Here are some new photos of Emma Watson at the Tribeca Film Festival premiere of Struck by Lightning, which is that buzzed-about film written by and starring Glee’s Chris Colfer. Emma isn’t in the film – she just came to the premiere. Emma’s outfit is Miu Miu – do you like it? I don’t. I just want to mess with it, rearrange it, pair every separate with something else! Like, the jacket is totally cute, but I don’t like it with the skirt and blouse. The blouse is okay, I guess. It’s not my thing – I hate those high-necked, school-girl styles. I guess my biggest problem is with the skirt? I loathe the skirt, which is appropriate for Coachella but not for a Tribeca Film Festival premiere, in my opinion.
Should we also talk about her hair? I think Emma thinks her hair is awkward these days, and she has no other option but to pull it back into something severe. The last I saw, Emma still had extensions from filming The Bling Ring, which is still listed at “filming” on IMDB. She probably forgets what to do with long hair. Hint: not this.
In other Emma news, Page Six reports that Emma is looking for some New York City real estate:
“Harry Potter” star Emma Watson is looking for a New York pad and has been apartment hunting on the Upper East Side. Sources tell us the actress, who’s currently studying in England, wants a base here and has been looking at two- and three- bedroom apartments near Central Park. Watson, who is dating fellow Oxford student Will Adamowicz, was also spotted Thursday dining at new Kenmare Street eatery Ken & Cook. Her rep didn’t get back to us.

I don’t believe Emma owns any property in America, so if she buys in New York, it will probably become her American base in between her Oxford studies (if she continues with them) and her Hollywood work. Emma is scheduled to begin filming Your Voice In My Head at some point this year too – that’s the film adapted from the book by Emma Forrest, who used to date Colin Farrell. It’s a lead role for Emma! She’s spent her post-Harry Potter career trying to build up her CV with supporting roles, but I believe she really doing the “lead actress” thing with The Bling Ring and Your Voice In My Head. Can Emma carry a film? We’ll see.

I like that she is willing to play around with her make up a bit, although I think she needs a bit of face color. Fashion girls fall over themselves for Emma and its easy to see why.
I like this outfit. It is perfect for festival. Isn’t she done with her Oxford studies? She is a Brown student and said she was finishing her schooling out there.

She looks like the dead-eyed Kristen Stewart in that closeup. The clothes are terrible. They look cheap.
It’s called being tired. You would be “dead-eyed” too if you spent all night at a film set and were dodging shutterbugs 24/7. And Emma and Kristen just look alike. They both have the pretty, delicate facial features.
She has beautiful legs, though!

I’m rooting for the Potter kids, but let’s be honest, they’re none of them stellar talents; they got lucky when they got cast in the franchise. It bestowed iconic status on them – they didn’t earn it, and Emma Watson has nothing to offer that a thousand other starlets can’t do just as well, if not better. Milk it all you like but for god’s sake don’t walk around NYC looking like the Tribeca Festival is beneath you, girl!

Agreed! I hate how everyone kisses their feet and acts like they’re something amazing just for being in Harry Potter. They got lucky. That’s all.
Looks like she pulled items out of three different closets! Grandma for the blouse, mom for the skirt, and sister for the jacket! I do like them all on their own but together its confusing.

I find this girl to be one huge snooze fest. I’ve even read all the Harry Potter books and seen most of the films, and still don’t like her.

I like Emma & think she looks classy and lovely all of the time unlike so many others, but a quick look through all the Emma links on here & it’s clear whoever writes these does not like her. Uses bad photo’s and writes negatively. Oh well, it doesn’t happen in the Uk fortunately 🙂
