These are some new photos of LeAnn Rimes, Eddie Cibrian and Eddie’s two sons in Aspen, Colorado yesterday. As you may remember, Eddie and LeAnn spent some time before Christmas in Mexico, where they pap’d themselves daily in various beachwear ensembles, LeAnn’s bolt-ons glistening in the hot Mexican sun. Did that just make you nauseous? I made myself nauseous. After that holiday, LeAnn presumably gave Eddie and her “bonus boys” all of the inappropriate Christmas gifts she could afford, and then everybody headed off to Aspen on Monday.
Apparently, LeAnn has already been bitching about how there’s not “enough” snow in Aspen, and she’s on Twitter 24-7 talking to people, so I have no idea when she finds the time to actually ski or out-mother Brandi Glanville. Speaking of, this Aspen trip was already a controversy a month ago, when it seemed like Eddie and LeAnn were leaking info to the tabloids, claiming that Brandi was being unreasonable about the holiday plans for the kids. I dont understand how these C&D letters work. Can they actually make bloggers or writers stop writing about them? What about Freedom of Speech and all that?

How did she send it to you? vie email or home address? What did it say would happen if you didnt stop whatever you were allegedly doing? I just cant imagine that something like that would hold water in this country. If it did, people would be sending them to people all over the internet. I sent her ONE tweet saying that I knew she was this fake account that was harassing me, Jezi & Brandi and she needed to close it. Of course she denied it -BUT the account was deleted. Then a week later I got a Cease & Desist Harassment and Defamation of Character letter from her attorneys dumped at my doorstep. HA! ME Cease & Desist? I’d been getting harassed from her for months! I showed it to my lawyer, who then laughed his ass off, said it was the most unprofessional piece of sh!t he’d ever seen and then thanked me for making his week-he’d hadn’t laughed that hard in a long time. He said no judge anywhere would even hear that nonsense in a court. lol
My husband’s an attorney. He said that a C&D in cases like this is merely a scare tactic by a “paid lapdog of an attorney” and unless one is doing something illegal (and stating one’s opinion is not illegal) is basically worth the paper and ink used to print it.
I would love to have LeAnn Rimes on my couch for a session. She fascinates me in a professional manner.

NPDs love to sue and do the cease and desist thing. Leann also sued her father, so this should not surprise me. Look up the disorder. Insane.
EXAMPLE- My ex bf took out a temporary restraining order on two girls who he had dated briefly because he told them he wanted to end things and they texted him. BECAUSE THEY TEXTED HIM. It was never made into an actual restraining order b/c he had no proof and temporary restraining orders are given automatically, but can you imagine being served with a restraining order b/c you texted someone?! Eileen probably can imagine! 😉
He also was the only person in his family to sue the trustee for his grandfather’s estate. He was getting millions in a trust fund but he sued the trustee for taking out a few thousand dollars for their fees, which is their right.
NPDs never cease to amaze me. Poor Brandi.
@Tierra, yes, I am a lawyer (though not of that specialty), and IMO it was totally an intimidation thing. I have written letters for people just to prove a point. I never had any idea whether I had an actual case, but it was more to help clients with something…for instance, to get a deposit back from a landlord, etc. I would never write this sort of letter, though!
Very simply put, it’s a constant power struggle. LeAnn is kind of engaged in an imaginary one, but it’s real to her. There’s nothing she can do in terms of children who aren’t hers, but she will sure try. She can harass, intimidate and manipulate; it’s a power and control issue. You only have to look at her to see her need for control. Wonder if Eddie is the cuckold or the master manipulator?
Ooo, a day off AND a new LR and EC post. It’s gonna be a fun day.

I am really trying to understand here and not ‘start something’. Please tell me why it is not ok to write on your own blog and twitter account. I see a lot of celebrities taking photos of themselves and loved ones and twittering them (I don’t know all the lingo)and there are a lot of them who have their own blogs too. We, as free adults, do not have to read them. Don’t celebrities and people in the public eye twitter their fans. It seems a great way to appreciate them. Again, I am beginning to see that a lot of people tweet what they did on their holidays, etc…how could that be rubbing it in an ‘ex’s’ face? If it bothers someone so much why would they follow? Just curious.

It’s true that many people love tweeting about every single second of their lives, although i find it really annoying, a waste of time, and, mostly, insane.
The thing is LR tweets about the children, including posting pix of them, which are not hers ALL THE TIME. She’s just a stepmom, the kids still have a mom who’s, along with their dad, supposed to take care of them and teach them stuff. But as Brandi herself admitted before, LR is overbearing!
It’s been interesting to watch the reactions of a wider audience to LR’s crazy ways, thru the articles written both at the Jewish Journal and by Lynne. Reading her blog would be putting money in her bank account. Reading puff pieces glorifying her revolting behavious on JJ and the like is also lining someone else’s pockets through the advertising. A poster explained how it all works on a previous Rimes story a few months ago. The worst thing that could happen to her is to be ignored so I don’t click on any stories about her in the paid promotion sites like JJ, Daily Mail etc. This is the only site that I read because they don’t gloss up her sh*t and they give Brandi a fair go. Boycott anything to do with her and that creep she married and watch her go crazy (or crazier as the case may be). The only thing she has left is the tabloids – take that away and she’ll only have fast eddie for company. In particular boycott stories where Brandi’s boys are being exploited – at least in the UK papers they are required to pixelate out children’s faces when photos are printed in the media. And yes I realise the irony of commenting on a Rimes story to say “ignore her stories and her blog”.

Never had any interest in any of these people but thought L/E vile when the scandal broke. B/E married around the time I did, and I remember having the InStyle issue they were in and thinking how in love they looked. Things change and people make bad decisions, but as a parent I would want to kill someone who destroyed my family and then taunted me about it and additionally tried to take my rightful position as mother. Furthermore, I’d have had taken legal action a long time ago, especially with L/E allowing crazed fans around those little boys. I don’t know Brandi, am not on Twitter, don’t watch that Housewives show (hate reality shows, no offense meant) but I just know how I’d feel as a parent if this happened to me. I think it’s revolting that L pretends to care about the LGBT movement and bullying. And it’s freaking WEIRD that people blame the person being victimized by threats, bullying and taunts. I do not understand this situation: if she is not allowed to have them filmed, why is it OK for LR/EC to have them papped to death anywhere they go? Did EC get a court order prohibiting Brandi from having the boys exposed in public? Why would he – she was never doing anything even close to what his new wife is foisting on them. And if so, then why did Brandi not get a reciprocating court order to stop them from showing the boys off?

Leann Rimes does actually seem to be completely unstable. Scarily so actually. She seems to think that she can do whatever she wants and then demand that people like it. Having Darrell Brown try to intimidate people on her behalf and having her twitter friend’s who bully the ex around her step-children is unforgivable. When those boys are older and come to know what she has done (there is plenty of authenticated proof), they will hate her for it. They will also probably hate their Father for allowing her to use them as pawns in her mind games and quest for attention. Someone once posted that they could identify her behavior as symptomatic of Narcissistic Personality Disorder and after looking it up, I would have to agree. Eddie is putting his needs before those of his children by exposing them to this nut job. Once he leaves her, and we all know it is just a matter of time, she is going to lose it for sure. She is a stalker and a bully who has her own little bully army and she has the cash to afford legal threats that are baseless but another form of bullying none the less. What a nightmare combination.

It really is remarkable when you look up the characteristics of NPD and compare it to her behavior. Scary though to think of her having access to those kids. She really does seem to have something “off” about her. No amount of gushing on Twitter about how great things are can hide the fact that a person blissfully in love and secure in their relationship, would not have to resort to openly bullying the ex of their spouse, nor would they feel the need to try to take over children that are not theirs, try to buy their love and claim them as theirs constantly. Tori Spelling and her husband were also married to other people when they met, hooked up and divorced their repective spouses to get married. But no one obsesses about it because i dont think Tori was a psycho stalker to the ex wife and rubbed it in her face like Leann does. Leann should take a page from Tori’s book.
They got their fare share of nastiness which was deserved especially with them doing a reality show, but the public felt vindicated when they started talking about the problems in their marriage and how Tori basically admitted she is afraid of losing him because of how she got him.

I didn’t realize that Tori acted like that, but at least she was smart enough to shut the hell up. About the ex-wife, anyway. Her life seems kind of awful- husband doesn’t get any work, constantly wanting to have kids to- I don’t know- prove some kind of connection? keep everything fresh? and having to walk farm animals on leashes so she can get half the money from a photo op. I don’t think things will be so rosy for her at some point. But I have to say I am stunned at the hate aimed at Brandi. It’s like LeAnn convinced every supporter that she has fixed things the way they should’ve always been and that she was the victim somehow. Funny, she leaves her ex alone completely.
She has no need to bother Dean. There were no children in that marriage. He has a signed confidentiality agreement so he can’t say anything about Leann. He’s not a threat to her. That’s the thing with bullies- at some point, they find someone who doesn’t take their crap. Leann is so cray-cray! A couple of observations:
1) Remember when Leann was all into cooking and bragging about what a good cook she was?! This was both funny and ironic. She doesn’t really talk about that anymore. Guess she wasn’t as into it as she said she was.
2) The oldest boy stuck to Brandi during that soccer game. It must have pissed Leann off to no end to have the world know that. DB loves to hint that the boys are starting to notice ” bad behavior” from Brandi. Looks like the it’s the other way around.

Not to mention someone posted a “you are all obsessed and spreading vitriol” post in the other thread. So it won’t be too long before those kids faces are plastered all over the internet again.

Now if these are photos of them leaving after being on the slopes, notice how Leann Rimes is walking very well for someone who supposedly injured her tailbone? EC looks mad because they probably had to leave early because LR “injured” her tailbone. If LR had “injured” her tailbone like she claimed, she would be limping. What is also telling is the fact that she has a phone, a cup, and is carrying some ski gear in her hands. A person who had injured her tailbone is not going to be carrying all that stuff. Secondly notice how there is no one by her side to help her? If she was hurt like she claimed, she would had someone helping her walk and carry the items. Remember when she hurt herself in Cabo, had her foot bandaged, and had EC helping her to walk through the airport? Here is the kicker, if LR had been limping she would have made sure that her mouthpieces included that in their fluff piece. But not one mentioned that she is limping, in fact many of them left out any mention of how she injured herself. The fact that LR own mouthpieces didn’t bother to mention how she hurt herself on the slopes when they posted the photos, speaks volumes, don’t you think?
So what type of staged photo-op are we going to see from LR and EC today with those kids?

When a person has an injury to their back or tailbone, they are not going to present the way we are seeing Leann present in this photo. The number one thing with back injuries/injuries to the tailbone is that you try to alieve the pain by limping or bending over or having someone support you so that the pain isn’t on the injury. So you are not going to be walking around carrying things like this because carrying things doesn’t make the pain better it makes it worse.
Wow, seriously, are you seriously getting upset because I said that this photo-op was staged? We know it’s staged for several reasons. LR sent out a tweet confirmation telling where and when she would be with those kids. And a day prior to setting up this photo-op she tried to clean up her image by releasing an interview about how she is a good person because she did an interview about how she is against cyberbullying.
Awfully strange how people are freaking out because I pointed out how this photo contradicts what LR told her fans.
This is from GossipGirl/GossipCenter, the first media outlet that posted this STAGED photo of LR and EC: “All bundled up after hitting the slopes, LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian spent the day skiing with little Mason and Jake in Aspen, Colorado on Tuesday (December 27). The country singing cutie and her “Playboy Club” hubby warmed up with hot beverages as they made their way back to their temporary pad following a long morning on the mountain.”
From CBS: “Singer LeAnn Rimes and her husband, actor Eddie Cibrian were spotted with his boys Mason, 8, and Jake, 4, warming up with hot beverages after a day on the slopes at a ski resort in Aspen, Colorado on Tuesday (December 27).”
The examiner is the only one that reported that that this is a photo of them going to the slopes, but everyone else is saying it’s of them leaving.
@Why – you have no idea what you’re talking about. Have you ever experienced a broken tail bone?
I have, about 20 years ago. And it was not bruising or cracking, it was a full on break about 1/3 from the end and the broken off part healed at an angle leaving me in pain if I’m sitting more than 30 min at a time.
Anyway, let me tell you what you do and do not feel with broken tailbone. You feel pain, but you do not require pain meds, you feel discomfort but there is nothing to be done to alleviate it since it can’t be put in a cast. You may experience neurological symptoms (mine were repeating the same words in conversation several times in a row, and redrawing over the letters while writing. I’d draw over the same letter’s line over and over and over, and I could not make myself stop.)
I did not have a limp, I did not require anyone to support me while walking, and I did not need help with carrying my things. The only significant inconveniences were that I couldn’t lay on my back while sleeping, nor could I sit straight in a chair – I had to sit on either one or the other of the buttocks as any pressure put on the tailbone would shoot severe pain increases to my brain.
The break took about 2 months to fully heal, and nowadays I still have a persisting problem with sitting correctly, which is especially unpleasant while driving a car. My butt gets completely numb, and I can’t move because it feels stuck. But you just add an extra fluffy pillow and it helps.
If you wanted to decipher from her photos whether Leann really hurt her tailbone, the best way would be to look at the pictures of her sitting – they’d be the fastest indication of the truth.
From the pictures above, as they are, there is no fricking way to tell whether or not she actually did hurt the tailbone.
I’m not a Brandy Glanville fan, but I do feel for her. Leann and Eddie are a piece of work. First off, my parents taught me “not to take what isn’t mine”, that goes for someone else’s hubby too. They seem to go out of their way to paint Brandy as a crazy obsessed ex-wife, but they are the ones who come across as crazy and obsessed (photo opps, eating disorder, etc.). Instead of being sensitive to the situation of Brandy and even the children, it seems like they enjoying trotting them out for “family” photo opps. Leann needs to eat some food and stop parading someone elses kids around while pretending to be super stepmom. Go make a record or something.

Well, well, well. LR just released another chapter of her mega media blitz. That’s 3 staged photo-ops in a course of 3 days. That explains why campLeann is out in full force and someone is trying to convince people that this photo of LR and EC with those kids is not staged. Since LR mouthpiece made it a point to point how LR took a break from skiing to have lunch, I’m won’t be surprised if her latest staged photo-op is then followed by more photos of her and EC with the kids.

Liz is BG ex-friend and the wife of one of EC “friends”.
I think that EC is cheating with Liz because:
1) She is ALWAYS with EC and LR. That would make sense if LR and Liz were longtime friends, but they are not long time friends. We see LR with Liz, more than we see LR with her REAL childhood friends. She attends the kid’s soccer games and has been on several vacations with EC and LR.
Plus when Liz is around, LR gets REALLY clingy with EC. Liz was standing next to EC at LR beach party bash, and LR was all over EC like she was sending Liz a message or at least trying to throw people off so that they didn’t make anything out how close EC and Liz were being at the party. Liz was also at the kid’s soccer game that day that EC and LR put on that pdafest on the sidelines. Liz was also at the kid’s soccer game with EC and LR when LR wore those skimpy shorts and made out with EC on the sidelines last year. Liz was also with EC at LR at the Zoo when LR was once again all over EC. LR over does the pda with EC when Liz is around to throw people off.
2) EC attitude changes when Liz is around. Notice how EC looks upset/out of it or like he wants to be somewhere else in this photo with LR and the kids? Now pay close attention to EC when LR releases her next installment of staged photo-ops in Aspen. EC is going to be smiling and more loving toward LR. EC needed an incentive, Liz. If EC doesn’t have alcohol or Liz in his staged photo-op with LR, the result is what we are seeing in this staged photo-op from yesterday or their boat ride where LR wore the hat that from her staged shopping spree.
3) LR works WAY TOO hard to make us think that she and Liz are the bestest BFFs in the world. At first I thought it was to taunt BG because Liz is now LR friend, but now I think that LR does it to throw people off the fact that something is going on between Liz and EC.
4) LR single white females Liz just like she SWF BG. Liz was wearing a shirt that showed off her arms, and LR went out of her way to change her outfit midway into the shopping trip so that she could show off her arms, she even picked a dress that was the same color as Liz’s shirt. LR recently tweeted that EC wanted her to wear her hair straight, and guess who wears her hair straight? Liz.

It was something along the line why is it wrong when LR posts her happiness on social media when every other celeb does it. Perhaps if she let people forget her and what happened with the affair someday she can have that redemption story everyone roots for, but she’s forcing it and many people are not buying it. Add the perceived bullying (I think her and her people are guilty of this) and its a recipe for the PR nightmare that LR herself created of her own free will. It’s interesting to see it play out and hopefully karma evens it all out.
@why: at first I thought you were kind of kooky (sorry!!!!) BUT the reactions you (and only you) have elicited have made me a believer!!! I mean these two j people are exclusively responding to you, meaning you’re the one they’re worried about. And given LR’S “authenticated” bullying ways, this has to be her or the people she pays.

Gawd. Being #2 of Top 5 Most Annoying Couples in that article of ABC has to be embarrassing as hell. I mean seriously, ranked with that freak Courtney Stoddard and the Kardashians?? Basically, that means people think you are a complete joke and would like you to go away. I always have imagined Eddie thought he would move up, get more opportunities, after Leann, and instead, he’s on that list. Talk about NOT how you think it’s going to turn out. Meanwhile, both their ex-es are doing really well and are well liked by the public. Maybe karma does exist.
@why I totally find it odd that Liz is always with Leann on vacay, shopping, games etc. I do believe Liz is probably Ed’s new mistress and with her around Leann does look even more like an insecure, clingy psycho. I find it creepy that she tends to swf any woman that she thinks is competition for Ed like Brandi and Liz. Poor Leann is going to end up in the looney bin once she gets dumped.
I use to think that LR SWF Brandi because she was taunting BG, but the more and more she did it, it just became obvious that this was a desperate attempt to BE Brandi, not to taunt her. Why would LR need to BE Brandi, if EC is happy and content with Leann? In the staged photo-ops that LR released today, LR is once again wearing her hair like BG wore her hair on the RHOBH and in those photos from when BG hosted the party in Vegas at TAO. It must be so sad for LR that even on her vacations EC is thinking about someone other than Leann.
In the photos that Celebuzz/DM posted of LR and EC pdafest on the slopes and at lunch, LR is all over EC once again.What a difference a day makes. Liz shows up and now EC and LR are lovey dovey?
I feel like LR sets up these type of situations (another woman=competition) to keep the “illicit affair” vibe going. I think she and EC got off on it when they were both married and sleeping together and continue to replay the sick situation because without it they are bored with each other. Hence why LR always drags BG into the picture by any means necessary ie: dressing like her, bringing along an ex-friend, etc. I honestly think she needs to feel like she’s competing with another woman to feel like she’s actually gotten the “prize” that is EC. I believe she is addicted to the situation that started this whole mess and hates BG because she doesn’t play along and pine away for EC to come back to her, so now she settles for BG’s ex-friend. Disgusted that she will even use innocent children to get a rise out of BG, some things you don’t rise above and that is when they have to do with your children. Nice one LR, barf.
I agree, it does seem more like she wans to BE Brandi instead of taunting. Deep down she probably feels he will always love B and knows he only left her after he was kicked out. Therefore she feels like B is still competition for Ed’s “love”. Leann comes across as very insecure.

What exactly am I doing? All I have ever said from my earliest posts was that I hoped it snows more and they have fun. Just because there is a war going on with the adults doesn’t mean the kids can’t enjoy their vacation. LR doesn’t need me to have her picture taken and even if I show up to post something…how is that helping her…how am I ‘working my magic’?

Those poor boys are LeAnn’s victims and not her stepsons. I feel so sorry for them, and Brandi. She’s got years of this to go until Eddie’s been married to LeAnn for 10 years and can go after half her net worth. Prenups go out the window in California after 10 years. A prenup does not become invalid after parties have been married longer than 10 years. It remains in place unless both parties agree to void it or one of the parties successfully sues to have it invalidated. In addition, a spouse is never automatically entitled to a portion of the other spouse’s net worth. California is a community property state. Any wealth that Leann accumulated prior to marriage is separate property. Even without a prenup, Eddie would have no claim on those funds. Things get more complicated when funds are commingled but that is the essence of the law. Furthermore, the right to 1/2 of the community property begins on day one of the marriage and ends on the date of separation. If Kim K had no prenup, she and Kris H would have split any income they received during the 72 days on a 50/50 basis.
And the 10 year issue… California law deems a marriage longer than 10 years to be a long term marriage. For long term marriages, the court retains jurisdiction over the matter even after the divorce is finalized. It is up to the discretion of the judge, but in practical terms this generally means that the low earning spouse will receive spousal support until they marry or one of the former spouses die.

You can tell from the photos, something is not right between LR & EC. There is no happiness in her face (ewwww, I had to look at her face!) But it is telling. He’s looking off, no expression, not really wanting to be there. Keeping a distance. Something happened between them before they left their room. No family connection. And yeah, you can tell from candid photos many, many things. (the boys keep close contact)
I thought exactly the same thing. She looks incredibly sad. I even thought (in the close-up shot) that she really looks as if she’s been crying. She’s even tweeting a lot less than usual (on 28th Dec).
I saw the new Daily Mail Online article today where there’s a more staged photo op and she and EC are kissing. But the photos are so telling – it’s all LR kissing EC, and LR touching EC, while he stands there and just accepts the affection without seemingly being active in giving it. I felt really uncomfortable looking at these new shots in a different way to how I normally feel uncomfortable looking at her…
I don’t use twitter and only follow this story through CB. If the strange and somewhat, um, passionate comments on this thread are an indication of what the “twitter bullying battle” is like, it is more than a little frightening. I, like many others, LOVE this site for the grown-up intelligent snark. This is something else altogether and I’m finding it a little weird. Maybe I’m the only one though…
