Last night, Daniel Craig and Rachel Weisz walked their first red carpet together – as a married couple or otherwise. I just talked about this yesterday – I was surprised that Daniel and Rachel hadn’t done any red carpets together for any of the premieres of The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo, and magically, hours later, Danny & Rach followed through. I don’t want to say it’s because of my musings, but it totally is. Anyway, Daniel and Rachel did their big red carpet debut in Madrid, for the GWTDT’s Spanish premiere.
Rachel is wearing Alexander McQueen. I’m not completely in love with the dress, but it’s nice enough and Rachel looks pretty. Shortly after she and Daniel got married, she was in NYC, promoting a film, and she looked AMAZING. Like, she looked like she was coming off of an insane sex bender. Her skin was glowing, her body looked fantastic, and she just looked so happy. She looks happy here… but maybe a little tired? Maybe Daniel just wants to bone her, like, constantly. Maybe that’s why he’s so smiley and happy! He’s all, “Check out my wife. I’ve already boned her three times today!” That being said, I no longer think Rachel is already pregnant. Look at that tiny waist! Not yet. But she might be soon.
Last summer, I wrote about a story in which an eyewitness described Daniel and Rachel as “hotter than Brangelina.” Which is still a question in my mind – now that Daniel and Rachel have done their first red carpet together, who is a hotter red-carpet coupling? Craig-Weisz or Jolie-Pitt? Honestly, I’d like to watch both couples.

Sorry but I don’t think they are hotter than Brangelina in terms of looks. Craig’s George Michael stubble is outdated and makes him look grotty and sure it’s not as scraggly as Pitt’s beard/goatee whateverTF he had, but Pitt has nicer features than Daniel Craig.

Darren Afronvsky is probably one the smartest guys in Hollywood. Attractive, good director and creative. Have no idea why she would dump him for Craig.

I agree, Craig-Weisz all the way! Brad is too pretty boy, and I think Daniel is super hot. Super duper hot. Rachel has a much prettier face than Angie (too gaunt), and she doesn’t look like she would break during naked fun times.

They’re just not giving off any heat in these photos. It’s odd. They’re just standing there posing politely; they don’t have that “I’m going to go home and rip your clothes off” vibe. At least I don’t think so. And I don’t know if it’s just the way her hair is done but something about her face seems off.

I don’t feel it either… Brangelina is way hotter and way better at red carpet. These two need to take notes. They could be hot, but they look uncomfortable and stiff.

My vote is for brad and angie. they look in love, share private moments, these 2 look like they just met.

No, they are not suppose to rip their clothes off on the red carpet but with the Brange you can imagine them ripping their clothes off as soon as they reach home. It’s the way they look at each other on the red carpet. They just have a sex appeal. Rachel is very attractive, but she’s not sexy and Daniel has the body but not the face.
Daniel & Rachel are very hot together. They look clean, groomed, stylish & oh so happy. Personally, I would rather eye-ball them.

By the way Lainey is on a total hate-tour against them. The woman is crazy, she is pimping out all the showmances from Blake and Ryan to Gosling and Mendez but she hates on these two.
While I agree with Lainey’s strange/annoying/bs fangirling love of some “couples”…. I have no problme with her calling out these two.
They fooled around on long time loves and hooked up under suspiscious circumstances and curious timelines. Then they laid low and no one said boo about it. THATS the ONLY reason it has taken so long for them to walk the RC together.
I have no problem with Lainey calling them on that.
Yet Lainey worships the Brange. I find that very hypocritical.
The hate on Daniel is centered on his whining about having to sell his movies (Which IMO he deserves). It’s not about the cheating or dumping of S/O’s and she’s pretty hard on the Brange on occasion. She just creams over them on the red carpet.

I don’t usually read Lainey, but I hope she also mentioned the rumor that Darren Aronofsky is the father of Natalie Portman’s baby. If that’s true, it’s understandable that Rachel moved on.
Yes but Lainey was all fangirl about Daniel and Satsuki so I could understand why she’s not all over this pairing.

I don’t find them hot. Not sure what you are seeing that I’m completely missing. Not many are as hot as Brad and Angie on the carpet and these 2 don’t even come close. I don’t find her unattractive, just not that pretty. And he really doesn’t do anything for me….maybe his snotty little attitude, but also in the looks dept.

What I’ve noticed with Angelina, these last two years, is that she is slowly and gradually (not sure what type of cosmetic physician she is seeing) trying to morph into her mother. She has lost a tremendous amount of weight, her cheekbones look different, her eyes look different. She is smart to change gradually, but it’s becoming more obvious now – not that she isn’t pretty. She is and she is photogenic.
As for Craig…I”ll just say that it annoys the crap out of me when millionaire stars can’t find a good tailor, or in Brad’s case, groom their facial hair.
Maya I’m not going to debate whether or not Angie has had plastic surgery but I think that women usually morph into their mothers naturally without cosmetic intervention. It’s called genetics.

I think maybe because we don’t know much about Rachel; well at least I don’t. And Daniel seems so sully. So putting all that together it just doesn’t make me feel the heat. I’m sure they are loved up and happy. So no hate her.. just don’t get he sexy hot vibe.

They are a nice looking couple but Daniel Craig has a very unattractive face. His face is sagging so bad you can’t even see his beautiful eyes as much as you used too and they were his best feature. Brad and Angelina are definitely the better looking couple.

No, you are correct. She was curvy in her 20s and seemed to have lost a lot of weight in recent years. She looked “realer” when she was curvy but like most stars felt the need to become stick thin. Just google the movie “Stealing Beauty” from 1996 and her name and you will see photos of her from that movie.

OK She’s gorgeous simply sumptuous but he’s lost his hotness due to his bitchiness. There is no question in my mind that they are no where near Brad and Angie on the red carpet doing their thing. Remember Cannes? They had people swooning.
He still seems cranky-hot to me. I also like that he’s wearing a tan tailored suit that complements his coloring. Can we agree that it’s kind of unfair to compare ANY couple to Brad and Angelina-as they pretty much represent the pinnacle of hotness (especially Angelina, Brad has been looking a bit ragged lately). 🙂
I like them in theory. The fact they are Brits gets them majah bonus points from me. LOOK, area they giving me the impression that they have hot monkey swinging from chandeliers? No. Which means they probably area which is why they look chill. But I do feel. The chemistry.

It’s whatever you prefer. If you prefer a more soft, feminine face than Rachel is prettier. If you prefer more sharp, striking features than Angelina is prettier.

Daniel Craig looked surly next to Rooney Mara. He would hold her around the shoulder like she was his daughter. This is the first time I have seen him smile so much. He looks likes a happy man for the first time. They are still a bunch of cheaters but I guess they make each other happy.

Her hair isn’t the best, dress length is slightly off. Rache looks more ‘dressed up’ than Danny. His taupe/tan/khaki suit with brown shoes looks like daytime wear while she’s fitted for evening. Makes them look mis-matched as a pair.

Weisz looks amazing. Some try-too-hard posted yesterday that in airport paparazzi shots that her hair was ‘fried’…from what she could tell…since Weisz was wearing a hat. I have no idea what motivates that level of snark — I mean, I hate nearly everybody, but my bitchy comments tend to focus on things that are actually observable.

As for Daniel he’s always been once of my favorites, he’s more of a rugged man than pretty boy, I have been a little tired of hearing his constant crying in interviews of lately, your a highly paid actor who married a famous wife, you are going to be expected to give interviews and probably get papped, get over it and move on. I don’t know who the others were in that catagroy for that year, maybe she was the best out of them but by no means would I say her performance deserved an Oscar. I think Fiennes put in more of an effort in that film, in fact I think he made that film great. She was just there.

And she looks very strange…I’ve seen her in many,many films from when she first started out til now and something is definitely off about that face she looks plastic and the cheeks there is too much of them, her cheek bones used to be really structured and beautiful…I almost envied them. By the way another reason for why they might look uncomfortable is because Rachel(via Marie Claire Mag) felt uneasy bout taking pics with Daniel…that is until he persuaded her…if she was uncomfortable I don’t think he should have convinced her…maybe they should have waited or not at all. Looking at them makes me think even more so that these two just won’t last…and I totally understand why Laniey feels the way she feels…real FISHY!
For one Laniey is untrustworthy, she has been called out for being a phony by many people and been accused of making a lot of the gossip on her site up. Second, what Rachel has is great hair and make up.

I agree with others about how Rachel looks. I’ve always thought she was very naturally beautiful and also not super thin, etc. She had character and didn’t cave to the Hollywood look. Now … she looks completely different – stick thin and her face is different. Her face used to be more angular – now, she’s got this big, full moon-face that all these celebs get when they plump themselves full of fillers. They end up not even looking like themselves. It’s really too bad – sad that they don’t see it. The last movie I saw with Nicole Kidman in it – The Rabbit Hole – even though she did a great acting job, all I could do throughout the whole movie was stare at her collagen-filled lips and how strange looking they were. It totally took away from her acting. Contrast that with Dead Calm, which just came on TV last night – totally different person. Freaky!
I think Rachel has a quiet, gleaming kind of soft beauty, similar to Marion Cotillard. She’s never blown up into a big star like I thought she might though, perhaps she’s not interested in being a movie “star”
Both Brad and Daniel are looking so old lately. They both look like they could be my grandfatther. Not at all hot. David Beckham now that is something else. Both Daniel and Brad are past their prime. I think that thseir time in hollywood as money making stars is over. They will do movies that the suits like and campaign hard to get them – but the big money is behind them. So sad that Rachel chose such an old man when she is so young and beautiful.

What lacks between them is the “SPARK”. That can’t be taught, it has to be there.

The explosive chemistry between Brad and Angie, actually NO couple in HW have.
It’s a tenderness, sweetness and sexy swag that can not be duplicated. Every couple can try to generate it, but they will fail.
We don’t see Brad and Angie making out ever, but we still get that vibe. We don’t see them kissing and fondling (other than Brads hand), but their love is felt.
This married couple just looks like any other costars posing on the red carpet. Let’s keep it where they reside, and give up comparing.

This movie did not hit where they wanted, so he HAD to do the couple thing. His movies struggle and he will have to open up about his personal life. Watch and see. Just came across this article….I simply don’t get it. Craig is completely ugly, greasy looking, no charm whatsoever. Rachel is naturally beautiful and sensuous. What on earth does anyone see in him?! I’ve seen far better looking physiques even. I haven’t watched one Bond movie with him in it. I find him that repulsive.
