The Lorax had its big Hollywood premiere yesterday, and these are some photos from the event. I’m going to lead off with Taylor Swift, considering she’s usually the more noteworthy person, but I hope you guys stick with the post to see the new photos of poor Zac Efron. Anyway, Swifty and Efron both voice characters in The Lorax, which is a Dr. Seuss book that I basically have no memory of from my childhood. I was more of a Cat In the Hat and Green Eggs and Hamm girl. Still, The Lorax is a favorite for many people, what with its not-so-undercover environmental message. I’m glad they made it into a cartoon (rather than a live-action, you know?).
So Swifty wore this girlish, princessy Honor dress which… it looks like several other dresses she’s worn to several other events. The only difference is the weird neckline. At best, the neckline makes it seem like she’s got a gigantic “collar” made out of human skin. At worst, it seems like the cut of the neckline is trying to “indicate” a pair of breasts. The effect is unsettling. Plus, I really hate her hair here. I’m not a total hater of Swifty with bangs – sometimes they look really good on her. But these bangs are way too thick and long.
As for Zac Efron… you know I like this boy. He seems sweet. I kind of want him to do well. But he really needs to stop trying so hard. This hairstyle is TOO overdone. I feel like he played with his hair for a good hour before he walked the red carpet – and that’s too long. Also: GIRL, I CAN SEE YOUR HIGHLIGHTS.

First thought when I saw the pic of Taylor was; What fresh hell is going on with her boobs in that dress? Very odd neckline.

Her dress made me think of boobs, and her bad posture made me think the poor girl must have no kind of adviser, or even a best friend who could tell her not to slouch. I didn’t even look at her hair.

yes she will, and even if she would run out of those crappy gowns eventually, i’m sure she’ll hire somebody to make them especially for her with 3 simple rules: shapeless gowns, crappy shoes and crappy pastel colors.

I like Taylor’s hair, but goodness is she allergic to colour. No matter what cut, style or designs are on the dress they are all some kind of beige/cream.
While I appreciate that Taylor doesn’t dress like a hooker at events, she’s 22 and needs to stop dressing like she’s 10. This outfit looks like a First Communion dress.

I don’t mind the bangs so much but the god awful skin dress is freaking me out. The grandma bun is worse and there is something about her face that annoys me.
I have never understood the appeal of this boy. Never really was a Disney kid; I stopped watching Disney after Ryan G./ Justin T etc class left. Maybe I just have a thing for older guys.
His baggy skinny jeans are also terrible. Everything about him screams “still trying to be relevant in a post Bieber world.”

I think Taylor looks sweet. I mean she definitely has a style and what’s wrong with that? Do I have a toothache? Not really. She’s at a kids’ premiere. Being edgy at a kiddie premiere is as try hard as Zac is at trying to be straight.

Call me a younger Demi Moore (she’s got about 10 years on me), but I rented “17 Again” just to watch Zac. He’s seriously hot. And I hate Taylor Swift so effing much. “You’re mean, I’m gonna write a song about you!” Ugh. Can’t stand her.
Zac has the worst hair by a long shot. Swifty is the worst dressed, her hair is fine. You can look demure without looking silly. That’s just a silly dress with a bad cut and design. It’s for 10 year olds (without the boob cutout on top) not a 22 year old.
Please someone tell me how tatay – a total dud in every way, fashion, music,voice, personality – became a “star.” She’s so painfully vanilla in every way it’s not funny anymore; it’s almost become a caricature.
