I really don’t know what’s going on with Katy Perry. I don’t know if she’s really reuniting with John Mayer. I don’t know if Katy is trying to make something happen with Robert Pattinson. I don’t know if she’s trying to juggle both men at the same time. Here is what I currently believe – and this is just my Twihard conspiracy theory, with NO Twihard Proof – I believe that Katy and Sparkles are exploring something. I think they were friends and they’re still friends and Katy is rubbing her glitter-boobs on him and he likes it. I also think that she’s still got some unfinished business with John Mayer, and she’s keeping Mayer around as a “cover” for the Sparkles stuff, at least until she and Rob figure out what they’re doing. Maybe Katy knows she’s just his rebound and she’s fine with that. Maybe she and Rob have convinced themselves that this is something “real”. I don’t know. But I do think there’s some glitter-boob action.
Anyway, yesterday I saw that some of you were Twihard-Proofing the reports that Katy and Rob were in LA together, and they attended a Bjork concert together. The Mail is reporting it too, so here you go:
They’ve been a shoulder to cry on for each other since their respective splits from Kristen Stewart and John Mayer. And on Saturday night, Robert Pattinson and Katy Perry spent yet more time together as they attended a Bjork concert at the Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles.
The pair were said to have met up ‘discreetly’ and made their way into the gig together before leaving separately to avoid photographers waiting outside the venue, X17Online.com reports.
Katy, 28, opted for a gothic inspired ensemble for her evening out with her showbiz pal, teaming a punky leather miniskirt with a black and silver crucifix logo T-shirt. And in spite of her A-list pal, Katy paid no reference to her company as she expressed her delight at the gig over Twitter, writing: ‘Dear Bjork, how do I join your traveling girl cult? #brilliantshow.’
Katy and Robert have been spending a lot of time together in recent weeks, and it’s even been claimed the songstress has even taken her pal to visit her parents in Santa Barbara, California.
A source told Grazia magazine: ‘Katy and Robert have been spending a lot of time together recently and it’s safe to say there is serious chemistry. Katy thought the break from LA would do Rob good, and since he was no longer living with Kristen, she didn’t hesitate in inviting him to join her. But she doesn’t want to ruin their friendship by rushing into anything.’
Katy was said to have been disapproving of Robert’s reconciliation with Twilight co-star Kristen last year following her fling with married director Rupert Sanders.
A source told Life & Style magazine: ‘Katy never really supported Rob’s decision to get back with Kristen. She always said they wouldn’t last. Katy told Rob she didn’t think their relationship could withstand the cheating scandal. And he deserved better than someone who would destroy a family [like Rupert’s].’
Despite the couple managing to patch things up after a two-month break following Kristen’s ‘momentary indiscretion’ with Rupert last year, it is thought their relationship is over for good this time after Rob was spotted moving his belongings out of her home in Los Feliz earlier this month.
Meanwhile, Katy split from musician John Mayer in mid-March, but the on-off couple are recently said to have rekindled their turbulent romance.

Or maybe she just found Rob more attractive? And there is the age difference between the two women. Perry is 28 now and divorced, and Stewart is only 23, so there is the maturity issue. @annie rob has tried to play the perfect gentleman. I think his team realized after the first two promo tht the fans saw him as Edward so they reigned him in. Gone was the partying, sloppy brit and in came edward cullen. All this talk about marriage and kids and advice from his father. The thing is he said it but never really showed it. What he showed to the public was a single guy who carted out his girlfriend to promote his non two films. I think his actions at the MTV movie awards honoring Reese we’re a true reflection of who he is. Crass, self absorbed and cocky, not in an awful way but he isnt a gentleman. For someone who is that popular, you gotta wonder why his Films tank at the BO. Sure, they are indies but indies CAN make money. I think last year sucked for him in many ways, bel ami sucked, cosmopolis tanked at the BO, he had no quality future projects and his girlfriend cheated on him. Olivia – I like Rob but his options are limited. He keeps making flop after flop and Twilight has definitely hurt his credibility because he was AWFUL in it. I know his fans want to see him as a top contender for great roles, but he is not. He’s at a Zac Efron’a level. He’s nowhere near Joseph Gordon Levitt, Andrew Garfield, Jesse Eisenberg, Shia Labeouf, Eddie Redmayne, etc. Those guys are untouchable and everyone’s first choice. Just because Rob takes himself super seriously doesn’t mean the rest of the world agrees. He’s auditioned for things he never got. He can’t open a movie by himself. If he’s making indies right now is not because he chooses them. He takes whatever he can get. And he won’t be able to get indies forever if he these are movies that nobody sees. Those guys are in full force working with amazing people, Rob is falling behind.
So if people think he’s too good for that crowd, look at his ex. He does not have high standards when it comes to people. And he doesn’t seem to be above tabloids or paparazzi if, even subtly, he’s sent messages and has agreed to send messages, through them.

I don’t know why Kristen is judged so harshly over her hygiene (how do you know she doesn’t shower? she wears different clothes every day, and that is known thanks the stalker pap). Rob has admitted to never washing his hair for months, showed interviewers his dandruff and admitted he wears the same clothes all of the time. Yet his fans fell in love with him. Kristen is called dirty, trashy and smelly? She seems to be a normal girl who is enjoying her free time. I only wash my hair 2 or 3 times a week too. Does that make me unhygienic?
Actually yes, it does. You probably can’t smell it anymore, but your hair/scalp’s oils start smelling after day 1. Not a pleasant smell. People shouldn’t have to be subjected to that. It’s also lazy and sloppy. Nothing adult about that. Your body, your choice but lack of hygiene makes a terrible impression and shows neglect and self-care, maybe even depression.
Nothing about that is good and Rob really can be a slob too. Kristen is way worse though. Plus we’re women! Periods and stuff. You need to be more aware of that.
What?? Washing hair 3 times a week (which is every other day) does not show a lack of hygiene. Many hairdressers will tell you NOT to wash your hair everyday, especially if you have dry hair.
While you may have oily hair that needs daily washing, that’s not true for everyone. And for most people with dry to normal hair, it does not smell after a day or two.
Most normal people know what schedule they need for their own hair, depending on the weather and their activity level.
And what does being a woman who has periods have to do with washing your hair? LOL.
I have heard interviewers and costars mention that he smells ripe, like smoke or a brewery. I think it is because he is British that he showers less frequently but since he is a surfing, baseball cap wearing la dude now, perhaps he should shower more frequently to fit in.
Annie that is not true at all. I’m sorry you are so delusional about hygiene but it is not good for your skin or your hair to bathe every single day of your life. Both your skin and your hair produce natural oils, not smelly ones, that protect them from damage, when you wash, especially with strong soaps, you strip those oils away. Talk to a dermatologist or a hair person and they will tell you the same thing. Over washing is bad for your skin, your hair and, incidentally, the environment. If you want to criticize others as immature adults get your facts straight first.
Annie, you are greatly misinformed about hygiene and washing. 2-3 times a week, that is washing your hair every other day. I went to a dermatologist and other skin doctors because of my brittle dry hair and scalp and all have said that washing everyday strips your scalp and hair of much needed natural oils, filling it with chemical products, and it was why I was having problems with my scalp/hair. I wash 2-3 times a week, which is the recommended amount. So unless I have the desire to thin out my hair and destroy my scalp, I would wash my hair every day. (Also blowdrying your hair, and not naturally drying your hair damages it greatly and usually takes me a full day for my hair to dry naturally, so I would also have wet hair CONSTANTLY, which is not only annoying but can give you frequent colds).
Annie – that is such nonsense. My hair smells fine. If i washed my hair every day it would be so dry and brittle. Believe me i tried it when i was a teen. Not happening again. Hardly anybody i know washes their hair daily unless they do tons of exercise every day.
I see women insulting Kristen for her hygiene and i have to wonder why they resort to such nasty jibes. Nobody has ever said she smells and she changes her clothes daily. Just because she doesn’t straighten her hair and wear designer clothes around LA does not make her unhygienic. For somebody with such smell issues she doesn’t have any problems attracting guys!

I think ppl are reading too much into this. I think Rob & Katy have been close even before he & Kristen became a couple. They have a common good friend in Shannon Woodward, one of Katy’s BFFs. I think Kristen only became close to Katy because of Rob.
Kristen and Katy share the same stylist and publicist. They are friends regardless of Rob.
Having the same team doesn’t mean being friends, but it can easily explain why Katy was so protective over KStew on recent red carpets. She was definitely asked to show support for Kristen after her Oscar night disaster.

You seem very definite about that, but to me it sounds like it’s just your opinion. Katy has always liked Kristen. They are all friends and Kristen has been out with Katy’s bff Shannon Woodward and her assistant without Katy or Rob.

Actually Annie is right abot his career. Considering how popular Rob is and how unpopular Kristen was and still is, he doesn’t seem to have fans that go see his films anymore than she does. Look at who he hangs with in Hollywood shady producers, bieber, Katy perry. This isn’t someone who has a lot of options because no one with options would chose this. I am afraid he may be Orlando bloom 2.0. I know he has some projects lined up but he will probably only film 2 of them this year. What happened to filming all ear long. I applaud Cronenberg for casting rob again but I doubt this film will do any better at the Bo.

If he makes you so obviously angry, why invest so much time in knowing his every move? Because you know WAY more about him than the average fan.
It seems to me that Rob is hanging out with his friends before he goes off for filming later this year. More power to him.
In the future, if he’s not able to line up work anymore, then I’m sure he’ll attempt to re-package himself somewhat. But for now, he is able to land roles. I applaud him for finally moving on from whatever he had with Kristen since it was obviously over, whether real or PR.
He does have fans who will support him and not trash him constantly like you. Will that fan support equal big dollars at the box office? Who knows? I think it’ll depend on the particular movie.

Why am I investing my time? Is it possible to not? rob has been a headline for the past 4 years and even though he broke up with Kristen, he seems to be keeping himself in the headlines with his “relationship” with Katy. Hard not to notice. I am not angry, but you sure sound miffed.

About the BO, I just find it weird that he is well liked and super popular but his films are just not connecting with an audience and often with the critics. Cosmopolis was good for him but it is the worst Cronenberg film at the Bo and with the critics. Hopefully the next one will be better recieved. I think it is great he is taking secondary roles. Being the lead is hard.
