Here are some photos from The 2011 UNICEF Ball at the Beverly Wilshire. The turnout wasn’t as good as the Snowflake Ball in NYC last week, but it’s still nice that celebrities came out for a good cause. Nicole Richie stood out because A) She looks really tiny, B) I’m still not in love with her hair and C) her dress was the best of the night. The dress is Osman. It’s a much more modern silhouette than I expect from her – usually she does flowy hippie crap. I like “modern Nicole” a great deal – now I just want her to do something else with the hair. Also: look at the girl Nicole is posing with – how jacked is that chick’s face?
Here’s Nick Offerman and Megan Mullally. Can I tell you how much I miss Will & Grace? I was just thinking about that show the other day. Megan and Sean Hayes together were lightning in a bottle.
Diane Kruger was my vote for worst-dressed. The dress is Emilio Pucci. Isn’t it hideous? And this is a woman who can pull off nearly any look, and this is just so bad, it transcends Diane’s Blanchett-quality. It looks like goth brothel curtains.

Yesterday, Pop Sugar had a picture of Nicole without makeup, dressed down. She looked so cute and really pretty at the same time. She looks better casual than when she is trying too hard to be some kind of fashionista. Makeup ages her, I think, especially the eye liner.
Everybody looks good, and it’s a great cause. Nicole in a modern silhouette is a nice change.
Diane Kruger is German, so I understand her wacky fashion sense, and I love it.

I don’t like Diane’s dress but under another context it could have been an interesting choice, for a charity event though it’s almost offensive.
Nicole looks OK, I guess. I like her better when she’s in jeans and tees – she just looks so cute and natural when she’s casually dressed.
Also, why is she posing with that girl like that? They look like they’re bumping lady biscuits – not that there’s anything wrong with that, but it’s a weird photo pose!
What is that posing in the Nicole/jacked chick photo? It’s so awkward and strange. They’re trying to out-thin each other.

I miss Will&Grace too. That is my all time favorite tv show. And you are right, Sean and Megan were pure magic on tv.

I don’t know if I’m just weird, but I can’t see the ‘jacked’-ness of the other girl. She looks a normal young lady that might just not have the most attractive features in the world.
Also, Nicole looks lovely. I don’t like the haircut but I like the way she styled it that night- looks less trauma-y.
Kaiser, you nailed it on all counts! The woman standing next to Nicole Richie looks like a tranny in the face. Hate that ugly black goth dress and I too miss Will & Grace. My daughters still do the finger wave at me sometimes and in Megan’s voice say to me: “Honey, what’s that?”

i dont know what kind of comedy u are into but right now she is on a comedy central show called: children’s hospital… personally i love the show and its short enough that you can quickly catch up and get a nice laugh…
