Here are some photos of Rebel Wilson at the Glamour Women of the Year Awards on Tuesday night. After the awards, she and a “friend” went to the Groucho Club and left hand-in-hand. Would you like to know who that guy is? His name is Kevin Bishop, and they’re costarring together in Super Fun Night, Rebel’s new sitcom. So, is Rebel dating Kevin? Their body language says so, to my eyes. I guess it’s possible they could just be friends, but I think that the hand-holding means they’ve gotten to second base at least. And good for her! I would date her. She seems like a really cool, funny, amazing young woman. I bet she’s a great girlfriend!
Rebel ended up taking home the “Actress of the Year” award at the Glamour awards, and she spoke to the magazine backstage:
Rebel Wilson revealed that Joan Collins once mistook her for an on-set caterer.
The Aussie star, who won the Film Actress prize at GLAMOUR Women Of The Year awards yesterday, spoke to us backstage after she collected the accolade.
“So Joan Collins was up on the stage. Before I became Film Actress Of The Year, I did a television episode with her. She thought I was one of the caterers, she didn’t know I was an actress! She asked me, ‘When’s lunch?'”
Joan Collins was tasked with presenting the Presenter award to Clare Balding. Wilson added: “Now I see her here, she’s presenting an award… I’m getting an award… My, what two years can do.”
If some other young starlet said that, I would throwing a side-eye, but I think Rebel owns it. She has come really far in Hollywood really quickly, and she’s done it by being herself, by being funny, and by owning who she is.
Also – Rebel is on the new cover Glamour UK – she tweeted this preview of her cover! Bubbles! And diamonds! That’s awesome. I love that she’s now getting magazine covers.

He talked about his wife and a child – daughter I think, in an interview with Alan Carr but it was some time ago.

She did have a brief agreement with Jenny Craig in Australia, but I think she kept getting hired as a larger woman in Hollywood so threw the contract in. I can see her returning to the whole weight loss thing in the future however.
I think she’s trying to lose weight the old fashioned way…which is probably better. I could have sworn that she gets pap’d a lot out running/jogging in the mornings with her dog.

Someone said upthread that “they hope she doesn’t pull a Jennifer Hudson”. That annoys me. It seems that overweight celebrities just can’t win. If they are overweight, they are shamed for that. If they lose weight they are raked over the coals and called “smug” (and whatever else Jennifer Hudson is called since she lost weight).
If Rebel Wilson decides that she wants to lose weight, so what? It’s not a betrayal of her fellow big girls if she does. Plus sized actresses shouldn’t have to keep the weight on to make US feel better.
Agree completely. Its a lose/lose, and its very unfair. I think the only thing anyone should say about their weight is that they lose/gain/maintain it for no one but themselves. I never understood idolizing anyone for their weight/body type.
She had been living with and dating her costar from bridesmaids. I can’t think of his name but he played her brother and or roommate.
She and Matt Lucas do share an appartment but are not dating….Matt is very openly gay.
You mean Matt Lucas, the gay one from Little Britain? Never say never, I suppose, but as Matt has been out for pretty much as long as he’s been famous in the UK – roughly a decade – I would be deeply surprised.

That actor was awesome in the french movies, L’auberge espagnole and Les poupées russes ( Pot Luck and Russian Dolls) Can’t believe he got a job on an abc sitcom!!! But after abc cancelled Happy endings and Don’t trust the bitch, I’m scared to commit to a new one…. Bah! Rebel rocks! I’ll put myself out there again 😉

^This! Her outtakes had me in stitches. I had such a major girl crush and would watch her in anything but what I really want is for someone to just randomly place cameras around her home and we could live feed Rebel and Matt’s real-life interractions. I bet they’re hilarious living together.
She has a really pretty, almost elegant face. I think that if she continues to lose weight, we’ll see that she has beautiful bone structure, I love her cheekbones. I wish she dressed up more, but whatevs. I can identify with her. My mom hates that I go around in jeans and sweatshirts all year round.
Is it just me or magazine covers like to feature big girls’ faces than their entire body? If I am not wrong, Adele’s cover only featured her face. Both are still gorgeous though. I really hope Rebel continues to have a good self esteem throughout her career. God knows I wouldn’t be as confident as her.
