Occasionally, E! will air a marathon of Ice Loves Coco, and I get sucked into it. It’s not that Ice-T and Coco are super-interesting people or anything… as a matter of fact, I think they seem pretty normal and down-to-earth about most things, which is probably why so many people get sucked into the show. They have a good marriage and they love each other so much, so the “drama” of the TV show basically follows this formula: Coco gets into something, Coco freaks out, Ice calms her down and gives her good advice, and Coco triumphs. Rinse and repeat.
Well, Coco got into something, and instead of being her rock, Ice was the one freaking out. Coco was performing at a “revue” in Las Vegas, and she was partying with people afterwards. That’s where she met a rapper named AP.9. Coco and AP.9 posed for some sexy photos together – go to Media Takeout to see. The pics… well, they aren’t “OMG CHEATING” but they definitely crossed a line of “good judgment” and “being respectful to her marriage and to her husband.” And when Ice saw them, he freaked.
Ice-T is having a meltdown about pictures of his wife, Coco, kissing another rapper! And now the married stars of the E! reality show Ice Loves Coco might be on thin ice after photos have surfaced on MediaTakeOut.com of Coco looking cozy with rapper AP.9. In the sexy pictures, taken in Las Vegas where Coco performs in the topless revue, Peepshow, the buxom blonde kisses AP.9 on the side of the face and the rapper nuzzles her neck.
Ice-T, who wasn’t with his wife in Vegas, hit the roof over the photos, Tweeting, “Most of them disrespectful and in bad taste. She’s made me look..And feel like s—.”
The reality show star, who later deleted his Tweets, had also turned to Twitter to call Coco’s actions “misconduct,” not fitting for a married woman. Ice-T also dissed AP.9, saying he didn’t know who he was.
Ice-T raged about his wife’s playful behavior with another man: “Don’t get it twisted…I’m not happy about this s—.”
He signed off of the Twitter topic by telling fans to ask Coco about the incident. She responded on Twitter “Ice is right, the pics I took with this man were in poor taste & I disrespected my husband however the pics were the only thing that happened.” She reiterated the point later, tweeting, “please guys I’m happily married, sometimes fans & friends take silly pics it’s harmless.”
Later Coco sighed via Twitter, “I feel so sad the bottom line is I love Ice & can understand why he’s upset there’s no excuse for my actions. I’m so sorry baby.”
The couple, who renewed their wedding vows last year at a big Hollywood party to mark their ten-year anniversary, recently appeared to be thinking about having a family. As RadarOnline.com reported, Coco, 33, told Ice-T on their show she wants to freeze her eggs so she can have a baby with him later.
Do I think that this is the kind of thing that will end Ice and Coco’s marriage? No. I really do think their marriage is a lot stronger than people think, and it can withstand this incident. Ice is going to be pissed for a little while, but he’ll forgive her because (I believe) Coco knows it was wrong and she’ll do anything to make her marriage work. Ice is her world. He is her rock, and she is the love of his life. GAH! I can’t believe I’m getting so emotional about this. Fine, I’ll admit it: I love Ice and Coco. If they break up, I’ll cry.

Ditto. I think it’s disrespectful to her husband to post nudies/half nudies all over the Internet, so I don’t understand why he’s just now getting upset?
In his mind, its not disrepectful for her to be attractive, or for other men to want her- cos then he has something that no one else does and feels pride (ie nude pics of her all around). But, if SHE wants another MAN, then its a no-no.

I agree. I think he takes issue with the fact that in each picture, somebody’s got their eyes closed, lips stuck out for a kiss, and they were closely nuzzling.

This is why I hope it’s just a publicity stunt. I usually don’t care about anything that has to do with reality shows, but I would be weirdly, illogically sad if they broke up lol.

I agree – the apology is the real thing, saying I screwed up and I’m sorry. I don’t like her pumped up boobs and ass or her non-stop display of these but – it’s a good apology and she always seemed like a very authentic person to me (other than the silly implants). Good for her.
And yet he’s not bothered about her topless performance on stage in Peepshow? The role one of Hefner’s prost- er, girlfriends took after leaving the Playboy Mansion? Interesting… But I really do expect better of Ice. Maybe he just had a bad day.
Sometimes the oddest couples can be the strongest. Ice and Coco, Mariah and Nick Cannon. It really is about love and respect, so many other celebrity couples with so many things in common and like interests fail because of the lack of love and respect.

They probably blew this up for attention. OR he’s really upset because he wasn’t there to supervise her “silly ho” activities. Those pics don’t seem any less appropriate than 80% of pics she takes with other people….why is he mad that she’s trained to act like that and does it when he’s not around.

I can’t really argue against her age (never really followed her to know) but whenever I think someone’s lying about their age I think of Gaga and how OLDDD in the face she looks for 20 something.
She’s 33. She spent some time in Albuquerque as a kid and was in my little brother’s class (I think it was 7th grade). He’s 33 so she is too. I never knew her but he said she was a really sweet little girl.
Coco has to be at least 43, not 33. Ice T is in his mid-50s and she does not look much younger than him, really. …And I agree that this controversy is fake, trying to drum up interest in their reality show.

While I DO think that she goes overboard with her half naked pics, that doesn’t make her a “hoe”. Watching the show the few times that I have, she seems really sweet and they both seem to love each other dearly. I love the scenes with them and their dogs. Unlike other reality couples, they seem really genuine.
If they break up then I will simply stop believing in love. Fact. I love them 😛
I truly believe the tone & wording of Coco’s apology are entirely sincere. She’s always been one of those boozy/wild & overtly physically affectionate types… & this time she obviously got carried away.
Ice had every right to be upset, but I don’t see this ending their relationship. At least I truly hope not, they really seem to adore eachother, & are so adorable. I’d probably cry if they broke up. (I KNOW, I don’t know why, either! They just got to me somehow, dammit)
When the rest of your read Ice’s tweets, do you always hear them in his Ice-T voice? LOL. When I read a celeb tweet, usually I just read it. Whenever I read HIS, I hear it in his voice.
She’s wearing different outfits in 3 of the pics with the same guy. That doesn’t look good. But I’d buy into the PR theory.

You and Coco play with fire every time Coco is in public with all her stuff hanging out. Her job is to be half naked, and you both agreed to that career choice. Seems to me that this behavior follows the same path.I am not being mean here, as I actually am a fan. It’s true, Ice-T has to understand that he’s accepting certain risks when he allows Coco to have the sort of ‘job’ (& personality along with her appearance) that she does.
Personally, I think Ice is proud for other people to see Coco’s goods on display (at least in a ‘work/certain environment’ with rules regarding personal conduct)… Because he wants other people/guys to see what ‘belongs to him’ (figuratively speaking). Is proud to be with her, & that she is with him.
Unfortunately there are common sense negatives that come with this sort of environment too, obviously. He also knows her personality, which creates even more concerns.
I really hope this doesnt’ turn into something serious.

seriously? allows?! This isn’t the 1950’s doll, we women can make our own choices, walk our own paths and do what we want. Sure I would consult with my partner but I would never ever be controlled by him.
I apologize, the meaning you perceived from my wording were definitely not what I intended. My choice of words could’ve been better in regards to ‘allows’.
I only meant he’s fully aware of what her ‘entertainment career’ entails, but didn’t allow it to end his relationship… meaning he ‘allowed/accepted/tolerated’ her overtly public ‘over-sexed’ exaggerated behavior with others…as an acceptable part of his marriage.
Definitely *not* saying that he’s her superior or should be dictating what she can & can’t do or making her decisions for her about *anything*.

She’s been looking bored for awhile. The pictures look like cheating to me. Maybe she’s retaliating for something Ice-T did? Those pictures are grounds for divorce!
I don’t think the pictures look THAT bad for her. Granted, they’re not great and I can see why Ice was not happy, but, as others mentioned, she gave a sincere apology and that should close the issue for both of them. I hate that ho and housewife quotation, for sure. What would the equivalent be for a man? Oh yeah, there IS no equivalent.

Yeah…I was kind of hoping they were just playful pics, but then I saw them. I can understand why Ice flipped out.
Oy vey, just checked out the pics and I can totally understand why Ice is pissed. It’s not that they’re doing anything terribly inappropriate – it’s the body language and the expression on her face! Very much the cat that ate the canary – those two know each other well, maybe really well based on what I’m seeing.
I also think Ice is a bit naive to assume the hyper-sexual wife who spends every waking moment trying to promote the sexy is not going to take that sexy on the road – especially if she feels less than completely adored at home. She’s clearly a woman who craves a ton of attention.
This is about as real as their reality show. I can just see the two of them plotting it out.
I used to really like Ice and Coco (and used to follow her on twitter), but after trying to watch their show, my affinity for them has greatly diminished. The situations are so obviously contrived, I can’t even watch.
I think I liked their relationship better when they weren’t selling it and to me this “OMG, Ice is JEALOUS” bit is a just a continuation of that.
