Here are some photos of Gisele Bundchen at last night’s Wall Street Journal “Innovator of the Year” Awards at MoMA in NYC. Gisele was the cover girl on the WSJ’s “Innovator Issue” (I’m including some of the Terry Richardson photoshoot at the end of the post), so I guess that’s why they asked her to the event. Gisele wore Atelier Versace. Thoughts? I like the color. And Gisele has the (crazy!) body for Versace. But… it’s sort of weird, right? Obviously, Gisele looks fierce, but I feel like whatever is happening with her boobs is very uncomfortable. Still, I can’t believe she’s had two babies. Crazy.
Here are some photos from Daft Punk and Gisele’s cover shoot for the WSJ Magazine’s “Innovators Issue”. The shoot is by Terry Richardson, which means that it’s pretty basic. Surprisingly enough, it’s not grossing me out even though the lighting, as always, reminds me of budget p0rn. Mostly I’m sketched out by how Daft Punk is getting kind of gropey with Gisele. Her body is insane. I’ve always said this about her, body of a goddess face of a horse.

But back to her body, the woman looks amazing. Especially in those nude photos she did for Vogue Paris that everyone’s talking about now.
Wow! You captured my thoughts precisely. Her body is amazing; I am filled with complete envy whenever I review photographs of her … until I see her face. Then, I’m quite happy with myself (I’m shorter, so it’s hard not to envy that tall, lithe figure). So, I just cannot use the word gorgeous in the same sentence as Gisele, unless it applies only to her body.
Her face isn’t pretty at all. It isn’t even model-weird looking. It’s just plain.

I’ve never been a fan of her torso (it’s very straight and narrow — this dress actually gives her a waist she doesn’t usually have). But her legs are flawless.

I know, her body is perfect for fashion. But, for instance, I find Miranda Kerr’s torso prettier (it’s long as well, but there’s more of a waist).
Her legs, as I already said, are flawless. And I don’t think she’s a “buttaface” — yes, her features are getting harsher as she ages, but she has a pretty face, in my opinion.
omg totally agree. She’s always posing sideways to create a waist, but if you watch her walk on the runway, she has no waist. So yes she does have a great bod but she’s not really an hourglass. I think Halle Berry has the perfect bod, for example.
We should all be so lucky. I think she is beyond gorgeous.

I think she looks Greek… and I’ve always thought Greek women were gorgeous; Permanent tans and strong features… I don’t think she looks “horsey” but she is exotic!

I think she has exactly the body to wear this dress. This dress is not for someone with a large chest, although I can see some of the fuller-figured people trying to wrestle into. As for looks, I’ve never thought she was all that. Her face is long and narrow, and I prefer faces that are a bit softer. But to each his own, and she has had a great career.

Very few of the supermodels were classically beautiful. For arguments sake I’ll use Grace Kelly as an example. Christy Turlington was close and Naomi Campbell too but they all had interesting (gorgeous) faces to go with their impressive figures. Not to mention the X factor Gisele undoubtably has… Until she speaks at least.

I must say, I love the designs with the Daft Punk helmets but yeah, I’m not sure how she fits the theme at all. Her body is amazing. I think her face is beautiful and unique, I like that she doesn’t fit the “classic beauty” bill.

I always find it interesting how people here think she has an awful face. The general consensus is that being a fashion supermodel (the real kind not the sports illustrated variety of squashed boobs and high cut thongs) means she should look like a Barbie doll. It’s not a beauty pageant!!! Kate Moss has a rictus smile, Helena Christensen looks weird sometimes, Claudia Schiffer has buck teeth. Not talking about Gisele anymore but sometimes distinctly ‘wrong’ features make someone look more attractive. Anyway back to Gisele: banging body, interesting features, and speaks her mind rather than what her PR manager tells her to say.

The thing is, she doesn’t have an interesting face like the models you’ve mentioned. I don’t find KAte’s face pretty, but it’s very interesting and versatile. Gisele doesn’t have that. She’s just plain.
Maybe not for you… I feel similarly about Kate Moss!
