honestly, when I waitressed and I did it for years, the best tippers were the drinkers and smokers-no matter the color.. the rest of the patrons were about on par with each other.

I don’t think the blind is Gerard, K.
Does sound more like Wilmer. What about Ryan Phillipe?

Funny!!Pete Campbell seems a cool guy. Opinions about the Don-Megan mess?? I can’t understand what’s happening to Don, it was like he was somewhere else with his mind.
Oh and I loved the Peggy’s mess with the Heinz.

Hm. Slow news day, huh? The Hamm is delicious, as per usual – even with the scruff! And as for Britney Spears, I’d rather watch mind-numbing hours of “American Idol,” than pay to watch her lip-synch and walk around onstage.

Ahhhh can we please, please, pleassseee have a weekly Mad Men recap? My boyfriend watches but won’t dissect it with me and none of my girlfriends watch it at all! I want to talk about that last episode sooo bad. I don’t want to randomly put stuff in the comments ’cause of all the spoilers!

I got my first $100 tip about 6 months into waiting tables (at the Applebees) by an older black couple. He had just graduated from Seminary. They were incredibly nice, and I, unfortunately, was slammed and couldn’t give them the attention they deserved. They didn’t care. They still tipped me very well (their bill was around $50). So, since that moment, I never discriminated, and I waited tables until I graduated (a year and a half ago). Have I gotten stiffed by black customers? Yup. Also gotten stiffed by white customers. Indian too. And every other race of peoples I waited on. It happens. Part of waiting tables.

Worst tip I ever got was on a Sunday after church services from an elderly white gentleman, he gave me a quarter and a rock with a bible verse glued on it-his reasoning and I quote ” You should be in church on Sundays”. I gave him back the quarter but kept the rock to remind myself that you can’t please everyone..

Does he think church lasts all day? Why wasn’t he in church on Sunday? Who would serve him lunch if you had been in church? Why was he at an establishment that is open on the Lord’s Day?

A waitress at my last job got a fake $50 bill tip with bible verses all over it.

We watched the bowling match last night & LOVED it! Actually, we watch it every Monday night since my husband loves all things Nerdist. Its cool with me because Chris Hardwick will be my 2nd husband. Its all my current husband’s fault, he is the one who introduced us! LOL!
