I’m not sure what to think of the trailers for The Words. I think if different actors were involved in the story – which seems to span decades, and involve a stolen manuscript and several interwoven love stories – I would find the whole thing more appealing. But the cast for the film just seems kind of funky, and it doesn’t give me a lot of hope that the script is any good. I mean, Bradley Cooper is the lead! And his leading ladies are Zoe Saldana and Olivia Wilde. Jeremy Irons is in the mix too, and while I love Irons’ work (Reversal of Fortune is one of my favorite films), the last time Irons did anything noteworthy, it was because he was talking about how much he loves to grope the asses of every lady he meets. So…. here are the photos from last night’s Hollywood premiere. Olivia Wilde didn’t even come to the premiere, which is weird because she goes to the opening of an envelope. So Zoe Saldana was the big “fashion girl” on the carpet – and she wore Elie Saab Fall 2012. I like the dress in general, and my favorite part is the open back. But I think the color is “off” on Zoe. A shade darker or lighter, and this would have been stunning, but in most of these pics, it’s reading as beige-y pea-soup instead of gold.
Zoe had to pose with her ex-boyfriend (cough) Bradley Cooper on the red carpet too. Boy, the stories she could tell about that man. Stories like… how much fun it is to hang out with B.Coop’s mom, because that seemed to be all Zoe did when she dated Bradley. Bradley looks okay here – not “Sexiest Man Alive” or anything, but nice enough. Emu-ish and vest-y but presentable. As for Ass-Grope Irons, his outfit is cray. It’s like he wanted to wear skinny jeans tucked into his boots, but he didn’t know how to put that look together.

Was Jeremy Irons going mountain hiking after the premiere? Zoe looks ok but your right it’s the wrong tone for her skin colour and you can tell right away who designed it. I never thought Brad ever deserved Sexiest Man Alive not over Ryan Gosling and he really has proven that. Sounds like a dud when Olivia Wilde won’t show you know it must really suck.

He was wonderful in The Hollow Crown: Henry IV as well. But to me, he will always be Charles Ryder from Bridesheaf Revisited.
First, I don’t know what people see in her. Second, I can see her underwear through that dress. It’s probably on purpose, but I still think it’s tacky. I’d prefer an “underwearless” look than seeing her white knickers underneath.
Yes, I don’t understand the appeal to leotards under dress’s. I think it is is far from sexy on any woman.
Iron man has gotten whackier with each passing year, he or his outfit do nothing to endear him to me.

I was wondering why in many pictures of “celebrities” I was having to look at their underwear as well.That is one trend that can disappear with no argument from me,that’s for sure.

I love looking at pictures of Zoe Saldana. Yikes, though, how tiny must she be in person? I bet I could pick her up with one arm. I know she has a background in ballet. Remember her in Center Stage? One of my favorite movies ever!

She’s such a stunning girl, not sure if it’s the heavy wingtip eyeliner or what but her cheeks appear pudgier, think it’s her makeup. She does have a models body and agree w/ the two previous posters she looks like a young Diana Ross.

Also, her eyeliner is way too thick. It reminds me of the mornings I was running late in high school and thought it was a great idea to do my makeup on the bus.
This is sort of a weird comment, because I have tattoos on my feet, but I hate seeing a pretty actress all glitzy and dazzling, and then the look is ruined by tacky foot tattoos. It’s all I can see. What the heck is on her right foot? Squiggles? Words? Sideways seagulls (like you draw in kindergarten)? Meh.
My foot tattoos are, of course, both glamourous and not at all tacky or distracting. Because I’m super fancy.
Why wasn’t Ben Barnes in the credits at the end of the trailer?

I wish I could find the video where Joel McHale mocks Irons during The 69th Golden Globes (2012). He presented along with Aida Takla-O’Reilly (Hollywood Foreign Press Association’s current president) — and she looks visibly uncomfortable when he starts pulling her towards him.

They are trying to make Bradley Cooper something he isnt and he’s not. He would excel better by just taking the lead supporting role in comedies or dramadies.
Color and the sheer part around the crotch area bug me…other than that it looks pretty.
I know she has always been, but lawd, she look painfully thin. I wanna give her a hamburger. She’s still very beautiful and I love that dress. I’m kinda glad Olivia didn’t show up… I can’t co-sign her hype. ALTHOUGH, she would have probably worn something awful (like usual) that would have given us something to really talk about. Don’t even get me started with what Mr. Irons is wearing…???!!! I’m intrigued by the storyline of this movie.

I was at the premiere and saw the movie, and let me say, the movie is GOOD. Story within a story within a story, with a good ending. What is truth, what is fiction? I didn’t see these stars but we did see JK Simmons and Ben Barnes (better! lol)

Zoe looks like she’s a nice woman, hopefully. However, I also think her dress color is not flattering to her skin tone, too yellow, but maybe it’s more gold than yellow? Shoes don’t seem to go with the dress, but maybe the color is off online.
I am still traumatized on the fugly clothes Jeremy and Bradley picked out. I love Jeremy too but I think he’s starting his dotage years early. Zoe looks beautiful. She is so delicate and beautiful.
