If I didn’t know any better, I would say that Nicole Kidman has gained some weight. Not much, just 10 pounds or so. It looks really good on her, right? It’s also possible that what I’m seeing as weight gain is just a dress cut the wrong way for her bolt-ons. Back when Nicole had a small bust, she could wear high-neck gowns with ease and still look incredibly slender. But she’s finding out the curse of larger boobs now – when you have a larger bust, you look heavier when you wear clothes with a high-neck.
Anyway, these are photos of Nicole at the Cinema for Peace gala in Berlin over the weekend. The event was specifically to honor UN women, and Nicole is embracing Lakshmi Puri, the UN Nation Assistant Secretary-General for Intergovernmental Support and Strategic Partnerships. Nicole won an award at the event. Her dress is Elie Saab Couture. I kind of think this would have been more striking as a gown, a column of pale blue sparkles, but it’s nice as a cocktail dress too. Nicole loves wearing pale colors, and this pale blue-grey doesn’t wash her out at all, which is nice. I like the simplicity of her low ponytail too. Her lips are still crazy though.
Nicole also covers the August issue of Vogue Germany. There are two covers actually, both of them head shots. I guess I like the black-and-white cover more.

I like both covers. But then you see the candid pics and they make the cover pics look like they are older pictures. But she look beautiful on both.
I like the pale blue dress. Hate the shoes. They look so old lady.

I see what you mean about her looking younger in the photo shoots as opposed to the candid-especially on the second cover. I have not seen her with her curly hair in a while and it reminds me of that film she did with Billy Zane.
She looks happy and less botoxy.
I like both covers too. I think it’s pretty obvious she’s self-conscious of her lips. Is it coincidence that she’s covering her lips in both pics?

It’s not just the bolt-ons–she’s gained a bit of weight. You can see it in the arms and waist area. She looks great with it! That second Vogue picture…is it old? You can’t even see the Lip of Doom.

I really like the styling, esp the coral drop earrings, but come on, white leather pumps with a sparkly couture dress? You can do better, Nicole!

I like her with more weight, except the bigger bust makes her look oddly matronly. Did they put that swan brooch near her fake lips to camouflage them and make her more “old school” Nicole and more attractive?
I love the dress not the shoes though. But I like the earrings too. The covers are lovely they look old so good work.LOL
I just noticed how damaged and lifeless her hair looks. I have noticed this for along time. Maybe over treating or dying not sure. But it looks brittle and no shine.
She’s pretty much full-on grey.
