Richard Simmons’ steamer catches fire on Letterman

Richard Simmons is such a diva on Letterman but he must have been in on the joke when his steamer went haywire. They added a plate underneath the thing that rigged the machine to blow. Dave keeps talking over him, says his steamer is too expensive, and then Simmons points out that Dave’s tie cost $125. It’s pretty amusing.

I love Richard Simmons, he is so weird.

Dave seems irked when he drops by. But far and wide, he’s his favorite guest. Years ago, Dave used a fire extinguisher to defuse this “hot flamer”. He seems to have a “man crush” on Dave.

Honestly, Richard Simmons is my favorite gay man ever.

I’m so glad other people like Richard. He has been amusing me for years. I compare him to Clay- they’re both so gay.

Except Clay stays in the closet so you’re not allowed any innuendo in his presence, which is uncomfortable. Richard is honest and out and proud. Which is why I think Clay should come out already. It would label him as an honest, secure human, like Richard Simmons, instead of a paranoid false front. It makes other people far more uncomfortable not coming out than it does to just admit it. Not that many people care about gayness anymore. The world is realizing that gays don’t have cooties. Being gay and paranoid about it makes everybody uncomfortable.
