Yikes! She could sweep the floor with those things!

I was thinking “No she doesn’t!” but then I clicked on the larger picture and realized they were hanging below frame.

She changed her daughters name within days after adopting her, not a year.

Daycare? That is the airport in Hawaii.

    Check facts before posting, please.

So this post kind of bugs me because it drives home how f’ed up and patriarchal North American beauty standards are. After a certain age, all of us give way to gravity and instead of just embracing that and admitting that bodies change, we have to say “hike it up, girl. That ain’t pretty.” I know that she’s a celebrity and people expect a lot from her so that they can continue to love/hate her, but if I left my home right now without a bra, people would make comments behind my back too. Bra-less is just so much more comfortable and I resent that women are always expected to look their best. I know it will never happen, but I just wish our society would loose it’s image-obsession and focus on the value of people.

Apologies for exposing you all to my soapbox.

Very good points, julie. I agree with most of them, but it’s actually more ladylike and comfortable to just wear a little sports or sleep bra or shelf under your breasts, holding you down and keeping your skin from sagging, stretching more, and bouncing as badly. Not to mention a bit of good grooming and discretion for the eyes is always a good idea. Of course, in LA, people seem to try to outdo each other at what they can get away with in public using the fugly factor.

Also, I’m sorry she got that facial surgery. Her smile went from extremely cute to ?? Whoever twigs how to fix the “trout pout” should make a fortune.

i think its uncomfortable to not wear a bra and im still young and don’t sag — yet! I always wear a bra except when i wear a shirt that is supportive enough on its own. But i don’t mind if meg wants to run around without one… but they certainly do look kinda bad in that pic.

    Shaggy, baggy and saggy.

  8. Mr. T says:

I’d still hit it with her.

Wearing a bra or even a tighter camisole underneath the sweater would make her look MUCH better. It’s not about a standard of beauty (size and shape would be) but about comfort of people around you. I would never expose someone to the view of my untamed breasts and nipples–it’s distracting and slovenly unless you’re home and you don’t care who sees you and if you breasts start to sag. Wearing a bra is actually more comfortable (if the bra is soft and fits well) than not wearing a bra unless you’re very flat-chested. Should we also say that using a comb and wearing clean clothes means you’re a slave to beauty? Breasts without a bra in a public space is just too much information for me.

It looks like she’s smuggling two bananas.

I disagree, Kailie2, we see lots of shots of these celebrities braless and as long as their boobies are high and perky no one ever questions it, instead they are held up as what we should all try to be. People are very comfortable with semi-clad boobs as long as they’re pretty

I’m sorry but you won’t see a hispanic women with her boobs hanging down like that unless she’s a crack head. We have too much pride and respect for our selves. It’s always some white person doing this. These stars pap’s are taking shot of them. Why do we need to see that nasty stuff?

Racist much. But of course not — white people are fair game.

I think it’s much more comfortable to wear a bra than not wear one. I think the reason society doesn’t mind seeing small high boobs is because they aren’t bouncing all over the place and swaying side to side (since there’s not enough there to move around a lot). It’s all about ‘holding still’ really. Who wants to see these things jingle jangle as we walk down the street? Not me.

  15. MARY MACK says:

I wish there was a definitive answer about whether a bra makes for less or more sagging. I found an article on the net where the bra support atrophies the natural muscle support so that removing a bra, there is a more sagging from having had it on. I definitely agree that a bra always looks better even if you are not sagging but no, I have never found them to be comfortable. Sagging is a really terrible psychout but the people who criticize it in others really have no right to do so.

I really wish Meg would take more of an interest in herself and cut her hair in a cute style and wear a bra. She is absolutely beautiful, she is my favorite celebrity and I truly admire her.

  17. Arlene says:

Does anyone know where I could purchase a necklace like that?
