APOCALYPSE.
Here are photos from one of the Cibrian boys’ soccer game yesterday. I don’t know whose game – Mason or Jake. But for the game, the boys’ mother was in attendance – Brandi Glanville picked out her soccer-mom spot, complete with a blanket in the grass. And of course, Eddie Cibrian, Mason and Jake’s father, was there too. And Eddie brought LeAnn Rimes. And LeAnn brought the paparazzi, of course. LeAnn made sure that the paps had lots and lots of photos of her and Eddie all loved up, but then LeAnn made sure to stop by Brandi’s blanket and sit down for a spell. Thus, some of these photos where Brandi looks like she’s going to barf on LeAnn and LeAnn looks like she’s taking notes on Brandi’s ensemble so she can copy it tomorrow.
I checked out LeAnn’s Twitter feed to see if she was feeling the post-paparazzi glow. She was. She tweeted, “We all had a blast! It was a peaceful, wonderful day. He was so cute. His first game was so funny.” Brandi tweeted – just in general, not TO LeAnn – “Soooo many paps at Jakes soccer ud think Tom Cruise was playing !!” To which LeAnn replied, “@BrandiGlanville lol sorry, this was funny! Creepy, but they turn pro at four these days. 🙂 Very popular! At least everyone had fun!” Yeah.
So have Brandi and LeAnn buried the hatchet? No. I doubt it. But they can be at the same kids’ soccer game without getting into a fistfight, which is progress. I think the dynamic is still the same – Brandi wishes she didn’t have to deal with LeAnn and her famewhore drama and Single White Female-ing, and LeAnn wishes she could BE Brandi.

The psychology of it is very interesting: Jake full-on hugging his mom while she has both hands holding him too, Eddie speaking but not looking directly at Brandi…. but LEEANN! She is flipping her hair, with her chin down like some insecure teenager while studying Brandi.

Funny thing, that’s not Eddie’s entourage, it’s Leeanne’s. That old dude is the guy Leeann calls her bonus Daddy, married her mom when Leannne was like 20. Very weird. The guy with the knee length jorts is her producer/songwriter’s boyfriend. The old dude (in lawn chair) actually watching a damn soccer game is Ed’s old man, actual grandpa of the kids involved in this gong show mess.
So it makes Leeann’s posturing even more ridiculous. Brandi had custody of the kids that day, brought them to the soccer field, sat down on her blanket to WATCH HER KIDS PLAY SOCCER. Leeanne brought the convoy to truck in her “team” of supporters and “family”, along with the paps she speed dialed to show up to record this happy! Fun! Blessed! FAMILY!!! event. Bah.

After seeing Brandi on Housewives of BH I can understand now why LeAnn got stick thin. She wasn’t going to be photographed with Brandi with one ounce of extra weight on her.
I kinda feel sorry for Brandi, there was really no need for LeAnn to sit next to her. She could have just stuck by Eddie’s side and that would have been enough. As long as there was no fighting and everyone was easy going and civil, the kid would have been just fine with that. There was no need to pretend for the cameras everything was love and light.

Brandi is getting more press than LeAnn at this stage just from being on the housewives show. I think she will be moved up from being a “friend of the housewives” to becoming a full blown housewife. LeAnn could only wish she would get that kind of publicity.

Expecting the wife of your child’s parent to stay home rather than join what IS–like it or not–her family on an outing, just so you don’t have to be in the same room with them…that is far from the definition of class.
When a child has a step-parent that person should not be marginalised just because they aren’t part of the “original” family. Whether you like them or not. dividing up the different “halves” of the family does no good for the children at all.
Not to imply that I even remotely care for either of these nobodies. I’m just advocating healthy parental relationships, here.

Brandi is way prettier..obviously has more adult-like behavior where the children are concerned…and having dealt with a wife that loved to flaunt herself at every opportunity with the kids as her excuse to pull rank…I would rather stay home than deal with a scorned wife. My best friend is a stepmother who does an amazing job–and her husband’s ex wife’s family still insist that she not attend things like her stepson’s hockey games etc because “this is time for T to be with his parents, not some new wife”.
It’s a shitty attitude to have.
I’m sure there are more than a few step-parents on this board who could attest that it’s a very difficult role, that of parent who is “not” a parent.
I don’t see anything wrong with stepparents being involved. I do think, if you were the mistress that broke up the marriage, that the one thing you shouldn’t do, if you really care about the kids and want peace, is shove yourself down the ex’es throat, and try to usurp the mother’s role, and forbid your husband and his ex from co-parenting. Which is exactly what LR did, on top of gloating and acted entitled the whole time, from the get-go. So she sort of brought all this on herself. So Brandi being cordial to her is a gift, not something she earned, IMO.
@zelda, I see your point. However, Leanne was “the other woman,” and regularly trashed Brandi (prior to this newfound “friendship” she wants us all to believe she and Brandi are having). I’m assuming that your friend didn’t enter her step-children’s lives in the manner Leanne did and, probably, doesn’t deserve to be excluded from the kid’s soccer games etc.

Brandi has bundles of friends and yet she came alone, no need for moral support. LeAnn on the other hand brought some of her employees and parents as well as called the paps to cover the moment so we can all talk about how this mess has finally evolved into an extended family of mature adults….. Oh, yes LeAnn is about to release another failed album in a couple of months but I’m sure the snow globe peacemaker isn’t thinking of that.
Brandi moved on from this affair long ago and asks her twitter people not to discuss it while LeAnn lives for her twitter turds to keep the drama going. Brandi has more strength and class in her naval lint (Yes, even Beverly Hill Celebrities get naval lint occasionally)than LeAnn could ever hope to have in her entire emaciated body.

Brandi also did say the boys say “I want to go to dads” after being with her a few days and the reverse when at his house. How B knows what they say at dad’s house made me wonder since there’s no direct convo. To hear that from my children would break my heart.

Leann feels like she “won” this round~I’m guessing it was her idea to come together as a “united front”. Every site I see this morning has glowing things to say about them “burying the hatchet”, then why does Brandi look like she does? Leann is gloating like crazy.
Multiple photos of the two boys gravitating toward Eddie & Leann and only one of Jake on Brandi’s leg. That’s got to hurt a Mom~it would me! Leann has been busy putting together an extended family unit of Eddie’s and her parents so the boys will have a strong constellation of support growing up. Also she has the material means to create a beautiful, fun and secure environment for them. Brandi has some close friends but no family close by. I’ve got a bad feeling that Brandi being on the losing end isn’t over yet. So what if she gets a return invite to Real Housewives if what matters most is slipping away.
BTW I am behind Brandi 100% and feel very sad for her. Eddie is a detestable lunk.
There’s actually additional photos out there of Jake sitting in his mom’s lap, and them cuddling. So no worries.
This was a total PR pap setup by LR. Her last album bombed – It’s all calculated. And she couldn’t WAIT to rush and get on Twitter and talk all about it. No sense of privacy for her, and she needs that constant 24/7 validation.
If she had been in intensive therapy for her horrid personality, then I might think something about her changed, but no. She’s still a narcissistic, desperate insecure famemonster.

Heidi, where are you seeing said photos? In all the pics I have seen the boys are graviatating towards their parents. They are all over Eddie and with Brandi. I never see pictures of them approaching LeAnn.IT’s Leann who approaches them and poses for the cameras with them. Yeah, boys are loyal to mom despite what Leann might think.
I see Eddie and Leann as a family unit~so if they’re focusing on him it would be the same to me. I realize they are boys at a soccer game which dad did sign them up for. But I still know Leann’s intentions of making her home the center of their little universes. It’s got to be hard for B.

LeeAnn is scarily obsessed. This goes beyond Eddie Cibrian. She has fixated on Brandi, and it’s unhealthy. The twitter feeds, the obsession, and now sitting next to her when there is no real reason for these two to communicate? Leeann needs therapy for this unhealthy fixation. Brandi is probably feeling very unnerved by it all, that’s why she looks so awkward and stiff.

I am just getting over the stomach flu and this was the first thing I come back to after it all. I have to say that Brandi is a great mom. She puts the boys feelings and needs above anything else. Their happiness is all that matters to her. That is all I will say. Rita pretty much says everything I would have.

I feel I am very moderate on here. I like LeAnn. I like Brandi. I like Eddie. Obviously, Brandi and LeAnn had some kind of communication recently about moving on and getting along. And I think it is in the best interests of all that they are cordial at occasions like this.
But for LeAnn to have called the paps disgusts me. Or say she didn’t call them and they were there. She saw them and used it as a photo op to plop herself down on the blanket for good publicity. They are barely on friendly terms. She lost her husband to him and will never be buddies or friends with her. So the normal thing to do would be to be pleasant at the game to her and not make her uncomfortable by sitting down on her blanket next to her like they’re friends. LeAnn is truely clueless. LeAnn is lacking empathy. It is my best trait, I have to say. I never try to make someone uncomfortable and see their side of it. I would never tweet on and on about MY BONUS BOYS. One day LeAnn will lose Eddie maybe one day and their little girl, say, will be with him half of the time, and she will know what real emotional pain is to have your toddler leaving your home five to six months out of the year when you add it up. I predict her calling Brandi crying how she now understands what she went through. I have seen that happen before.
I do believe Eddie and LeAnn are very much in love for now or maybe forever. Too bad she can’t just enjoy it and her life and try to be respectful. Enjoy being a stepmom and love the boys. Just don’t carry on so publically with ad nauseum tweeting, rubbing it in the mother’s face.
Eddie is crazy because he could stop this mess. Fine. He can’t stand his ex-wife, probably because as a narcissistic actor he is furious she calls him a douche and such on TV, but he should be civil at least. He stays off twitter. I will give him that. But he has to see the overtweeting LeAnn does about the children and such. Maybe secretly he likes it because it pisses Brandi off so doesn’t put a stop to it. But he is only hurting himself and LeAnn careerwise.
Personally, I think someone who serial cheated like he did will likely do it again. Cheaters love the sneaking around and drama, too. LR buddying up to BG removes A LOT of drama that I think he likes and helps create, sooooo….LR might be setting herself up here for bored Ed to go look for someone new to play with. IMO.
Haha look at poor Leann in the last pic mid row where Mr. Ed is talking to Brandi and her son is hugging her. Leann is eyeing her just wishing she could look that good. Brandi is one hot gorgeous momma unlike nostrils flaring in the wind and neighing across the field.
I actually like Leann’s top for once (shocking). However, I sill don’t understand those shorts heaps of people are wearing with the pockets hanging out. It looks ridiculous/tacky.
I’ve always had a feeling that Brandi and Ediot are not finished. His current host must know it since she tries to be Brandi’s ugly little sister. We’ll see how it plays out…
It is incredibly cruel of Rhimes to constantly insinuate herself in Brandi’s life, even invading her twitter as she must stalk it. It infuriates me as a mother to see LR use those little boys in staged photo-ops to try to get people to like her. If she loves those little boys so much, good. Tell them, not the world. It is so fake and staged to put that “bonus mom” crap on twitter. When her kid has a “bonus mom” or 3 someday she will understand just how much that hurts and how stupid it sounds. All that smoke and mirrors “look at me I am wonderful” garbage she constantly puts out there is not convincing anyone. She tries to sell herself as some great, loving, She-Ro and much like her last CD, no one is buying it.

I totally agree with everything you said above, this isn’t the end if this saga, it’s only the beginning. That said LeAnn’s obvious posing and playing to the camera is so lame and desperate, I can’t with her… even if I wanted to like her or her music her personal life overshadows everything about her.
Agreed. And I don’t believe LR cares about those kids. EC and BG were trying to work on their marriage after the affair came to light. LR moved into a house in EC/BGs neighborhood, and stalked Eddie, Brandi and the kids. I doubt stalking, and upsetting their mom was in the kid’s best interest.
LR wanted what she wanted, and was willing to put up with, and do anything to get her “prize”. This wasn’t about love, this was about “winning”.
I’m not blaming LR for what happened to the marriage, because ultimately EC wrecked his own marriage, and BG is better off. But LR didn’t give a damn about those kids then, and I can’t see how she would now. That just doesn’t make sense, she’s a total narcissist.
….and given the opportunity, LeAnn would do it all again.
ITA. Leann is all about Leann, if she needs the kids for good pr, she uses them.
So, the way I see it,these pap shots that LeAnn does only goes to show how insecure and desperate she is. Despite of all the bragging about how much the boys love her, NONE of the pap shots she ever does show that! I’ve seen the boys loving on Eddie or Brandi. When both women are present they clearly prefer mom. They sit by Brandi, sit on her lap, hug on her, etc. However, we never see them rushing to hug LeAnn per say or choosing to sit on her lap instead of Brandi’s etc. It must annoy LeAnn so. How she would love to have the boys prefer her or make it seem like they do. The boys, especially the older one, seem to treat her like a second-thought to their real parents.
All these photos show is how low she has fallen.
I would love to think that LeAnn and Eddie have finished their bullying and cruel tactics and that they’ve apologized to Brandi and are attempting a cordial relationship. But I doubt it. Brandi handled everything, from blanket to tweets, beautifully. Can’t believe that Eddie is fine with that idiot wife calling the paps to photograph his sons all the time.

The DM pics show Darrell Brown at the soccer game too. Really. Truly wanting to mend fences yet bring along the guy who called Brandi a crap mother among other (worse) things? I would expect Leann/Ed to grow up and keep this animal away from Brandi’s kids but they are no better than he.

Wow … the photo of them all standing (EC facing BG and behind him, Leann, with her entourage of fat muscle men and an unpleasant look in her face and body language) and Brandi with Jake hugging her as she meets EC eye to eye really is worth a thousand words. I am so impressed with this Brandi Glanville. She is like a samuari warrior with all the grace and strength of someone who knows who she is and doesn’t have to prove a damn thing. Good for her!

Oh, well, the photo ops are everywhere. It’s a quiet period for Brandi, no RHOBH. So good to have her everywhere to keep interest in her. So maybe it will turn out to be a win for Brandi too. The higher profile she is more offers come in for her.

Just looked at that first pic and can’t help but laugh at the expressions. Brandi is all ‘UGH get me the eff out of here’ and LeAnn has this giddy ‘horse that ate the canary” grin plastered all over her face. Somehow her attempt to appear friendly and normal is only making her seem even freakier and creepier that she already is. If I were Brandi I’d be putting a lock on my bunny hutch.

Maybe after the album bombed the record company insisted that she work on changing her image. She may have hired herself some image consultants that made her change it to try to be less abrasive to the general public who no longer buy her albums.
She always looks better with some meat on her. (if you ignore the wayward implants.) She just needs to dress more appropriately for her body type, and stop the overly sexy thing….cause the outfits that mindset leads her to are horrendous. Hopefully, she’s doing injections to her face, something that will wear off, not something so permanent as going under the knife. Otherwise, I’d be scared to see what she’ll look like in another decade.

Oh, geez….I’m sick of LeAnn butting into everything. First taking her husband, then the kids, and flaunting it. I don’t know, it just seems too in your face to me. Eddie..isn’t he a kept man? Does he really have a career of his own? What would he have done without LeAnn rescuing him? I don’t know much about Brandi, but if I were the mother, I’d feel more comfortable if LeAnn kept her distance.
