Angelina & Brad are renting (not buying) a huge mansion in Surrey, England

When I wrote about Jennifer Aniston’s $40,000-a-month rental yesterday, the Pity Party Patrol came out in full force to claim that Brangelina NEVER gets the kind of mild criticism Aniston ENDURES for their respective excesses. I beg to differ – we always cover Brangelina’s real estate rumors, especially when the alleged purchases/rentals are crazy and/or expensive. Most recently, we discussed the rumor that Angelina Jolie bought Brad a motherchucking WATERFALL for his birthday. We also discussed the possible real estate purchases/rentals that the Jolie-Pitts might be undertaking in England, as the family settles down so Angelina can film Maleficent. Now E! News reports that the early reports (that the Jolie-Pitts bought a UK mansion outright) are false, and they are in fact renting a big mansion. I’m including some of the aerial photos below, and here’s E!’s story:

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt just snapped up one fancy rental home. While the betrothed actors didn’t buy the Whornes Place estate in London, it turns out the über-famous couple is temporarily residing in another “palatial” home in the area. And it looks like they’re settling in.

Despite reports Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie forked over $16 million to reside in the Whornes Palace in the West London town of Richmond, E! News has learned exclusively the charitable pair is renting a huge mansion in one of the most “exclusive areas” in the United Kingdom.

“[Brad and Angelina] have decided to settle into one property rather than move around because they are going to be in London for 15 months,” a source told E! News. “It seems better for the whole family if they have a proper base. They have been moved into a palatial mansion that resembles the White House on the exclusive Wentworth golf course in Surrey. It is in a beautiful, gated community, one of the most exclusive areas in the U.K.”

But, Jolie and Pitt aren’t the first celebrities to reside in the stunning home, which sits 21 miles outside of London.

The estate has had its share of star-studded residents, including Elton John and Fergie, the Duchess of York.

And there’s plenty of room for Jolie to stretch her legs.

“The house has eight bedrooms and eight bathrooms, staff quarters, a gazebo in the garden, an indoor swimming pool and a playground for the children,” the source said.

“They have also hired a full time chef.”

Meanwhile, there’s still no word yet on when the newly engaged pair, who moved into the home a week ago, will tie the knot.

But, their new digs certainly would make for one fine place for a wedding. We’re just sayin’.

[From E! News]

There’s no mention of how much this rental costs per month, but I can imagine that it would be in the tens of thousands (per month). I should also note this – considering Angelina is the big-name “star” of Maleficent and the studio wants to keep her happy, I’m guessing that the studio is probably paying for all or part of the Jolie-Pitts’ living expenses. I don’t know what Angelina has in her contracts – she might get a general “living allowance” stipend, or the studio might pay for everything flat-out.

(Sidenote: I’d still really like to know what happened to the converted farmhouse Angelina bought in England back in 2001. Did she sell it?)

By the way – Brangelina should be in the South of France within the next few days. Brad’s film is competing at the Cannes Film Festival. So… Brangelina red carpet sighting! It will be Angelina’s first red carpet with her engagement ring.

Angie sold the Farm House a while after she and Madd moved in with Brad. Can’t recall if it was after Zee’s adoption. I recall seeing video of her moving things into Brad’house then.. and she had shipped items over from Europe.

Just like the Waterfall story was FALSE..the home in Italy was FALSE.. the home in Serbia was FALSE.. this one is too.

I don’t think it is the same place they lived in when Brad was filming WWZ.. But love the little playground for the kids. And whatever.. I like that they stay together as a family. I don’t know how anyone finds fault with that.

    • Jackie says:

      ‘madd’ and ‘zee’???

you realize you don’t actually know these people, right?

      • original almond says:

Shhh, don’t point out how creepy and obsessive it is to know all these details from 10 years ago.

      • lisa says:

YES I do.. stop being silly.. I just used the shortest way to type the names.. Seriously some of you are beyond idiotic. I don’t know them and neither do you.. Just like people write Bey for Beyonce or JLO for Jennifer Lopez.. do you say something about that.. NOPE.

get a grip.. I think you are the one with the issue.. not me.

and what is creepy is why you care…

OH and they didn’t buy a home in Greece either..

      • nofkksgiven says:

get off your high horses ladies (yeah almond and jackie) – trying to make someone feel bad over the internet for actually having valuable information to add to an article you are also reading and commenting on….get over yourself

      • Guest says:

oh please the haters know more about Angelina and Brad than even the fans all ones has to do o to that cesspool FF and see that they those obsessed stalkers who claim to hate the JPS know about every interview and every pic the two have taken

      • Jackie says:

i think we may have different definitions of the term ‘valuable information’.

      • nofkksgiven says:

girl stop – if that was the case you wouldn’t be commenting all up and down the post – it holds some value for you – you’re not better or smarter than anybody else because you don’t care for angelina jolie

      • Guest says:

well considering the fact that Kaiser asked in her writeup about Angelinas England house id say that information was valuable for this story

      • original almond says:

There’s no high horse here. It’s regular sized, really. I just think that some people ride on batsh!t crazy ponies. But don’t take my criticism at heart. I’m just a stranger on the internet.

      • TheOriginalKitten says:

        Almond….making me lol 🙂

      • samira677 says:

Baffled by those attacking Lisa. That’s how Brad and Angelina, or should I say Mr. Pitt and Ms. Jolie-Voight since I don’t know them, refer to their kids in interviews. Sometimes reporters call them that. Also it’s easy to remember things from 10 years ago when tabloids and haters keep repeating the same stories and lies. It’s easy to look up the truth. It’s funny how haters keep call fans crazy but they go on the attack for the most insignificant things.

      • sullivan says:

Wait. Is Jackie the one that commented down-thread on Angie’s *love of chaos* as if she knew her personally? That’s so perfect. Thanks for the chuckle.

    • lira says:

Here we go again. apparently this is going to be the norm.
Good that Kaiser pointed out that they are posting also tabloid-y gossip related to the JPs.
They do! they do post stuff like this , non- confirmed gossip, that many times end up being lies.
Also the same old routine starts. sometimes they are allegedly old fans that now cannot stand them, or are regular folks just worried about Aj’s health, or their children welfare (after they said hideous things)etc. In all cases they are never fans of the ex.
They also do not respond to the actual information given, when faced with facts they demerit the poster, or not answer at all (but continue posting in other pasts of the thread).
Nevertheless some people will claim that these posts are nicer, and that the fans need a life when some of them post a lot and even more than the fans.
      Weird, isn’t it?

  2. original almond says:

Good god, in the first picture, from the neck down, she looks like my grandma, who is 90. Thick waist or not, this bitch should eat.

Oh, and on the subject at hand, they have money. They’re going to spend it according to their lifestyle. Same goes for Aniston and other millionaire stars out there. This shouldn’t even be news.

    • Esmom says:

I noticed the stick legs, too. Eek.

      • sup says:

the dress is a bit too large for her which is making her look even smaller. i assume she lost additional weight after the dress was fitted on her.

  3. Axel 5 says:

the most beautiful woman on earth!

  4. Jackie says:

i use to be a fan of angelina. however, these two are so overexposed, i now just want them to go away.

i can’t imagine moving every couple of months with 6 kids…to different parts of the world, no less.

such chaos, but she has always liked being surrounded by chaos.

teams of nannies, assistants, chefs, and maids, makes it less troublesome, i guess.

    • lisa says:

Let’s see they are basically out of site. the media is the one writing stories daily. but that is their fault.

I don’t buy you ever being a fan. How you blame them because gossip site are obsessed..

and I hope all the whinny Jen fans have fun today making negative comments. I guess it is their way of getting there due.

and of course the skinny talk starts.

Angie hardly looks 90. such a silly thing.. but hey go with it.

      • Jackie says:

you are assuming i am a fan of jennifer aniston. never have been. her tv show and 98% of her movies are submental.

    • nofkksgiven says:

      ‘madd’ and ‘zee’???

you realize you don’t actually know these people, right?

but then you can say things like “she has always liked being surrounded by chaos”

are you her therapist? how do you know her life preferences? oh, you assume ….right.

      • sullivan says:

Funny! Thanks for pointing that out. I didn’t realize that this commenter was the same one chastising another for using “Madd” & “Zee.”

  5. Fyofeelings says:

Last time I checked isn’t it their money that they earned/made to do what they want to do with it?! Why does it concern anyone what they or anybody do with their own money?! I hate when people try to tell someone else how they should or shouldn’t spend their money worry about your own.

    • Rhea says:

This is what make me shaking my head, too. People can easily criticizing others that when they have that much money they would not spend it for this and that. Guess what, when we are NEVER and NOT in the position where we have money that could last for 7 generations, of course we wouldn’t!

Don’t tell me when you are filthy rich, you wouldn’t splurge on something extravagant that for you would only a mint spending in your wallet, while for others would be an outrageously spending.

If I have that amount of money, I would definitely take my whole family travel around the world in first class and buying a property in a place where it holds a dear memory for me. 😉

At least the Jolie-Pitt balancing their spending with doing a charity, too. (Please, spare me the argument that they’re doing it ONLY for publicity)

      • spinner says:

Hi Rhea…You are such a sweet person. I hope you make your fortune & take your family around the world. I agree with your sentiments about money. What good is it if it is not used?

      • TheOriginalKitten says:

I know you’re not asking me but I’m going to answer (lucky you!) 🙂
I probably would spend a large amount of money on taking care of my family and traveling and I would donate to animal charities. But listen I DO know people who would give all the money away. I have friends who are vehement environmentalists who actually make it a life’s goal to not spend money and essentially not consume (one has only 16 possessions). Now, as i said, that is NOT me 😉 But just to say that there ARE people that don’t live to spend money, even if they have an excessive amount at their disposal. I also agree that they are the exception to the rule. While I really do genuinely admire the charitable work that the J-Ps do (and I DON’T think it’s for the sake of publicity), I admire my friends who life a minimalist lifestyle even more. Mainly because I don’t think I could do it!

      • Rhea says:

@Spinner: Awww…. thank you. I wish all the best thing for you, too spinner. 🙂

@TheOriginalKitten : Wow, your friend is really selfless. That is a really good thing. I definitely can not do that, too. #hung my head in shame#
The same as you I would take care my loved one and splurge on things that would help their life easier or make them happy here and there. Especially I have 2 kids that sometimes I wish I could spoiled by bringing them travel to a lot of interesting and beautiful places in the world. 😉

Definitely would donate for any good cause that could help a lot of people, environments and animals.

  6. Bellachai says:

Call me crazy but with what…six kids (I lost count) this seems not so unreasonable. What gets me is some little twit buying a six bedroom mansion for one person

    • Esmom says:

So, so true. They will actually live in the house and use it. And I imagine all those kids will really give the playground a run for its money!

      • Rhea says:

Yup. I live in NYC, in a 2 small bedroom apartment with 2 toddlers+hubby, with no yard access and boy, do I feel cramped sometimes. 😀

    • jwoolman says:

That’s just what I was thinking – at least they have a passel of kids who will thoroughly enjoy all the features and land to explore. Plenty of room for the JP tribe and any of their friends. I always wonder how many parties/sleepover events other folk must have to justify huge places like this.
But the money is really never wasted, it all goes eventually to buying groceries and paying rent for regular folk who are directly or indirectly employed in the process. Also rental or ownership means paying big time into the local tax base, meaning it supports local government services. The only way the rich can truly waste money is by burning it. So let them spend as much as they want.

  7. kira says:

“A living allowance”? Yep, it’s so hard making ends meet with a 20 million salary. How does she do it? She must sit up late at night, clipping coupons, like me. 🙂

    • lira says:

Remember that is not only “she”, but also to any major star in an important movie.
I heard that the studios pay for the leading actors’ houses and living expenses, but also for their families plane tickets when they live afar, etc (John Travolta gas demands for his plane anyone?). things like that. yes, it seems excessive, but for many it is the standard norm.
I do not believe that other actors, male or female do not get this treatment. I do not visualize the Cruises , or Theron, or any other movie or even TV well paid actor clipping coupons either. Entertainment is a ridiculously well paid business. At least some of them try to give back som in charities, or create companies to create more jobs, not just sit on it.
      .
And it is a huge business for the studios. They end up making the most money one way or the other, be movie tickets or dvd, showings on tv, etc. And if that movie fails, then they can get back money with some other smaller films, etc.

      • Rena says:

You are right that the studio pays the living costs for the primary actors. Angelina is getting $15+mil for this film and backend. Disney just made a mint plus on The Avengers. The studio is giving Angelina everything she asks for as they have built this film around her.

This is SOP for studios and film makers to provide for the casts expenses of films shot on location.

      • flower says:

Studios don’t only pay for cast expenses but also living expenses for tech people if they are away from home, such as the cinematographer, director, assistant directors, set designer/dresser, costume designer etc. Usually a hotel room and meals, plus wages, the big stars get a nice home to live in, it’s the absolute norm for movies these days, that’s one of the the reasons it cost at least $50 million to make your average non-CGI movie.

  8. Dibba says:

Just read aj bought Bp a helicopter and lessons to go with landing pad they installed. Seem to be on spending spree! I hope he doesn’t. He reminds me of JFK jr. Knows enough to be a danger to himself. Why are they in London for so long? Maybe the kids can make some friends

    • Rena says:

NO NO NO, just another complete LIE made up by the UK Sun tabloid which also lied about the UK house purchase. For some reason The Sun lies 100% and people actually believe their lies, LOL. The Sun one day says they bought a house then a few days later says they are renting an entirely different house with no retraction of the first lie. There was no helicopter bought by Angelina, OK. Murdoch needs to worry about Brooks and jail rather than printing more lies in The Sun.

  9. Dibba says:

Good description of her. I think she does enjoy chaos a bit. Finds it exciting. Too bad its not ideal environment for kids.

  10. Sara says:

Wow, in the first pic that dress and hair are god awful. Thankfully that hair color is no longer.

    • TheOriginalKitten says:

Seriously. I think that is the only “bad” picture I’ve ever seen of this woman. I don’t even recall when her hair was that dark but it’s too severe…even her “bad” pictures are still good though. Looking “less beautiful” isn’t really a failure.

  11. Asli says:

Hahaha – agreed. This is the most unnecessary post ever. What is this? High school? There was no pity party whatever. People are allowed to state their opinions – and most of the people who commented in ”favor” of Aniston aren’t even fans – including myself. You’d know that if you had actually read the comments. Also, you might cover those stories but Jen posts never go without a gigantic amount of: ”How excessive! HOW SELFISH! What a waste!!” and all sorts of ugly, nasty name calling. And PLEASE – the criticism of Aniston have never been ”mild”.

    • TheOriginalKitten says:

Hey Asli! ITA with all you said.
Because if you dare to point out hypocrisy, you are automatically a “Jen-hen” or part of the “Pity party”.
I don’t think the issue was ever about equal coverage about their (JA/J-Ps)financial expenditures, the issue was about HOW it’s covered and people’s response to that. I mean, nobody is forcing me to read C/B-I read it because I love it but it IS inarguably biased. Just silly and insulting for some to pretend it’s not.

      • Asli says:

        @Originalkitten – It’s like you’re reading my mind 😛

Just look at the two examples there were given of coverage for Brangelina. The entire tone of the posts are completely different compared to Jen’s. Especially the last paragraph(s). That’s what bugs me. If you’re going to be bias, be bias but don’t come up with some bull crap excuse or pretend like you’re the one being attacked when all people are doing is pointing out the obvious.

@Green-Eyes – Thanks 🙂 Honestly, I haven’t ever called any posts unnecessary I just find this particular post unnecessary. If you read the comments from yesterdays Jen post you’ll know why.

      • TheOriginalKitten says:

Exactly! Lots of “!!!!” and over-excitement in the blog post. Argh. Oh well. Stranger yet are those posters that get all worked up/genuinely angry. A lot of negative energy and anger expended over a celebrity. And no I’m not a hypocrite, because I’m chillin’, not yelling at folks. Relax people.

      • Green_Eyes says:

Asli, didn’t read any of yesterday’s. Too anxious & was at the Drs. Most of the day (just found out I’m in kidney failure among all the other health mess). You get well hon. I know what it’s like to be so bored in the hospital. Television just doesn’t cut it, reading is good..but hard to get into a good book when they come do vitals and what not every 15 minutes or so. Thats when you find yourself reading & lol even commenting on things you don’t normally do. Get the feeling I will be doing it again soon. I don’t post daily (a yr and a half & my comments are still moderated so I definitely am not a familiar poster:)), but my point, I don’t see you post much, and if I were in your place
I’m sure yesterday had I an electronic devise on me that I was allowed to turn on, I may have made some comments out of boredom (I hope I wouldn’t, but may have also made some just to vent my frustration). There are some whose names i see a lot though and “the most unnecessary post or irrelevant post” seems to be their auto pilot catch phrase. Lol. I get some seem that way, but if they have something better to do, do it;). Don’t read the post. Not being mean ( though afraid on a blog when facial expression
& tone is not present it may seem otherwise), but the posts are in fun, and fans enjoy them. Some take them seriously, others see them as fun & entertaining. I see it as a few minutes of escapism from the meds and machines. Again Asli, I certainly didn’t mean you sweetie. You get well & hope You can go home soon:).

      • Janet says:

To Green-eyes: OMG! Sorry to hear that. You’re one of my favorite people on this blog. Feel better soon.

Asli — hope you’re feeling better soon too.

I posted this as a reply to Green-eyes but the reply button seems to be screwed up.

      • Green_Eyes says:

Thank you Janet And Asli, I really appreciate your well wishes. Just another hurdle, I’ll get thru & thankful it’s not worse. 🙂 very kind of both of you:).

      • spinner says:

@ Green_Eyes…I am holding good thoughts for you.

@ Asli…get well & avoid scooters at all cost.

      • Rhea says:

I am a fan of Angie, not Pitt. With that being said, I am not her hard core fan. For your info also, I have never called anyone who state their opinion in favor of Jen as Jen’s team. 😉

I found myself surprised that it is MORE inarguably biased if you read how people attacked Angie. Either from Jen’s team or not even Jen’s team. I understand it IF it’s the avid fan from both of the team, they would argue defending their idol and gets heated on the process. It’s just the nature of avid fan.

What I don’t get is if you are NOT the hard core fan of either team. Why do you passionately hate someone you do not know personally? A lot of people don’t like a celeb and they would just ignore anything about that particular celeb.

I do come to this site for reading the funny comments, bitching the celebs, but I found that sometimes people will criticize Angelina passionately (downright mean spirited) for a very silly reason. Yes, Jen got attacked too. Other celebs too. But not in a full blown as Angie.

      • Eve says:

Rhea, totally agree with you (comment # 20).

      • TheOriginalKitten says:

@ Rhea-See, now I’ve heard that people criticize Angie really badly on other sites (wouldn’t know because I don’t read them) but I definitely feel like here is a “safe zone” for Brang-fans. BTW, I think anybody who is running around screaming “homewrecker” about AJ is probably projecting. Seriously the “she stole him” crap needs to be put to bed. I get that people who are zealous fans will defend either side at any cost but I hate when people on either side start criticizing appearances, whether it’s “chicken legs” (Ang) or “maniston” (Jen). And I just notice that the J-P fans are more harsh (at least around here) towards Aniston. I’m the first to agree that she’s not the most talented, interesting individual and I know it’s all fun gossip but there’s a point where I think people take it too far ya know? Just seems like women viciously hating on women. Ugh, I am SO overcommenting here today..work is boring…must get off this site…………now….

      • Rhea says:

@Original Kitten : I agree that while it’s not completely safe zone this site is much milder in targeting Angie. I shudder to think how many strangers wishing Angie and her family a harm in other sites.

I also do not agree with people commenting other woman’s appearance. Clothes, shoes, no problem. But not the appearance you are born with. Is it any wonder why a lot of the celebs doing a plastic surgery, botox, peeling, etc? Funny thing is they would get a lot of critics if they are doing it, too. Being a celeb is not easy, I would say. -_-

I hope you have a good day at work, it’s a rainy day at my place right now making me wish I could just stay under the blanket all day. 🙂

      • Eve says:

@ Rhea-See, now I’ve heard that people criticize Angie really badly on other sites (wouldn’t know because I don’t read them) but I definitely feel like here is a “safe zone” for Brang-fans.

Well, Kitten…I’m glad that this is a friendly zone for Jolie fans. There aren’t many sites out there where we can enjoy positive posts about her without being attacked (although even here we’re occasionally viciously attacked). JustJared’s boards don’t count — that whole thing is a mess (I only check the reasonably sized pictures there from time to time).

P.S.: Eesh, what’s going on with the reply button today?

      • TheOriginalKitten says:

I know, Eve! “Reply” is effed today right?
I don’t have a problem with it being a safe zone for J-Pers. I like her too ya know? In fact I really don’t see how anyone can hate on Jolie. My comments on AJP posts are mainly at why does defending your celeb always lead to attacking other people/celebs and hitting below the belt with shitty comments ya know? Meh. Not trying to be sanctimonious, just hoping some people will think twice in the future before putting that kind of nastiness out there. Ugh, I said I’d stay away and here I am-back again. Almost finished eating my tabouli….nom

      • lisa says:

I’m a big Angie fan.. And will honestly say when I see a nasty comment I respond. Not when someones says.. Oh I don’t like her dress or I don’t like the hair style. That is an honest opinion. But when it becomes some nasty vile thing.. yes I reply. And I for one don’t mention Aniston or attack other celebs to defend anyone. But why is it always the MO of some people to attack Angie or Brad not only on their threads, but check out other thread that are not ever about them, and you will find comments out of the blue. Seriously.. I could go on any of the threads on this front page and find a couple of references to either or both. That to me is an obsessive agenda.

      • mln76 says:

@lisa There are obviously people with an obsessive agenda who seem to use the board as way of emailing friends rather than a comment section. Don’t take them to seriously their investment and constant comments speak for itself.

As much as they’d like to say people who have a different opinion on the Brange or any other celebrity on here have no ‘life’ what I’d say is that they are just as bad as us ‘loons’.

Only a bit worse cause I don’t like them 😉

      • Kara Ann says:

You’re not over-commenting. I enjoy your comments b/c you are sane and level-headed. In between viciousness, it’s nice to see YOU 🙂

      • Kara Ann says:

@36 original Kitten, comment #39 was to you. This was an addendum b/c it didn’t post correctly. The “reply” button is whack!

    • Green_Eyes says:

Found it unnecessary..Yet, you read & commented on it. So must find some interest. Otherwise who reads celebrity tidbits they deem unnecessary & takes time to comment? Oh wait people that have too much time on their hands (Asli I get, been there in the hospital…yes gets boring in those sterile rooms pain or not..get well soon)! Others who repeatedly read & repeatedly comment how unnecessary it is to post about a celebrity … Just makes them should petty. Especially when talking about real life..if you have one how are these same people commenting regularly about how irrelevant these blogs are… Then go out in your real world and do something. Not directed @ anyone specifically, unless you post that regularly or one finds themselves offended by my comment. After all if offended I obviously struck a cord.

As for people shortening names & such. Some use mobile devices to post, MUCH easier to shorten, anyone ever having used one to text would know this! Geez people it’s a celebrity blog, not The Holy Grail…. Get over yourselves and let those who enjoy it do so.

  12. Katherine says:

I imagine the studio is paying for this.

It is a lovely looking property.

  13. TheOriginalKitten says:

Ha ha..comments cracking me up this morning. A reminder that some people need *real life* problems to focus on, that’s for damn sure.
Anyway, London is amazing. I would kill just to be able to rent a modest apt out there, nevermind a tricked-out manse. Jealous…

    • Asli says:

Hi Kitten! Agreed. I’m in the hospital, I need my dose of crazy for the day (especially since the nurse REFUSES to give me any morphine). It’s entertaining, that’s for sure.

Also, my cousin just got back from London and she said she had the best time ever. Oy, I wanna go! Jealous indeed.

      • TheOriginalKitten says:

Wait, are you really in the hospital, Asli?? What happened???

      • Asli says:

Eh. I got hit by a scooter and broke a rib. It’s not too bad. But there’s this elderly man (he’s in the room next to mine) and I swear he’s dying. He’s screaming and the heart moniter thingy is slowing down a bit. He sounds in excrutiating pain. I hate hospitals.

      • TheOriginalKitten says:

Oh sh-t girl! I am so sorry to hear that. If it was anybody else, I’d be worried but I know that you’ve been through a LOT worse. You’ll tough it out. I hope you’re getting som good pain meds out of it at least 😉
Oh man…that is scary…hospitals are so depressing 🙁 I’ll be thinking of ya-hope you recover soon, Asli!

      • TheOriginalKitten says:

Oh man..you need to get out of there. I feel like something happens on a karmic level when you’re in the same room as somebody when they pass.
Ha ha..you are the only person I know who actually LIKES plane food! I do like the dessert things they give you on international flights though. Even though they’re 99% chemicals, they’re mad good!
Well the main thing is that you get better and I’m sure you will soon 🙂

      • OriginalTiffany says:

Asli, I am so sorry you got hurt!
I am also sorry to tell you that those peeps can live like that for a long time. Or die. Big crapshoot.

We had a ward where all the older people with screaming and dementia, etc. went as to not disturb the other patients.
Try going into a room with 6 beds of that in it. Earplugs?
        Feel better.
Kitten, have you ever been with a dying person?
Just wondering. I did a scan on a guy that died midway, both grandmothers and the worst was a guy who died in my exam room and I was on call and the morgue waited all night to get him. I had to sit in there with dead dude all night. Now that I think about it, I’ve seen way too many people croak. Maybe that’s why I quit.

What a beautiful house. I wonder what it’s like inside.

  15. foozy says:

in their defense, i’d have say they have 6 children and plenty of staff around and therefore need that kind of space. aniston is alone with her bf…

  16. kira says:

I don’t get the people complaining that the write-ups on Aniston should be unbiased (i.e. nicer)?

    Bloggers have their likes/dislikes…
Why care whether a celeb is treated fairly by a blogger? I see people on D-Listed say the same thing when MK makes fun of Aniston. But, MK makes fun of everyone in a similar way…

People act like it’s a terrible injustice to say anything negative about her…like she’s a Holocaust survivor and deserves to be treated with kid gloves forever…

At the same time, these same people won’t care a lick when bloggers trash so many other celebs, and in much worse ways, too.

The “Defend-Aniston-on-the-Internet” posters are interesting…same goes for the folks who can’t take cracks at other celebs–on a site called CELE-BITCHY–no less.

  17. lower-case deb says:

i think this is one of the few pictures i see her with that length of dress. makes her look stumpy. it’s a weird thing actually. it makes her simultaneously thin and wide, lithe and stumpy at the same time. the combination with the short(ish) heel and the way she is oriented towards brad pitt just makes it a rather unappealing form for her.

thank goodness she seems not to go for dresses of this length anymore.

  18. alex says:

Angelina and Brad have 6 kids to fill this place and every time they move into 1 of these places you never hear about them renovating it for the freaking cost of its value. They seem to like most of the houses almost as is (ex New Orleans).

  19. Eve says:

@ Rhea-See, now I’ve heard that people criticize Angie really badly on other sites (wouldn’t know because I don’t read them) but I definitely feel like here is a “safe zone” for Brang-fans.

Well, Kitten…I’m glad that this is a friendly zone for Jolie fans. There aren’t many sites out there where we can enjoy positive posts about her without being attacked (although even here we’re occasionally viciously attacked). JustJared’s boards don’t count — that whole thing is a mess (I only check the reasonably sized pictures there from time to time).

  20. Eve says:

Eesh, what’s going on with the reply button today?

  21. sharylmj says:

WOW!!! that is an awesome house for that giant Jolie-Pitt family and staff! It looks perfect! lots of grass, playground, plenty of bedroom and bathrooms. Good for them to find a place for the entire family to be happy and live contently during their time in the UK.. love it 🙂

  22. Sarah says:

Noooo! Go away! We don’t want you here!

  23. wq says:

I read about Billy Bob’s interview he gave to Nightline. He was asked about his friendship with Angelina, he handled it well. It seems whatever she wrote in the foreword for his book was very sweet and personal. Too bad Billy Bob didn’t feel secure in himself to make the marriage work because Angelina looked so in love with him. They still have a lot of love for each other as friends. Her friendship with Jonny Lee Miller is sweet as well.

  24. Camille (The original) says:

I feel the same way about this story as I did about the JA story from yesterday (and about people buying ridiculously expensive engagement rings ;)), its their $ and they can do what they like with it. *shrugs*

These real estate stories are pretty much non-stories imo. Although I have to say that that playground for the kids looks cool.

    • Camille (The original) says:

How the hell did my comment end up all the way here? lol The reply button really is out of wack on this thread isn’t it.

      • sarahtonin says:

It was doing the same thing yesterday on another thread. Being new here I thought it was my mistake but apparently not. I thought maybe it had something to do with the time stamps but I’m not sure.

  25. aud says:

meh, i think it’s different for brad and angelina. They rent a big house and have a bunch of kids. They need space for them.

jennifer just rents a big house cause she can. it doesn’t make sense and the amount of waste bothers me. rent something for 5-10 grand, donate 30 grand per month to a charity

  26. Mew says:

I wouldn’t mind having a house like that and money to upkeep it and have staff for myself. Oh, it would be awesome….

  27. sarahtonin says:

As long as it has a basement for her to lock herself in, away from the kids and where she can have some quiet time with her knife, I’m sure she’s happy.

  28. spugzbunny says:

I work 3 miles away from there and drive past the entrance every day! Maybe I’ll see Brange when I’m swigging my extra strength coffee and chuffing away on my morning cigarette!

To be fair to them, you’d be stupid to buy in the UK to sell again in a short period. House prices are shocking and the market is not looking any better.

  29. Bohemia says:

    Wow. Nice house!
