These are a few photos from Spike TV’s “Guys Choice” Awards over the weekend. The award show doesn’t actually air until next weekend – the 9th, to be exact. We don’t have photos from the stage or anything, but there was a half-assed red carpet and some decent people showed up. Take Mila Kunis, seen here in a little black Lanvin dress. It seems like a pretty and boring LBD – almost like it wants to be a mullet dress but can’t really commit to it.
We discussed Mila last week when we had new photos of her on the New York set of Blood Ties, with Clive Owen. I noticed (begrudgingly) that it seems like Mila has gained a little bit of weight. It looks fine on her, and maybe we (and everyone else) noticed it because Mila had lost so much weight when she was doing Black Swan, and she had a super-slim figure for a while. She’s still what I would consider “slim” and “insanely beautiful”. I’m not criticizing her, for the love of God. I’m merely pointing out something obvious – she’s gained a little weight. And you can really see it on her face, right? I’m still considering the possibility that she’s carrying an Ashton Kutcher douche-baby too.
Here’s Kristen Bell and Dax Shepherd. Bell wore Jenny Packham. It’s all kind of… eh. I don’t think it’s the right color for her, but whatever.
That Game of Thrones cutie Kit Harington was there. He plays John Snow. He’s beautiful. I want.
And here’s Malin Akerman (in Armani) and Julianne Hough (in Michael Kors). They’re both in Rock of Ages. And both look kind of strung out.

Mila’s hair and make-up is gorgeous. This blonde has major brunette envy. Her hair is so beautiful and I love the red highlights.
I’m a brunette I keep trying to get her color but they never get the highlights quite right.
Don’t love the dress, but Mila looks gorgeous.

Way way way too much eye makeup. Those two look like they’re getting ready to hit the Vegas strip. Was it mandatory that eveyone wear black? Mila is gorge but I agree about the bitchface. Her smile is one of her best features!
I don’t think JH has too much make up on… in fact, if I cover up Malin in that photo, I think Julianne looks pretty… maybe trying to be a little too sexy, but no where near Vegas strip material.

Mila…The dress honestly looks like someone picked up scraps from the floor & sewed them together for a rush job at the last minute. The bottom is just a tragedy in design, let alone not fitting to her figure.

How come the women have to wear skimpy dresses and sky-high heels, along with styled hair and makeup, while the men show up in jeans, sneakers and unshaven? The men look like crap. At least attempt to make an effort to attend a public event. The gender inequality in Hollywood is well-represented here.

Mila Kunis has put on weight and it’s not a good look on her. You can see it in her face, arms and legs. Her face is downright pudgy. I’m wondering if that’s why she wore black, to try and look a bit thinner.

Fact : she lost weight for Black Swan. Then she gained it back. Then she gained some more.
It’s not an issue it’s facts, you can see it, it’s there.
Is she still beautiful? yes, of course! Does she look better thinner? Yes, thin as in Black Swan ? Id prefer not that thin but her usual slender self pre Black Swan.
It’s a struggle for women, to keep their weight in check — working out, eating right, portion sizes etc, there are very few ( and yes I know they will come out in droves on here) who can eat fast food daily, never work out and still look like a thin fashion model but it’s not reality for most.

Saying she looks good or ok at a higher, chubby weight will not make it better for her, you, any celebs, or normal people out there. Will it cause eating disorders? I doubt it, most likely it causes weight gain .. people can’t attain that level of perfection and eat, don’t work out enough but most people out there in the world will NOT get anorexia from seeing celebs or anyone else be thin/slender.
The fact is obesity is on the rise and getting higher every year — there are more obese people out there than anorexics. Are both issues ? Yes but everyone time some celeb gains weight there is such a flood of comments that ” she looks good! shes fine! shes not fat! ” When they are getting fat and they don’t look as good as they did, they might look ok or fine but … be honest. Saying someone who should lose weight or looks better without that extra weight and everyone says they look great /fine! / perfect is a lie. Average is not always HEALTHY .. if a size 20 suddenly became average is that ok?? One day it will and then where will we be?

Why do you think they’ll come out in droves here? Because people are being dishonest? In such (real) cases, genetics are to blame, providing faster metabolisms. But most still have regular body types & have *fat* places like everyone else. (I have thighs & an ass, As opposed to models who are too skinny.)

I made a comment about liking the effect the slight weight gain had on her face… Because I like the effect the weight gain has had on her face. I think it’s just as pretty as it was before, & wouldn’t lie. But If someone needs to lose weight, I have no problem saying it.
But your comment makes it sound (correct me if I’m wrong) like I (& any other positive comment regarding weight) have to be lying, because you disagree, which means they’re fat, or on their way to it, which means they can’t possibly be attractive.(They should be ashamed & get on that treadmill, stat! Once I’m finished with it, I mean.)

She is perfectly healthy as she is, a healthy weight, but you’d “prefer” her to be thinner. Well, let me just say thankyou. Thanks for under-scoring and encouraging what is pretty much at the core of women’s extreme body issues in 2012.
Did not look at the pictures or read the text. Only came on here to protest the existence of an award show for guys that includes a category that ‘rates’ women. It’s so sexist. Why can’t they have a guys choice awards that’s all about hot rods [no pun intended], actually pun very much intended and leave us women out of it!
…You do have a very good point. Does it even have a female counterpart? (I don’t keep up with these sorts of things, so I honestly have no clue if there’s a ‘Women’s choice’ awards show.)
Although we (in general) regularly rate celebrity’s ‘hotness’ or ‘notness’, be it here, in magazines, or whatever. So are probably just as guilty of being sexist judging guys in most cases.

It is true, & something I’d not really thought about before, that these women in Hollywood *do* choose to show up for these awards.
We know how appearance-conscious Hollywood is to begin with, so honestly, it shouldn’t seem that strange (now that I think about it) that they would be ‘okay’ with being judged/rated for it. & even more willing to be told (via some award) that they’re better than someone else in the *1* thing they all have to care about (more than anything, including talent), in order to be successful. standard of measure is a problem. men have standardise female parts, so they can rate women’s body parts. Women are more discerning, subjective and all about personality.
Perhaps we should start with the Ken doll as a standard for men’s parts, but also include perceived personality traits eg ken doll face but brooding personality [this would cover all those pseudo James Dean wannabes like James Franco] or Ken doll Face, not much else, Ken doll face but dark and twisted personality flip side would be Mr Congeniality. Hottest of the century would be an open internet vote after nominations criteria based upon person whose pr can bribe us best – personally, use of private plane for rest of my life would do it, therefore i nominate Leo di Caprio for the first year. Mila looks a ton slimmer here than just a few days ago-must be to do with the type of camera lens. I wonder what is closer to how she looks in real life?
I used to believe the camera added 10 pounds thing, until I saw Keira Knightley onstage and thought she looked decidedly *heavier* in real life than how she photographs. Weird.
Mila looked slimmer in some pics with that horrid Ashton a few weeks before the set pics too. She may be purposely dowdy on that set.

I think Mila is beautiful, and if she has gained weight, her body looks fine. Her face is looking more round than usual to me though… so maybe the extra couple of pounds are in her face? Still gorgeous though!
