Matt Damon receives the 2013 Arts Medal at Harvard: would you hit it?

It’s always a special occasion whenever CB allows me (under threat of slut-shanking if I step out of line – DON’T HURT ME!!!!) to cover anything related to her one and only Forever Dong, Matt Damon. I’m still not sure how I’m being allowed to do it today. Maybe the slut-shanking is coming and it’s a “surprise”? Anyway, these are photos of Matt Damon (sigh…) at Harvard yesterday. He was receiving the 2013 Arts Medal at the kickoff of Harvard’s Arts Festival, and he looks super-proud. I’m assuming this was organized at just the right moment ahead of Matt’s promotion of Beyond the Candelabra, the HBO film where he plays Liberace’s long-time lover. HBO will premiere the film exactly one month from today.

The other dude in these photos is John Lithgow! I wasn’t even paying attention. Lithgow hosted a one-on-one conversation with Matt for the award presentation, and the Harvard Gazette had coverage of the event here. The lady giving Matt his medal is the president of Harvard, Drew Faust.

Anyway, Matt looks super-hot these days. *looking around for slut-shank* I’ve had a thing for Matt since his Good Will Hunting days, and although my Damon love has waxed and waned over the years, his current incarnation, both physically and emotionally, is probably my favorite. He’s not a kid any more. He’s got about 20 pounds that aren’t going away. He wears glasses all the time now. He dresses like an uncool dad. And yet, I think this is the hottest he’s ever been. I would hit it. HARD. And then I would get the f—k out of there because I know CB would hunt my ass down.

Here are the trailers for Beyond the Candelabra and Matt’s other new film (coming out in August), Elysium. Matt’s going to win an Emmy for Candelebra, I’m sure.

*Sideeye* backs away while glaring. Not bad, but the hit it and quit it stuff went too far, probably because it’s true that I would hunt you down.

He does look so good now though!! Gah I love those glasses too.

    • Andrea says:

What is it about a man in glasses? It’s so damn hot.

He’s a forever for me too. I will always want to hit that.

  2. MAP says:

    yum, yumm, yummy.

    *has disturbingly real daydream about . . . *

i’m sorry, what was the question?

  3. Suze says:

I wouldn’t hit it, he’s not my sort, but I would sit down and talk with him for hours because he seems like the smartest, nicest celebrity out there. By FAR.

    • Andrea says:

I want to sit and talk to him too. I just want to do it after sex.

    • Jules says:

I don’t want to talk to him and I definitely don’t want to hit it. Gross. I think he is a total d-bag. He used to be one of my favorite actors but his political musings have turned me completely off.

  4. Chicagogurl says:

Are we seeing Jodie as the villain? She does bitch soooo well. Hello Matt arms in Elysium. He is looking hotter these days, couldn’t put my finger on it but i think its the glasses, weight and calmness (is that the right word?) he’s seemed to have gained.

  5. A says:

    I would ALWAYS hit that.

  6. fabgrrl says:

The ONLY reason I wouldn’t hit it is that Matt Damon is the spitting image of my little brother. I find him sooooo hot, which makes me feel icky :^(

  7. T.Fanty says:

Always and forever. He is a forever dong – which, I think is just as prestigious an honor as anything Harvard has to offer.

@T.Fanity, who wrote: “Always and forever. He is a forever dong – which, I think is just as prestigious an honor as anything Harvard has to offer.”

LOL!! Amen and yea, verily, yea! 🙂

    • Crumpets and Crotchshots says:

*Bursts in on a chariot drawn by hummingbirds, singing “I’m f*cking Matt Damon!”

Sexiest man evah. Yes I would, yes I would.

  8. RN says:

Intelligent, funny, kind men make me weak in the knees. Yes, I’d hit it in all four directions.

  9. oh dear says:

omg if you compare matt damon and will smith on the front page, theyre supposedly only 2 years apart in age!

i pick damon all the way lol

  10. Ginger says:

Yep! Not only is he good looking but strikes me as someone of great intelligence and humor. How could you resist?

    • Jules says:

So, sooooo easily I could resist. I like that he has enough substance not to choose a super model as his wife, and he seems to be a good family man. Hot or doable- not in a million years.

  11. Emma - the JP Lover says:

I would hit it SOOOOOOOO hard (and often), there would be nothing left for Celebitchy! 🙂

LOL!! Just kidding, CB! You know we share the Matt Damon love.

@Celebitchy, have you seen this “Entertainment Weekly” (EW.com) photo from the “Elysium” article of Matt Damon’s naked chest with tats from the film? Yawlza!

    SWOON.

I love me some Matt Damon. He is a great actor, he seems like such a devoted family man, he’s smart, great looking and interesting. And I am liking how he looks as he gets older. He’s getting more distinguished. And I agree, he does have a calmness. Like he’s settled into his life well, knows what is important and what’s fluff.

    • the original bellaluna says:

Yup. Same with my lover, The Olyphant. Aging well, sexy as hell, devoted family men…le sigh!!

    • Amanda_SB says:

Exactly! Sel, I couldn’t have said it better myself. 🙂

  13. T.Fanty says:

It makes me so happy to witness our beloved CB fangirling in on this post! Matt forever!

  14. Auntydrew says:

Yes, for sure. Yes from me.

  15. Sapphire says:

All day long. I’d even wait in line after CB.

  16. Emily says:

He looks like my father did 10 years ago, with a smidge more hair and a lot less height O_o. So, no. Eek.

  17. NEENAZEE says:

Not necessarily my type, but there’s so much to appreciate. He’s genuinely talented and fearless… he plays everything from idiot savants to super heroes to gay chauffeurs to con men. Stays out of the spotlight and close to his family, seems to have an amazing sense of humor. I mean, what’s not to like???

  18. lisa says:

i’ve always found him to be a bit cro magnon in the face. i’d rather never hit anything again.

  19. Kristine says:

    Oh gawd yes.
