Denise Richards doesn’t have a whole lot going for her. Sure, if you take away her personality and just look at a picture of her, she’s nice enough to look at. But that’s it – and that can only get you so far. Especially when you have the reputation of being somewhat psycho and enjoy going to ridiculous lengths to slam your ex in public.
According to the Chicago Sun-Times, Denise knows she doesn’t have much going in the career department, and now that her E! reality show is going to be canceled, she’s getting desperate. So much so, that she’s willing to do anything short of “pure porn.” Which implies that things which are just sorta porn might be fine.
When it comes to stardom, it seems certain celebs will do anything to keep themselves in the public eye. A couple of Hollywood insiders close to Denise Richards are telling me the former Downers Grove resident worries her D-list kind of career will be over for good once her E! reality show ”Denise Richards: It’s Complicated” comes to a close.
Supposedly, Richards is so concerned about her professional future, ”she’s willing to do just about anything and take any role that’s not pure porn,” says a longtime pal. Besides her dismal reality show, Richards’ recent film projects have been clearly forgettable little comedies yet to find distribution, and ”Blonde and Blonder” (that only made back a few thousand dollars on its modest $8 million budget), and the upcoming Bollywood flick ”Incredible Love,” notable for being shot in Hollywood and featuring cameos by Arnold Schwarzenegger, Sylvester Stallone and ”Superman Returns” star Brandon Routh.
“[Ex-husband] Charlie Sheen is clearly loving all this,” said one of the sources, who quipped, ”I expect we’ll soon see Denise as a future victim in the umpteenth ‘Saw’ sequel.”

It’s obviously not really about Denise’s “professional future,” or she wouldn’t be willing to do absolutely any project. Doing crap won’t help her career. It will, however, get her some money, which is presumably the ultimate point. And she’s got a lot of mouths to feed besides her two young daughters. Denise has over twenty dogs, along with three pigs, five cats, and several guinea pigs. I think she might want to reconsider her stance on “pure porn.” Lest the guinea pigs go hungry.

She let her ego dictate and once the golden goose was divorced, there was nothing left, i feel badly for her that she still thinks she is something that she is not, must be a hard fall…

Girl really, REALLY needs to re-home the majority of those animals. No way she can give them the kind of care and attention they need, especially with tight finances. Pets are a luxury and one she can’t afford right now. As a vet, I see far too many people just collecting pets without regard to the fact that they cannot afford to care for them!!
She an still do photo-shoots or marry another rich jerkwad and then divorce him after having his kid so she can use him for money leverage. Whatever works best.
It bugs me immensely that the media and public is so mean (cruel even) to her.
I think she needs to downsize her lifestyle starting with the animals. Then get an acting coach and start again. Building her credibility as an actress is going to be a loooooong road
There’s a little strip of road here where a lot of women work and earn a fairly good living, and she’d probably be good at it.

I’m not saying she hasn’t made bad choices but any man who revels in the downward spiral of the mother of his children doesn’t deserve to be called a man. What’s tragic about this is that there are children involved and these little girls are hardly being shown good role models. I’m so tired of the narcissism of some celebrity parents.
EDIT: Also, Sheen has done his fair share of slamming his ex in public so it’s hardly a one way thing. He just happens to be a man, so of course he’s not a psycho. And of course his stripper/call girl addiction doesn’t get called into play. No, he gets a career on one of the biggest hit shows on TV and a massive paycheck while deriding the mother of his kids…
I havew read nothing that Sheen has said about being happy his ex is having hard times. Just bvecause someone says he is lvoing it doesn;t mean it is true.
Denise bought this on herself. She cannot act, she married Sheen poped out 2 kids after he said he didnt want he to have and then divorced him thinking she was going to get millions and she didn’t. She gets huge money for child support from Sheen but she can’t live on it because she cannot manage money.
If she had not accused him of molesting those kids nand everything else she did to nmake his life a living hell he would probably be helping her out. She also has a house she canot afford and pets are way too many and if she can’t feed those animals she neds to get rid of them before her kids have no food. Sheen will take those kids the minute he finds out she cannot support them.
@doodahs… i hear what you’re saying about Sheen but in his defence he has a reputation for being able to ACT and while his show’s a huge hit, it’s not exactly good or sharp comedy. Good shows tend to get cancelled.
Doesn’t she receive five figures a month from Sheen? She’s can’t live on that?
Anne: I was thinking the same thing. She must be getting SOMETHING from Charlie. Of course, it’s obviously not enough to fund her lavish lifestyle on its own, and that’s why she’s willing to be a chicken head for some supplemental cash.

Take what money you have left and get a frikkin education. But I guess expecting her to go out and do real work is too much to ask; it’s so much easier to just take off your clothes and collect the check.

Thumbsucking and insecurities? Nah! I sucked my thumb until I was about 12!!! My life was perfect as a child. I have 2 very loving parents who are still totally in love and I have a beautiful older brother who has always treated me like a princess. I just loved sucking my thumb. I still wake up when I am sick with it in my mouth!!!! AND im now 34!!!!! I just like it. Simple!
Those kids look absolutely miserable and withdrawn. Poor things.
Thumb sucking is fairly normal in young children but in the case of these two, they are repeatedly photographed with angry and/or upset/sad expressions on their faces AND sucking their thumbs which makes the action look 10 times worse. I don’t give a damn about this woman’s ability to earn or not earn enough money to support her unrealistic lifestyle. I do care about the fact that these two obviously dysfunctional children are being thrown in front of the cameras every chance Denise gets. They obviously hate it and want no part of it. Leave them at home where they belong!!

When I had only seen pictures of her, I thought she was really beautiful, but, after catching a bit of her E! show, she is nasty. It’s amazing to me that a person’s looks change so much in my mind when they have that ugly personality. She had it made w/ Martin Sheen being so supportive until she pushed too far. She shld. be able to live comfortably on the spousal/child support. Her childres aren’t even in school yet.
