Last Thursday (August 1st), Us Weekly reported that all of those rumors about Riley Keough and Robert Pattinson were kind of true – Riley and Rob have been “hooking up” for a while since his split with Kristen Stewart. On that same day, Thursday, Joan Jett played a special concert at the House of Blues in West Hollywood. Kristen was in attendance (confirmed by the Twitter photo I’m including). Riley was also in attendance – confirmed by these photos of Riley leaving the venue after Joan Jett played. Oooo…. Twihard Dramz.
Poor Kristen Stewart! Robert Pattinson‘s new flame, Riley Keough, is probably the very last person she wanted to see while she was out trying to have a good time at her pal Joan Jett‘s concert at West Hollywood’s House of Blues. Kristen might have been concerned about running into Riley at the concert because the two young women met in 2010 while co-starring in The Runaways, a biopic about Joan’s life.
Kristen, 23, starred as Joan in The Runaways, while Riley, 24, played fellow female rocker Marie Currie, so it wouldn’t be outside the realm of possibility that the two actresses would both want to catch Joan’s show.
Nevertheless, Kristen, who was sitting upstairs in a VIP section called the Foundation Room with three girlfriends, had to feel mixed emotions when she saw Riley. AWKWARD!
“It was weird when they saw each other, because Kristen didn’t look very happy when she walked over to give her a hug,” an eyewitness tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY. “Can we say awkward and tense?”
“They spoke for like two minutes and then Riley and her girlfriend walked away,” the source adds. “Kristen watched the show from upstairs and I am pretty sure Riley kept her distance and was watching from downstairs.”
After the run-in, Kristen hung out in the VIP area with other celebs like Carmen Electra, and onlooker Nina Strauss instagrammed a picture of her with the caption, “What an amazing night with Carmen Electra on my right side and Kristen Stewart to my left with Joan Jett performing, what can I say? I LOVE HOLLYWOOD!”
She also added that Kristen had a great time, despite being at the same place as her R-Patz rival.
“Kristen Stewart was awesome, shy, cute and tiny! We headbanged to Joan, it was amazing! She is so cool!” said Nina.
Kristen went over to Riley and hugged her? That IS surprisingly mature of Kristen. I would have expected her to bite her lips and then scream “You don’t deserve to breathe the same air I do!!!!”
PS… God, these two women look so much alike. It’s kind of creepy how similar their “looks” are, down to the questionable bra-type dressed and bustiers.

Could it be that the reason all these comparisons can be made on resemblance is that Hollywood is always gravitating toward the look of the current ‘it’ girl? Shows we need more variety. Look at all the Marilyns spawned out of America’s perception of the Marilyn look as the ideal pin up.
Do you think we’d ever propel an Anna Nicole Smith or Madonna to success if there were no Marilyn, for instance? The bad thing about that is each sought after look or trend eventually goes out of style (mainly b/c we wear it out of style).
Fortunately the onus is then placed on each wannabe to set him or herself apart to gain or maintain notoriety/fame. Kristen’s the ‘it’ girl and anything associated with her sparks obscene gossip and rumormongering. I would say the same about Rpatz, although no one is commenting on his similarity to anyone else. But you never ever see any reference to Robert or Kristen without mention of either.
Good point. Madonna never really reminded me of Marilyn Monroe though, even though I heard that she was one of her influences and I’ve seen pictures of Madonna with her short, curly blonde hair and red lipstick look. I think she actually succeeded in making herself different from Marilyn. Anna Nicole, on the other hand, seemed like a modern-day copy of Marilyn.
I never understood why the Twilight franchise got so popular. I read the books and thought they were ok- I’ve read better teen vampire books. The House of Night series is better. I didn’t like the twilight movies either.

I haven’t read or tuned into teen vampire movies or books outside of Twilight. Definitely not the most sophisticated writing, but page turners nonetheless.
I hate anything that gets overhyped so I did not tune into Twilight at the onset. I started reading them once I saw the film in the theater. The only way I can explain the intrigue is to say Twilight left me feeling the same way I did when I read my 1st Harlequin novels.
I don’t think they look that much alike. And why do people say Kristen is so tiny. Isn’t she 5’6″. She has a skinny frame and small face.
What does Hollywood casting have to do with Sparkles hooking up with a girl that looks like Kstew? How many other actresses even look like Kstew? Not Jennifer Lawrence, not Emma Stone, not Emma Watson, Shailey Woodley, and on. Over 99.99 of other famous young actresses look nothing like Kstew. That’s like saying all models look like Naomi Campbell that’s why her ex hooked up with her lookalike. Either these guys are out for revenge or the have a type. Hollywood ain’t forcing them to get with clones of their ex-girlfriends.

Unpopular opinion on here because I know there are a lot of stans. This hookup makes RPattz look kinda douchey, even though KStew cheated on him/or was sloppy about their open relationship. His ex-gf’s good friend who could pass for her twin sister? The KP angle could be played for drama: boobs and the tomboy ex fight over him and isn’t he a stud? However, this kind of goes against the golden boy narrative the tabloids have going for him and no matter what the PR says…we know they met through KStew and not her Mom. So better to
hush it up until they see if the relationship works out.

Katy Perry is milking for press. All I can say is that her farting comment really made the rounds. IMO, not sure that was the best way for her to describe their close friendship. It was major drama, not just tabloid drama but also major girl drama. Lots of stuff about how KStew felt, KP talked about it a ton. But the whole Riley angle – aside from her publicist’s denials there hasn’t been a ton of drama. I just find it interesting. Though I do really love the idea of Robert Pattison knowing Lisa Marie Presley well enough for him to know her daughter through her. It makes me laugh to even think about what those two could ever possibly have in common, or any conversations they could have.
I should also mention that not only am I not a Twilight fan but I can’t even bring myself to ad the books. So I have no emotional investment in this (thank god). And I will make no commentary about the books/movies/their fans beyond that. I am however continually fascinated with the stardom of both the leads, Kristen and Rob. Outside the franchise they’re both very good looking but utterly uncharismatic individuals, yet we had Teddy C nattering on foe years about which Twilight lead would win an Oscar first (oh Ted). It’s amazing.

I read Ted Casablanca for years, and until he bought into the whole Twilight phenomenon he was the best. To this day I wonder about his Blind Vices. If it was the whole Jeremy Renner slipup (which of course all signs point to) that got him fired the part that bugs me the most is that other publications had accidentally outed Renner WAY before. For example the LA Times Real Estate section. So for Ted to be so unceremoniously dumped sucked. I’m really curious to see where he goes now that his non-compete is up.

I would think the jealousy factor would only apply if Kristen Stewart fans harp on Lindsay Lohan for as long as Robert Pattinson fans have harped on Kristen Stewart which would be about 4 years. Pattinson fans started disliking Stewart when she didn’t fawn over him appropriately during twilight while he repeatedly professed his crush on her. That is what spawned all of those hate Kristen sites by his fans. If Kristen Stewart fans behave like that then yea, you can consider them jealous.

I think envy is more fitting. I think my favorite comment is the woman going on about how grateful RPattz was for Twilight. No envy here. Enjoyed the books (not Jane Austen by any stretch, by I liked the story). Watched the movies (meh). Saw interviews with the cast. They ALL seemed thrilled to be on that wild ride in 2008, enjoying the gift of being in a blockbuster film franchise. Humor, fun, and gratitude was what I saw in them. Then- KS popped up. Her interviews were filled with boredom, cursing, and entitlement. All from some kid who cannot act. I did not project any feelings toward the character of Bella onto HER b/c I thought she butchered it. NO ONE is envious of KS possessing ANYTHING- let alone talent. She comes across as a rude, undereducated, sullen, belligerent, talentless and full of contempt towards others. THAT is why ppl do not care for her. Envy? Good grief.

As far as the story about this triangle goes, meh. If it comes out that they are actually dating then the most interesting part to me will be reading all the crazy comments from their obsessed fans. I’m not a big fan of Rob or Kristen, and don’t know much about Riley at all. I actually feel a little bad for Rob with all this endless speculation but can’t muster up too much interest in his love life myself.

Yeah, I don’t really see it either. I saw a picture a couple of weeks ago where I thought there was a slight resemblance, but in the pictures I’ve seen since then not so much. Just from what little I’ve seen, Riley tends to go for an overall more feminine look and I agree they carry themselves differently.
I didn’t even know Riley existed until this ‘scoop’. She & Alex look good together. They are well matched because Alex’s career is fledgling status, while hers is non-existent. if they choose, they can maintain a low key life. It makes sense to network or attach herself to someone bigger if she now wants the limelight.

Rob fan reporting in here to say personally, I don’t give a fart who the Sparkles is seeing so long as he’s happy and having a blast. Riley and Kstew do have a little bit of resemblance to each other, but I’m inclined to believe it’s the moment, not an everyday thing.
