Let me be honest I haven’t watched the Last Spiderman earnest and adorable as though these two might be, Because I STILL dont understand why Spiderman, which is still showing in TNT, USA Etc etc etc with Totally different people, and which was very good already, needed a remake/reimagining/prequel/whatever
you’re not missing much. andrew garfield makes a pretty good peter parker but it’s beyond me why they had to do ANOTHER origins story. i have no problem with more spiderman films with different actors, but there are multiple comic book arcs they could have chosen. no one needed to see uncle ben die yet again.

The Garfield spider man is from another set of Spider man comics. Marvel has alternate universes for the same heroes. In another spider man universe spider man dies and a kid takes over in his place.Andrew and Tobey are from alternate universes. Uncle Ben indeed dies, but not always the same way.
On a personal note the fat shop clerk mike barra is a personal friend. I have 1 degree of seperation from Spider man!

Dane De Haan is getting some traction man!!!! I’m glad because I think he is an awesome actor!!! He was amazing in Chronicle and looks like he’ll be amazing in this!!! (Tho I must admit I never watched the reboot) may watch this one tho.

Feeling a profound sadness at his passing. When he was sick recently, his passing anticipated by the news etc. Then he got better and its been quiet so it feels unexpected and shocking.
A great man. Mandela is Free. RIP Sir.
Hope it’s better than the last year’s one, which was completely unremarkable.
Rest in peace Mr. Mandela. You were a beautiful soul that is no longer ours but just as President Obama, I give thanks that you lived.
