Surprise, surprise. For last night’s LA premiere of Paranoia, the lead of the film, Liam Hemsworth, actually walked the red carpet with his fiancée Miley Cyrus. Isn’t that interesting? Miley and Liam’s engagement seemed off-and-on for months now. Actually, it seemed like Miley was sort of clinging to Liam while he gallivanted and fooled around with other chicks (like January Jones?). But they’re still together. And they want you to know that. I’m trying to read Miley’s face… is that a look of triumph? I don’t think it is. I think that’s the look that Kelly Preston gets on her face when she’s doing an appearance with John Travolta. Like, “Our relationship isn’t really like this, but let’s put on a show.”
Miley’s dress is Proenza Schouler Spring 2013. I hate it. I hate her shoe choice. I hate the leather. I hate the colors. I hate her hair. I hate her makeup. And I actually sort-of like Miley (at least I’m willing to give her a pass on some stuff). But this is a style failure from top to bottom.
Also on the carpet was “controversial” Amber Heard, girlfriend of Johnny Depp. No, Depp did not walk the carpet with his girlfriend. He didn’t come near her premiere at all. Amber used to have great style, but this Vionnet gown is rather… blah. Not all that flattering. I like her darker hair, but the style is kind of messy. Her makeup looks good though.
And Harrison Ford and Callista. Boring. But I still love him. Gary Oldman didn’t come to the premiere, by the way!

Yesterday I searched Youtube for Can’t Stop, and the first 10 results were by Miley, not by RHCP. It was a sad day.
I’m good with everything but the hair. And I don’t hate the hair. I think the dress is pretty cute. Overall, a good look.
It looks like she was to tone it down so as not to steal Liam’s spotlight, but still look kind of edgy.
I’m just the opposite – I hate the whole look but love the shoes. Really love the shoes!

I think she looks horrible these days
Miley has a very moonpie shaped face. It’s round without any sharp features. The haircut is really nice but depending on the angle it makes her face look fat. Like she lost all that weight but non of fat from the face which is usually a sign that she is underweight for her natural body type, though nothing serious.
The pursed mouth look she always has (which looks like she’s trying hard to hold in her inner ducklips or a fart) makes her face, her cheeks in particular, look chipmunk like. Because she has puffy cheeks but not a high cheekbone structure so…..let’s just say it’s unbecoming.
She put hard work into her body and she looks great but her face is average at best.
To be fair, at this point Budget Hemsworth needs Miley to keep him going the way of the Bargain Basement Hemsworth brother. She’s keeping him (somewhat) relevant.

Well, he is the lead in a movie that is coming out, so he’s not exactly nobody. And I can’t see her being all that when it comes to the movie world. His brother has way more steam than she does.

Seriously, I was talking a dude that works at a MASSIVE studio. He was talking about the Helmsworth brothers. They wanted Chris for the lead of this movie, but he was too big (He wanted too much money). They had to go with Budget instead.

Wow, I tried so hard to like this dress on Miley but I just can’t, and Amber’s is just a confusing mess imo, neither dress is horrible but they would have been better if they’d been cut differently – had Miley’s not flared out like that, maybe a little shorter and more figure-hugging and if that dark blue part of Amber’s gown did not exist, they woulda looked better.

Liam…he looks over it, in fact, they both do. Neither of them look comfortable with each other, they seem to be trying to maintain a physical distance from each other while putting on a “we are totally together” show for the cameras.

I think she did a pretty good job of toning down her usual look for the occasion without straying too far from her current image. Her lips look weird though, has she just had them done or is the nude lipstick just making me notice it for the first time?
I don’t like that dress, on anyone. It’s looks like a 50 lb patchwork quilt. And the second dress is a mess. It’s ill fitted and unflattering. What’s with the white on the side? They make a braless dress look like a bra is peeping out through the side. Very Project Runway Reject category.

Miley is trying to be classy and supportive for Liams sake, although he doesn’t deserve it. I cannot figure out who the hell Miley is anymore. Everyone close to her uses Miley for money and fame. I despise her music, but Miley works her ass off to financially support her family.
What? Liam finally let her to stand by him? Look who need help with promotion of his movie. He would not walk with her for the last few months anywhere. Then he agreed for one showing for paparazzi because people were laughing at “delusional Miley who won’t accept that her boyfriend dumped her”. And she needs to appear strong when she was promoting her big comeback. So he agreed.
Now Liam needs Miley’s help with promoting his own movie. This is the first one where he is Lead Actor. He needs it to be hit. So Miley shows up because it will bring attention to movie. They help each other.
Also I’m sure this movie will flop. We saw trailer – it’s boring. I don’t see people rush to watch it. And I still think that Liam will not make it as Lead Actor. He was o’k as supporting Gale. But being Lead and carry movie on your own shoulder is different. I don’t think Liam has it.
And I still believe that he dumped her few months ago and just agreed to stay with her publicly until she will release her album. And then they will break up officially. Just like Pattinson and Stewart. We all laughed that they will broke up after final movie will be over and they did.
The movie trailer looked awful when I saw it a few weeks back. Didn’t even realize that Amber Heard was in it until recently. I love Oldman and Ford so will rent it to just watch them. Hey Hollywood get us a movie with Gary Oldman, Harrison Ford, Al Pacino, and Robert DeNiro and have it not suck. People will watch that.

Call me cray cray, but I think Miley is mimicking her parents relationship which appears to be “open” in nature – with long periods spent apart and spent in the company of third parties. Recently, billy ray has been caught cheating but before that Tish was all up on Brett Michaels.
I suspect Miley pitched some sort of open togetherness to Liam, and he took the bait. Although, he looks rather solemn and not too happy to be next to his fiancé. He’s barely touching her waist, and he’s touching in a very polite way. No ass grabbing here.

She is trying not to show her teeth. My sis is a dentist and recongnizes that look when people conciously try not to show their teeth, for whatever reason, they feel uncomfortable about it.

She is the only thing keeping him relevant and has been. Dude has thus far shown himself to be a bland and boring as an actor. His role as gale proves nothing. Both him and his brother have little acting talent. His brother has more, but liam is a snooze. At least he’s smart enough to realize he needs miley to be able to keep enjoying the lifestyle of the rich and famous.
I can’t debate his talent because I’ve only seen THG and his role wasn’t very demanding. But he does seem far more mature than Miley and aspires to be taken seriously as an actor. IMO Miley is a detriment to his goals. I think January J was his cowards way out and Miley decided to hang on for dear life. Now he’s had to man up and end things and they will announce it as soon as it won’t damage their careers. His over it she’s pissed and so it goes.

Proenza makes some of the most hideous clothes… that is a fact and they rely on celebrity endorsment to sell, obviously. A woman can be an ideal goddess and still look like a hobo in those clothes. A potato sack does more justice. That is how terrible they are as designers.

I think they’re still together, but they’re not as close as they used to be. They (mostly Miley) have probably been trying to make the relationship work, but it probably isn’t. If the two of them break up, I believe it will be permanent this time.
