Many of Beyonce’s fans want to believe that she not-so-secretly hates Kim Kardashian. I believed that at first, but I don’t anymore. I think Kim has managed to finesse and impregnate her way into the Cool Kids Table, which includes Jay-Z, Beyonce and Gwyneth Paltrow. Beyonce and Kanye West are like siblings, and I think that’s a good way to think of Bey’s relationship with Kim – they’re like sisters-in-law who are nice to each other on holidays and concert tours. Sometimes they even have fun together. As for Gwyneth – well, Kim is Tracy Anderson’s client, and by extension, that means Kim is Goop’s client. Goop’s relationship with Kim is business, and since Goop’s business is “lifestyle” that means she has to be nice to Kim.
Anyway, Beyonce posted a congratulatory message to Kimye on her Tumblr yesterday. She posted the black-and-white image (above ^^) and the message “Congratulations Kim & Kanye. Enjoy this beautiful moment together.” Do you think Blue Ivy and Knuckle West will be friends growing up? Probably not. But I bet Knuckle will try to hang out with BIC and use BIC for added fame. Generational famewhoring!
Obviously, Kim and Kanye are not going to name their baby girl “Knuckle” but I was just having fun in the gossip vacuum that is the baby name speculation. I’m a little bit surprised they haven’t announced the name yet, but I’m sure we’ll get it sometime this week. I am not surprised that we haven’t seen a photo yet though – I really do think Kim will be able to talk Kanye into a photo shoot with People Magazine. It will happen. Believe it.
Incidentally, Kris Jenner is already speaking about her new grandbaby. Kris told HLN, “We’re all fine; we’re all good… and extremely happy and thrilled for the new baby. She’s doing great and she’s beautiful.”
PS… My new guess for the baby name is “Kami”. It’s a K name, it’s Armenian, and Kami West sounds very “Kardashian”.

Why are people so concerned about Beyonce “liking” Kim? Or Beyonce and Kim hanging out or being friends? Beyonce and JayZ are Kanye’s friends. Beyonce did the right thing, she congratulated both parents. So I guess people are going study Beyonce’s message to death.

I think its sweet of Beyonce. She knows that nothing would put a bigger smile on Kims face than to be publicly acknowledged in this way. But I agree with Kaiser, she only bothers because she and her hubby are so tight with Kanye.

I really thought the picture was beautiful. They look so ‘happy’ & ‘in love’ (gag me). The fact that they were in public, yet seemed to be in their own little world, says something to their relationship.
Plus Kanye’s smile looks *real*, how many of *those* pics do you think there are to choose from? (especially that include Kim xD Even rarer).
I thought she chose a nice photo.. i was expecting a pic where beyoncè was with Kim and Kanye, a way to make this event all about herself, but i was wrong. I think this picture is very nice and tasteful, it almost seems like they really love each other.
Remember, Bey has a tour to promote. This is just a avenue for more publicity.

I still can’t get over the fact that the baby was under five pounds. That seems awfully tiny…
My youngest was 4 pounds (my two olders were 9lbs, lol!) and she was literally like the size of a kitten. Smaller than those little soft baby dolls – but even so, that’s hardly considered that tiny anymore. Some friends just went home with their micro-preemie – who was under 2lbs! Medical advancement FTW!
I had HUGE (9lbs+) babies 10/13 years ago and still consider 6 pounds to be on the smaller side! I was actually concerned the baby was so small when I first read the news, but I guess you’re right…not that rare although I personally haven’t heard of a full term baby being so tiny. 🙂
Yeah, I think that’s the real reason there’s a gossip vacuum. Are Kim and the baby even out of the hospital get? Isn’t the little one in an incubator? And I’ve always been told it’s bad luck to talk about baby names if the baby is sick (my Russian ex’s family took it to the extreme and said its traditional to not say the baby’s name at all for the first few months).
Me, I’m concerned about K&the baby’s health. I hope they’re okay and I hope they go home soon.
Yep, that’s what I’m saying…I hope the baby is thriving and no complications occur for either one.
It’s definitely tiny, but we overestimate how much room Kim has in her womb. I carry ‘lost’, I like to call it. My baby was in there somewhere, tho the bump was tiny, my ass got enormous (boobs too) and my kiddo was 5lbs 5 oz with a high APGAR. Pretty sure 8-10 lbs newborns are the exception to the norm.
I was 2kg (I think that’s 4.4 pounds?), and I was three weeks early. Two days after, I was out!Perfectly normal baby. Some babies are simply small, but very determined and eager.
Oh who knows for sure what Jay-Z and Bey think. It was hardly anything big and sounded more like good southern girl manners than anything else to me. When the Kimmode and the Kanyeeee break up, that’s when we will know what his group think of her until then they will play nice for Kanye’s sake.

I’m still holding for Kalliope – since Kourtney has a Penelope and Kalliope is (among other things) the goddess of music and the head muse. She’s the queen B. And then they could call her Kalli/Kali – Kali Kardashian West… I can see it happening…

This is probably insensitive, if I’m wrong, but my first thought was that they were keeping the baby under wraps (visually) because they’re still trying to convince us that the baby is premature by a month.
If we see a larger, more developed baby, our suspicions that they’re full of it about the due date will be confirmed.
I must admit when I first read it, I instinctively read between the lines: “enjoy this moment together…because it will be one of your last…mwahahahahahaha” Yes, I really do think it is the case 😀

Regarding the silence around the baby. Read somewhere that PMK has said to well-wishers that more will be revealed on the premiere of her talk show. Which sounds like typical Kardashian strategy, if you ask me.
