Because I thought FOR SURE Sparkles was over it and he wanted to dump her, but it looks like they’re still hanging out and spending a lot of time together. But here is the most bizarre twist I’ve ever heard: is Kristen also spending time with Lindsay Lohan?!!? Page Six claims Lindsay Lohan “has found an unlikely ally” with Kristen and LL has been chilling out with Sparkles and K-Stew lately.

For the love of God. I’m going to give Kristen some credit here – I try to do that ocassionally! – and say that this Page Six story comes entirely from Camp Crackie and that this is Lindsay’s cracked-out interpretation of Kristen maybe saying hello to Lindsay once in passing. I really don’t think Kristen or Rob would want to spend any significant time with the Titanic cracktastrophe that is Lindsay Lohan. AT ALL. This is probably what happened: Lindsay heard that Kristen and Rob were at some club or something, so she crack-stalked them and “showed up”. As soon as K-Stew and Rob saw that she was there, they left, barely exchanging pleasantries beyond “Hey.” And somehow that became “Lindsay and Kristen discussed their careers, creative ideas and how they deal with living under the focus of the media and the paparazzi” in someone’s crack-addled mind.

Her assistant said both Rob & Kristen planned his birthday party recently, and they’ve been papped with him, so I think there could be more truth to this than people would like to believe.
That former assisitant of hers is a big time name dropper. I believe his father is some kind of media bigwig, so they may know people in common. I’d guess they just happened to be at the restaurant where he was celebrating his birthday, which in his mind became them sharing his birthday with him.
I just can’t see them hanging with Lohan and her crew. Even if they lost their minds and considered it, I’m sure their teams would put a stop to it.
I read this article, and you have exaggerated this beyond reality. Rob and Kristen happened to be at the same bar in NY that he was having his birthday party at, and they had a conversation. This is hardly the same thing as you are insinuating. This Gavin guy likes to name drop.
Same thing as last year, when Lohan showed up at the club opening that Rob was at, suddenly they are best friends, because they happen to be at the same place. NO one wants to be associated with her.

I remember when Kristen and Robert were photographed after the scandal at a restaurant with a bunch of friends a lot of Sparkles fans were screaming that they were hanging out with one of Lindsay’s close friend.
Again, that doesn’t mean Lohan hangs out with them. My closest friend (and former sister-in-law) is friends with Adrien Brody and Zooey Deschanel. I’ve never hung out with them.

It’s very difficult to learn different behavior patterns, or to “grow up” when you have no idea what normative behavior is… it can take years of therapy and a lot of hard work, especially for ongoing abuse from one’s parents since a very young age.

She has been to rehab many times. People did try and help her, over and over and over. Also, most people don’t need to be taught how to be human.
Oh, dear, more simplistic solutions. She’s been working since she was very young, and very likely been the breadwinner for her “family”. From what I’ve read about her over many years, I’d say her parents were less-than-perfect caregivers (with all that this term encompasses) and really rather neglectful. Neglect can have devastating effects on one’s development, including cognitively. A month or two in rehab now and then simply cannot overturn the long-term damage one suffers as a child. This is why even the successful graduates of rehab centres continue to take their lives one day at a time, for the rest of their lives. They understand that even though rehab might have helped them kick a habit, it in no way fixes all the other damage in their lives which impacts their relationships, decision making, earning ability, work life, planning and potential for the future, and so many other things. Offering inane advice to “grow up” or “keep yourself together” is unhelpful and insulting. Ms Lohan is a sad, damaged and unhappy human being, who has no idea about “pulling herself together”.
She is a very sad story, as much as I loathe some of her behavior I can’t help but pity her whenever her parents open their mouths.

Kristen made some comment in an interview years ago, talking about how great her family is, and how they support her and kept her out of serious trouble as a young kid in the industry. She said she was so thankful for this and how sad it was for kids like Lindsey Lohan who get lost because they don’t have that strong family support.
If Kristen did actually speak personally with Lindsey recently, I would think it was out of pity, not an interest in becoming friends.
Kristen’s mother is a hanger on and a loser, hitting up her daughter for cash for her movies, her new boyfriend and her mid life crisis. Lainey had a blind item about it, and Lainey is all about Team KStew.
Stewart’s mother gave interviews to US Weekly (you know, the publication who outed her daughter’s affair) and the LA Times, name dropping her daughter every where and essentially sounding bitter and jealous of her own kid.

she was not working and making that money modeling and acting like lindsay was from early childhood. Just different situations, with Dina Lohan being the grossest of all stage moms. It sounds like Kristen’s mom started getting more demanding once her kid was an established star and her name gave her a window of opportunity for career advancement, which coincided with her divorce. Sucks what she’s doing to her kid now, but Kristen was not funding her parents the way Dina was living off Lindsay as a kid. Kristen’s parents both had good, well-paying jobs and were already living a nice life in the valley. Her mom’s midlife crisis definitely sounds expensive though.

I used to be proud of Rob and Kristen and hoped they’d have strong careers after Twilight. But their actions post-scandal have opened my eyes to the people they truly are: someone who does whatever she wants with no regard for the lives of others (Kristen) or someone so lacking in dignity and self-respect that he would continue to associate with someone who publicly humiliated and emasculated him (Rob).

Perry and Stewart are friends, so I’m sure there is a vague connection there. However, I do remember reading way back in the day that Cracken’s publicist dropped her cold after the DUIs/disaster film shoots and that it was brutal. That same publicist has been KStew’s for a long time and is friends with KStew…I doubt Cracken has good feelings about the publicist so I’m not sure why she’d be hanging around one of her closest clients. At least Lindsay used to have talent. But this pairing doesn’t strike me as strange. Kristen is a loser and Linds is a scumbag. And come to think of it, Kristen looks a bit like Samantha Ronson.
if lindsay had any talent it would have been apparent by now. RDJ was a hard core druggie but he never lost his talent. As much as I dislike Kirstin and don’t think of her as a good actress, compared to Lindsay she is like Meryl Streep.
It’s not actually that far-fetched – cracken is friends with Katy Perry (I think through this Gavin) and Katy is tight with Though Katy doesn’t exactly publicize this friendship, for obvious reasons.
If they have friends in common why is this story so hard to believe?
It’s not that hard to believe and apparently that is leading to a lot of hand wringing and angst.
Rob and Kristen’s sane publicists must be tearing their hair out now. “Robsten”, especially Kristen, is barely recovering from the cheating scandal. They are supposedly hanging out with a scandal magnet like Lohan? Lindsay can list LA County Jail as a legal residence on her tax returns she’s been there so often. Birds of a feather I guess. If Rob and Kristen have more dirt that has not surfaced, there’s a good chance it will come out with hanging with Lohan.
Robert doesn’t have a publicist, and I doubt anyone would take that job right now, his public image is a mess.
Um, he might not have an “official” publicist but he definitely has someone doing publicity for him. As pointed out above, he has friends that are tight with Cracken and that rarely comes out. Both he, KStew, and Katy Perry are also friendly with Lilo’s ex-assistant (who has even abandoned linnocent). That said, even Michael K doesn’t buy this story.
While I buy KStew used PR after the scandal, I really don’t buy the narrative that she is a PR hound (mostly because the situations make no sense…like when she’s being accused of sleeping with a girl, she plays baseball and hangs out with her very butch friends and gay friends).
That said, this would be the PERFECT time for both of them to stage a photo shoot. Get papped at dinner with Katy Perry or something along those lines. Even though this is a story that will blow over in a few days, a celeb doesn’t ever want to be associated with a Cracken in even the slightest of ways.
After his interview with John Stewart, where he mentioned he didn’t have a publicist, the Hollywood Reporter printed an article saying that every PR firm in town was trying to meet with him.

Sean Penn beat and raped Madonna, Terrence Howard beat his ex, Jude and his one night stand baby and affair, Shia’s a complete psycho, etc…Hollywood isn’t going to give a crap that Rob’s girlfriend cheated on him nearly year ago and that he got back with her…especially considering that Rob was the wronged one. Men can say and do pretty much anything in the industry, and most male movie goers don’t give a crap about the star’s personal life. Also, the dude isn’t trying to be an action hero or anything of that sorts, which is when they have to somewhat sell themselves to the mini-van majority and that matters.
That said, both of them need to separate their image from Twilight…and it’s going to take more than a few good indie films. They (mostly Kristen but Rob too) also need to get Hollywood Life and Radar and the trashier rags (the ones that make US Weekly almost look classy) to leave them alone. A good publicist would strike some sort of deal with those publications to get them to lay off.
lol, Anname, his situation at the moment is very different from what it was back then. People thought he wasn’t going to take his cheating girlfriend back, she’s his biggest liability now.
They’re both jokes. Robsten is almost on par with the Kardashians as far as gossip sideshows go.
Kristen Stewart’s rep will be forever tainted. She’s the dull, sullen girl who can’t act. Who had an affair with her married director. Who always looks high and unkempt, even at the Oscars.
Pattinson is the sparkly one from Twilight. May be seen as slightly more likable than Kristen but he’s mainly seen as a wimpy lapdog with no respect. Strange looking and lacking in sex appeal. Straight men recoil just from the Twilight connection alone, much less the whole cuckold thing.
They’ll never escape Twilight. Not just because of the never ending negative press. Not just because they are always so dirty and grungy and unappealing. It’s simply because they don’t have the talent to transcend the negatives listed above.
I give them 2 more years of semi-relevancy. And that may be generous.
Let’s see, they’re both trashy and unwashed, love drugs and attention, and most definitely like the ladies. Plus Kristen looks like Sam Ronson. Perfect!
Obviously there are larger issues here, but she used to be beautiful, and she has transformed herself into a background walker from “The Walking Dead.” That PALLOR. I don’t even know how you do that to yourself.* And I live in Portland. We don’t have sun.
