As for Anne.. Poor girl is out of her league. She is new and young and not used to awards, so I give her props for trying really hard to be humble and respectful to the people she ‘beat’. She was no worse than some of the other rambling shambles we’ve heard up there accepting awards over the years and you can tell she is intelligent – her nerves were just amped. I gotta say, I’d be cakking my panties if I had to stand up there knowing I’d been awarded over Angelina or Cate,so I am not going to criticize anyone for having to do that.
I think Meryl might actually win the Oscar though. I haven’t seen ‘Rachel Getting Married’ but I did see ‘Benjamin Button’ and ‘Changeling’. Thought Angie was pretty awesome… Cate, not so much… I thought Taraji Henson gave the stronger female performance in BB.

I agree with debra77, she didn’t look pissed off. If she had clapped profusely people would have said she was being phony and it seems that no matter what she does people will criticize. I guess it is much more interesting to create a catfight between “mean” Angelina and “innocent” Anne than to simply state that she looked disappointed.

OK all you people that think Angelina was her polite composed self, at a school concert, any where that reqiures an applause, even if you do not like the person, or sat through a hour kids christams concert with a baby, you find a way to applaud, She did not even give this woman who won (oviously for a reason) an applause. I heard another theory- that it’s not that she’s a spoiled brat, bitchy, mean, self centered woman that cannot respect other women’s success.
I heard it was the Botox that got her face stuck that way so she cannot move it too much near her mouth and near her eyes, which also explains the wax- oily skin thing.
The only problem with the plastic surgery and Botox theory- is that she could have clapped her hands and show her respect that way, and she didn’t.
I guess perhaps Angelina got Botox on her hands too, so she was prevented from showing anything but bitchy- jealous- thing.

What is the focus after the CCA’s “How did Angie react”. Nothing about the winners at all. I am a fan.. But some of you are obsessed. well Boha, I hope you reserve the same concern (wrapped in distain and disapproval) for the children of families across the world in which it is quite normal to have 7,8, or 13 or 15 kids (vietnam, palestine, and catholic families up until recently). its more the norm to have 6 kids than not in this world, and the jolie pitts have more resources than most to support their large family, so it shouldnt really be a problem for you to think about.

I have 5 children pretty close together in age. They all received individual attention every single day and I didn’t have the luxury of nannies or maids.
We also traveled and relocated every two years due to my husband’s job. My children all loved moving around, meeting new people, making friends, seeing new places. They looked at it as an adventure. These experiences broadened their minds and helped them grow into independent adults.
As tots, teens and adults they were/are each other’s best friends. We are a very close knit family and love each others company. They also all have numerous friends outside of the family, who join us for family events.
I know that some skeptics will still play the ‘collecting kids, not enough time for each child’ record but it won’t make it true, no matter how many times you play it.
Live it first, honesty before opinions. Without it, you’re just powerless kids, trying to sound important on the Internet.
