You may have a vague memory of Rachel Uchitel. She was the party planner/professional mistress who had an affair with (married) David Boreanaz (whom she later blackmailed) and then she was Tiger Woods’ current mistress when the National Enquirer began exposing their affair and all of the other ladies Tiger was boning while he was married. Tiger later gave Rachel some kind of “settlement” to keep her mouth shut, and she took that money and… God knows. She ended up in San Francisco, I guess, and she later married a former football player named Matt Hahn. They had a baby girl together, Wyatt Lilly Hahn. They got married in October 2011. And now it’s OVER. Because of course.
Rachel Uchitel is getting divorced after a stormy relationship that blew up last month when she called 911 on her husband … TMZ has learned.
Sources connected with the couple tell TMZ … Rachel’s husband, Matt Hahn, filed for divorce Monday, citing “cruel and inhumane treatment.”
Our sources say … there were many explosive, verbal arguments. We’re also told Matt alleges Rachel slapped him after he repeatedly called her names. FYI, Matt is a former Penn State football player.
As for the 911 call … we’re told Rachel called NYC cops on May 16 after a particularly nasty verbal argument, asking for help in getting Matt out of the house. We’re told Rachel did not follow up and did not pursue charges against Matt.
Rachel and Matt were married a year-and-a-half ago. They have a 1-year-old daughter.
Rachel’s rep, Howard Bragman, tells TMZ, “It is Ms. Uchitel’s goal to resolve this action amicably, quickly and quietly and not in the media.”
UPDATE: 3:47 AM PT: Sources tell us … Hahn is asking for full custody of their 1-year-old as well as child support.
It sounds like a hot mess. It sounds like Rachel has a short fuse and Matt has a temper, and it sounds like there’s a small baby in the middle of it. I’m not on Matt’s side or Rachel’s side, I just hope the baby ends up okay. But really, isn’t this just what I said years ago? Matt Hahn was dumb enough to marry Rachel, so this is what he gets. Everybody already knew what she was like! Gross.

Seriously, this woman is crazy. And he’s probably not smart and thoughtful either. And why does he want child support? Does she has much money? Did Tiger paid her so well?

It’s so sad when people who shouldn’t be together, stay together, get married and have babies. I will never understand that. Subjecting small innocent children to your sick relationship and mental illness.
From the age of the child and the length of marriage, I’m guessing they probably got married because she was pregnant. Which isn’t a good reason to get married, but maybe that’s why he went through with it and tried to stay together.
If memory serves (and feel free to correct me if I’m wrong) but I believe after they found out she was pregnant, and shortly before they announced it, they were in Vegas for a friend’s wedding and decided on the spur of the moment to get hitched since they were already there. Getting married just because you’re pregnant doesn’t always yield the best results. Getting married on a whim doesn’t always yield the best results either, so, the chances of their marriage working out were pretty slim. I hope they can at least try to be amicable for the sake of that innocent little girl but concidering this is starting with leaks to the tabloids I’m doubtful.
That poor baby girl. It’s awful, for a lack of a better word, to have parents who are idiots. Maybe, her husband cheated on her. That would be karma.
It’s sad for their little girl, but maybe for the best..Hopefully they resolve their issues peacefully.

Her husband’s going for full physical custody of their daughter. He says she’s abusive. I’m sure she’ll say he is. If there wasn’t a little girl in the middle, I’d be getting th popcorn popper out.
She’s a highly dysfunctional person who clearly isn’t cut out for marriage and/or a proper adult relationship. She needs therapy.
I would have been a bit concerned about marrying someone who had a track record of being “the other woman” in extra-marital affairs with very rich men. I hate to sound old fashioned about it but her morals do seem a bit suspect. It reminds me of a Paula Poundstone joke : “When I meet a man on a 1st date, I wonder “is this the type of man I want my (unborn) children spending every 2nd weekend with?” Maybe he should have asked himself that question.
I have to agree with you on this description of her. I think all of her relationships will be brief due to her nature and also who she picks for a mate. I don’t know much about her husband. He might be just as shallow as she is if he would get himself into a crazy situation like that. But, right, baby situation might have them rushing into marriage sooner than they would have. Oops…
I think she had to give the money back to Tiger Woods a while ago because she broke the confidential agreement part by speaking out about him. Like millions, right? Dumbass 😉

Within days after 9/11 she was on the cover of every NY paper, clutching a photo of her missing fiance, tears streaming down her face. It became an iconic photo at a time when this city was so emotional, and still in shock. I can’t believe this is the same person.

That picture was one of the most enduring images of 9/11 for me. Pure heartbreak. I just googled it again and misted up. When the whole Tiger Woods thing happened, I couldn’t believe it was her. I seem to recall her saying something like she wasn’t supposed to be living this life, she was supposed to be with Andy O’Grady, the only man who truly loved her. What a mess.

Oh..right!! She was a completely different looking woman back then. In fact, after she became one of Tiger’s mistresses, I remember reading a blurb by her former husband’s father, who said this was not the same woman that was married to his son. This new Rachel was obviously shallow and money-hungry. Her appearance had changed tremendously and so did she. O’Grady’s father did not want to be associated with her after that.
Yes, this is awful for that cute, innocent little girl and those parents do not seem terribly bright, but that picture with the dog! Love it. I hope they at least stay that happy around their daughter and don’t drag her into their drama.

My husband works with him. They call him Mr. Uchitel behind his back and he is not particularly well liked. I met them both at last year’s Holiday party and she seemed very nice and actually pretty normal, while he was the kind of guy who, when he’s talking to you, is actually looking right past you at the hot chick over by the bar.
Based on short acquaintance, I’m Team Uchitel, although not particularly proud of it.

I hate to say it, but I actually kind of liked her when she was on Celebrity Rehab. She did seem nice and pretty normal. She also makes TERRIBLE decisions when it comes to men, that much was obvious from the show. I don’t think she’s an awful person, although she has done some questionable things, but I do think she needs more therapy. She seemed really damaged.
