valentino might have been interesting on an awards show red carpet, except Jessica isn’t getting nominated for anything so she just over-dresses for premieres of dumb rom-coms.
But I don’t dislike everything Jessica is doing – her hair looks so, so good. I love the slightly darker brunette she’s been working lately. I also love her makeup – she’s got good makeup people for the most part. I also kind of like that Justin Timberlake didn’t show up at the premiere – even though they’re back on, I like that Justin consistently refuses to show up for any of Jessica’s projects. That’s their “thing.”
Have you ever noticed how much Jessica kind of looks like Sofia Vergara? I just noticed that in some of these photos.

She looks really beautiful in the fourth picture (still think she went a little too far with her nose job though). And I can’t believe I’m going to say this, but I agree with you Kaiser…the Victoria Beckham dress was a much better choice.

GAH!! That beaded garment is a monstrosity! I’ve said it before & I’ll say it again — these so-called designers are really scraping the bottom of the barrel for ideas the last few years.
She looks radiant in the white VB. Dress, makeup, hair, everything – except those hideous shoes. The beaded Valentino is terrible. Matronly. Her makeup still looks good in the Valentino though. Whatever is going on with her, something is working. Nice to see at least a touch of color on her lips. That lighter-than-nude shade she used to wear was terrible.

The white dress is really pretty but the pockets in the front are unnecessary and give it a little bit of a weird look.
Duck lips looks amazing in the white dress, but WTF is up with that other dress.

She looks so pretty. Besides dying her hair shades darker, which looks great, her face looks different. Her nose and checks look different. Perhaps had some work done?
she sure has. Her cheeks have more filler in them than her upper lip. she did something with her nose as well, could be using filler in there or just make up.
I think she would be so pretty if it wasnt for that fake baboon looking upper lip she paid for. Its so distracting its the only thing I notice when I see her pics.

She is a very beautiful woman – looks great in the white, hideous in the Valentino. Love the darker hair. Maybe she’d have more luck chasing Sofia Vergara’s career rather than Anne Hathaway’s? Nah, probably not.
I think she looks totally beautiful these days. The silver dress is not my favorite, but she has such a gorgeous figure that she pulls it off anyway.
I love the Victoria Beckham dress, but I agree that it should have been cinched a little bit at the waist. The Valentino dress is just hideous, so I won’t bother commenting any further with that. However, I DO think she should have worn a statement heel with the white dress. Maybe red, or hot pink, to make it less boring.

I saw her last night on Letterman and MAN is she lacking in personality. She seemed WAY too self aware and was making sure not to laugh too hard or deviate too far from a “pretty” face. It was almost like she just wanted to sit there and look pretty. BORING.
I just saw a photo of her from the side in the Victoria Beckham dress on another site (The Superficial), and her body looks AMAZING. If you had the rights to those, too, you should include a butt shot. It was pretty impressive.

I think the “weirdness” at the waist may be a height/proportion thing. I’m a bit on the tall side and the waist for most dresses just hits in the wrong place and gives me the same odd fit Biel has in the white dress. Of course,she can afford to have a custom fit so…no excuse?
