Here are some assorted photos from last night’s “Wallis Annenberg Center For The Performing Arts Inaugural Gala” in Beverly Hills. This event got one of the best turn-outs that I’ve seen in a while. It was like an awards show red carpet. Anyway, let’s get to the fashion. Charlize Theron wore Alexander McQueen. I LOVE the dress and loathe the hair. Charlie is still growing her hair out and it looks so much cuter when she doesn’t get it “done”. She looks like the Fifth Beatle here from the neck up. Neck down, she’s a goddess.
Demi Moore wore Salvatore Ferragamo (the sponsor of the event) and her “date” was James Ferragamo. Man, he’s hot, right? Demi looks… good? She’s tweaked, of course, but she looks good.
Gwen Stefani in Salvatore Ferragamo. The dress is loose and there are all those spangles, but she still looks pregnant to me.
Amy Adams in Elie Saab. Ugh. Get it out of your system now, Amy, and then you can really bring it for the awards season. Just wear all of the Elie Saab crap now.
Dita Von Teese in Carolina Herrera. Kind of boring and conservative for Dita, right?
Great color on Courteney Cox, not the best silhouette and she really needs to stop tweaking.
Freida Pinto & Dev Patel. She’s so beautiful but I’m not sure if I like this color on her.

She is stunning. In the top 3 on my list of the world’s most beautiful women. I don’t even mind the hair. Growing out is awkward, Kaiser. We’ve all been there. Don’t hate.
Why is Demi schlumping like that??? The dress would be killer, but she’s hunched. It is not good. You work hard on that body, Demi! Stand up straight and show it off!
Amy Adams face says it all. She knows. Oh yes, she knows exactly what she looks like… and it’s not good.

None of these things look good. The fact that an ex-model can somewhat pull off an otherwise questionable 80’s frock, does not shock. But it doesn’t make it stunning either.

There seems to be too much fabric on these dresses. I do like the back of Charlize’s dress though.

My girl crush is Freida Pinto. Probably not the best dressed here but she is still soo gorgeous. I love Dev’s suit.

Demi – ugh. She needs something – maybe a haircut? Her hair is pretty but she’s had the same style for waay too long.

Charlize is just gorgeous as always. Gwen looks beautiful, and Courtney Cox looks like a frozen mannequin and she needs to stop and accept the aging process already. She looks like she’s lost the ability to move her facial muscles at all. It’s a shame, she was always so pretty.
Exactly. These poor stars who repeatedly have plastic surgery in an effort to cling to their youth end up looking like they are made of plastic. Meg Ryan, Lauren Holly, Marie Osmond, even Sharon Osbourne (who used to look good but kept going and now she’s horrid). Know when to STOP, or you will end up like Joan Rivers or the cat lady!!
Charlize’s dress looks great with her styling. I love the loose hair and understated makeup with the shoulder embellishments, it’s very balanced.
Demi’s dress is yawn.
I love Gwen dress even if it is a little spaghetti monster- ish.
Dynasty wants their gown back when she’s done with it.
Everybody looks pretty great, but that assumes that Amy Adams was actually going for chunky and stumpy. That’s the healthiest I’ve seen Demi look in years.
Um Amy’s dress is beautiful. I love Elie Saab. If I was filthy rich I would wear his dresses every day, even to go buy tampons at CVS.
I’m sorry, but that dress is horrid. It doesn’t even fit her well, her breasts are all but disappeared.
All beautiful women but I don’t love any of the dresses. I think my favorite is Gwen’s. I do love the color and fabric of Courteney’s. I like Demi’s dress but she slouching and I don’t think Charlize’s is flattering in the back.
Charlize looks like a beautiful, polished statue — and I would never put Charlize & tragic in the same sentence together.

Me too. Extremely exciting artists whether they are performing or just walking the red carpet…. They far outshine most everyone in movies nowadays, IMO.
I’m wondering who does the tweaking on Demi? She is one of the few people who manage to get tweaked right. Especially now she is back to a more healthy weight.

Yeah, Demi looks great. Healthy and fit. Whatever work she’s had done looks natural. This is the best she’s looked in years.
Demi’s face does look good non? not overly tweaked or anything. Freida Pinto confuses me, why do her clothes rarely fit her properly? I mean she’s gorgeous but there’s something off with the tailoring of the dress imo

For a moment I thought Demi had too much done. She doesn’t look like herself much in that first picture. The second one is much better, though. So, I’ll blame it on a bad camera angle.

I think Charlize’s hair looks great; it’s super feminine and romantic. I love her whole look. Freida’s dress is beautiful too, although I don’t think the makeup or hair go with the dress. It’s nice to see she and Dev Patel are still going strong 🙂

Charlize is a goddess and looks great regardless but that gown is doing her no favours.
Charlize Theron is the classic beauty of our generation. She can’t be anything less than stunning unless she tried to transform into Aileen Wuornos. She has the poise and stature to pull off his elegaant gown. I don’t mind the hair. Give her a break. She’s growing it out. How can you say from the neck up it’s not good? Her greatest asset is her beautiful face. Angelina Jolie could never pull off all the hairstyles that Charlize could.
I’m in love with Charlize’s hair, it’s just lovely on her head. I don’t like the dress but since she’s the one wearing it, it looks good to me.
