Here’s a little post devoted to some of the couples who made big appearances at the Vanity Fair post-Oscar party. Here’s Kate Hudson and her boyfriend/baby-daddy, Matthew Bellamy. My guess is that Kate really wanted to be invited to present at the Oscars, but producers overlooked her. So instead of staying home and pouting, she pured herself into a vintage Versace gown and went out to party. I think she looks really great here – soft and cute and very pretty. Matt looks nice too – it’s good to see him partying with her crowd.
Jon Hamm and Jennifer Westfeldt. Look, you know how I feel about The Hamm. I’d like to think that he’s a lovely, supportive, amazing man and a great partner to his girlfriend of more than a decade. But what does it say about him that Jennifer is always looking so… Botoxy and kind of desperate? I know you hate it when I say this, but she makes me uncomfortable. She’s wearing a Johanna Johnson gown.
After Angelina Jolie’s leg-posing, Victoria Beckham’s little pout and patented head-tilt seems almost quaint. I think both Victoria and David look really great here. I’m assuming Posh is in her own design – she is her own best model! Haha.
Seriously, this is how Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth posed together at the Vanity Fair party. You know I like Miley, but good God! Tuck your ass in, girl. There’s no need for that! Her dress is Cavalli, by the way. It’s kind of meh.

Extreme WORD. I am sooooo sick of seeing ‘Vicki’ working this exact, and I do mean EXACT, same pose in every picture for the last couple of months. She must have practised this pose in the mirror for weeks to have it so down to the last detail. Kids or no kids, narcissistic much?
Dislike the spoiled, manipulative, unworthy, one-dimensional, and insecure Kate H.(can you tell? ;o)), but she (grudgingly) has a nice art deco-y dress. Miley looks very cute and non trashy. Good job, Miley!

I am loving Liam more and more. Yeah Miley! But that dress looks like it’s falling off her and her make-up is over-done. I like the hair tho, something different for her.
Kate’s dress is ok. Not Versace’s dress but not bad. That nude piece at the top makes it like like an ice skaters dress. The color and fit are fantastic though.
Jennifer is looks ok as well but I don’t understand why she smiles with her head down like that. I don’t know about botoxy but she does look like she is trying to hard to be cute.
Miley is using Liam as a stripper pole. There is nothing good or even acceptable about this outfit. It is tacky, ill-fitting, and does not complement her figure at all. And don’t even get me started on that cheap finger nail polish.
Re: Kate’s dress – totally agree. Every time I see a gown with those sheer nude bits – doesn’t matter how beutiful it is, it always ends up looking like an ice-skating outfit… What a shame.

I just do not understand Miley. The dress is TOO old for her and the makeup! WHO DOES HER MAKEUP? Who told her that red is good on her? With a gray dress? That doesn’t fit.
It looks like she was going for something that would have worked if it wasn’t for everything she’s wearing.
Simplify the dress, tone down the face paint.
Jon Hamm’s galpal’s dress woulda been pretty if the front/breast part was different. I feel like the V was really, really wide and there was no hint of even a little breast.

Kate Hudson is not usually my fave and her dress is pretty. I don’t know how I feel about it though. For sure not one of my fave dresses from Oscar night but is pretty.
Posh, I am sick of the scowl and I am sick of her collar bones and chest bones. Its ick.
Miley looks gorgeous. And I’m not a fan. Pure happiness on her face. Victoria’s poses make the photo unbalanced. She’s posing harder than the other people in the photo and it looks tacky or unpolished.

Kate Hudson looks great from head to toe. She looks fresh and happy.

OK, I will address the elephant in the room: What is up with Jennifer Westfeldt’s non-boobs and why would a gal wear a lovely dress like that “backwards.” Honestly, so much exposed chest? Why?
Miley looks like she walked out of the set of Dynasty. And the Hamm’s hanger-on needs to stop sticking her neck out like that it looks funny.
There is absolutely nothing soft and pretty about Kate Hudson, this dress is pretty however. Miley, that dress is too old for you, enjoy your youth girl, you’ll spend the rest of your life trying to get it back, and VB looks perfect. JW reminds me so much of Patrick Swayze’s wife, I don’t get the appeal, plus she is not photogenic, and I hate that dress.
Kate looks gorgeous — even with the skater’s panel, that’s not an easy dress to wear. I’m impressed — looks better / fitter / happier than she has in years, I suspect that’s due to Matt.

Now Posh, on the other hand, is her usual sourpuss self. I’ve actually never seen her smile. Is there something wrong with her teeth or something? But I do love her dress & her arm candy — I’m the one that should be scowling not her.

Miley looks amazing! Almost unrecognizable. She looks like she’s playing dress up and the result is a great look, but not suited to her. This would be awesome if on Sandra Bullock or Jessica Lange or Angelina Jolie. Why was Miley even there?
I expected so much more from Victoria Beckham. Very disappointed in her day job type dress. Not fitting for Oscars sat all. Now David – thats a different story. he looked fantastic – as always. Miley looks fantastic to – love the hair! Jennifers dress is bad and I dont care for Kates either.

I’m disappointed in Victoria Beckham, this was a chance to push the envelope or glam it up and she did neither. This looks like something worn to the academy luncheon, not a VF after party.
Jennifer Westfeldt.. oh my. Where do I begin? I agree with Kaiser. Uncomfortable. I just don’t get it. That second photo is worrisome. I have never seen cheeks that appled or a face protruding so much off of a skull. what.the.hell. I don’t believe for a second this is at all natural. But, what does it say about John Hamm? It says he supports his obviously insecure partner who cannot stop botoxing her face to death.
No comment on Miley & Liam because I don’t really care about them, tbh.
I really like Victorias dress. A perfect after-party dress. Even though it was simple, one of my favorites of the night. Like Hamm’s girlfriends dress but where are her boobs?
Ugh, Miley & Kate wearing long versions of 90s ice skating costumes. Didn’t Kate already get ripped enough for wearing that stringy lavender Stella McCartney (with a country cape) way back when?
Westfeldt is as fame-desperate and fake-looking as Tori Spelling. Good on Hamm for loving her anyway.
