Kris Jenner ‘forced’ Khloe to exercise at a gym when she was 4 years old

A few weeks ago, Khloe Kardashian told a horrible story to Cosmo UK. The story was, obviously, about her mother, Lucifer’s Homegirl. Kris Jenner always had big dreams of pimping out her daughters, you see, but Khloe just wouldn’t get with the program. Khloe was always the black sheep of the Kardashian girls (possibly because Khloe wasn’t really a Kardashian?). Mostly, Kris was critical of the way Khloe looked. Khloe said that she overheard Kris telling friends that Khloe needed a nose job. That was when Khloe was just 9 years old. What’s worse is that Khloe told the story as some kind of “how I learned to love myself” tale. Khloe would have been better off being raised by a wolf, methinks. Anyway, In Touch has a new horrible story about Lucifer’s Homegirl and her awful parenting skills:

Kris Jenner’s obsession with looks has reached a new high. The Kardashian matriarch not only wanted Khloé Kardashian to get a nose job at age 9 — she had her working out at the young age of 4!

In the new issue of In Touch, on newsstands now, Kris’ sister — and Khloé’s aunt — Karen Houghton recalls how Kris would force Khloé, who’s struggled with her weight her entire life, to exercise.

“Khloé might have been 4 or 5 years old when Kris would have me take her to classes to get exercise,” Karen tells In Touch. “I would take her a couple of times a week.”

Karen’s revelation follows Khloé’s admission in a recent interview that when she was just a little girl, Kris wanted young Khloé, then a grade-schooler, to get a nose job! “When I was around 9, I overheard [my mom] telling her friend I needed a nose job,” Khloé reveals in a bombshell new interview. “I was shocked; I hadn’t even thought about it [before].”

Khloé has done all she can to build up her own self, but friends fear she’ll never be able to tune Kris out completely. “Your parents are supposed to be there for you,” says the insider. “You don’t hurt your daughter like that.”

“Words are the most powerful weapon. They can leave scars forever,” Khloé has said.

[From In Touch Weekly]

Aren’t many 3 and 4 year olds a little bit chubby? I’ve seen photos of Khloe as a kid, and she just looked like a kid. She wasn’t obese. She’s never been obese. She’s always been a tall, rangy girl and her body type is a little bit thicker and more athletic/muscular than her sisters. Besides, at 4 years old, aren’t kids just eating what they’re given? And really, why are we forcing these body image and weight discussions on a 4 year old?!?! Four-year-olds should not be on diets or told that they need to “work out”.

Anyone else and I would be skeptical but with this bottom feeder it’s entirely possible. She probably sold her soul for photo-shop.

  2. emma says:

I don’t know, I am hardly a PMK apologist but I went to classes at a gym at 4 years old too. It was called KinderGym and it was a fun activity not a weight loss tool. Isn’t this aunt known to us for previous assertions about the Kardashian childhoods? I’m just saying this one seems a bit of a stretch, and I am usually the first to enjoy a touch of schadenfreud where this family is concerned.

    • springingforward says:

It is a positive parenting moment if the goal is joyous activity at the gym; it is another superficial moment for Kris when none of the other kids went, and the goal was weight “containment.”
I don’t know about the aunt’s previous assertions, but where there is smoke there is fire and if they fit into the vapid narcissistic life view that belongs to Kris Jenner, then they are probably true.

    • BackstageBitchy says:

This. Kids doing classes doesn’t mean they’re being forced to do SoulCycle! It means they’re playing soccer or doing Gymborie (so?) or taking gymnastics or whatever. Must it doesn’t say Chloe was FORCED. It implies thar AUNT felt forced. I’m as contemptuous Of PMK as the next person, but this is a stretch…

This may have posted to the wrong comment, but I hope you can follow my drift…

  3. Frenzy says:

Next she’ll say that PMK wanted to sell her soul to the devil. She’ll say anything for attention. She’s publicity hungry like Kim! I don’t see the fuss about Khloe being the most honest or nicest Kardashian. She is rude and was even mean to Kris H. I don’t think she’s fat but I noticed as she’s getting slimmer her ass is getting bigger! I won’t be surprised if she’s following dear sister’s footsteps and had some fat injected in her badonkadonk! And don’t get me started on that annoying baby voice!

    • missykittens says:

Thanks frenzy… Someone who agrees with me! Everyone calls khloe the nice one and I’m like what? She is rude and mean!

I also went to gym classes when I was that age… Its not like you’re going to body pump… Its a social thing where you learn how to dance/swim/gymnastics etc. Don’t most people do that?

  4. LAK says:

I think children should be active and play and go to the gym no matter what size they are.

I don’t think children should do any of the above to lose weight.

However, this anecdote about PMK rings true based upon everything employees, friends and family say about her.

    • Leah says:

children should play and be active but they don’t need to go to the gym.

    • Snarkweek says:

X it is a wonderful idea for children to go to the gym. They learned at an early age how important and fun it is to be physically active and fit. They get to use up a lot of kid energy and a safe and positive environment and they get to spend quality time with their parents. It promotes a fun and healthy life style that has nothing to do with weight. My little niece used to go to the gym with me and I still have such great memories of that. She looked so cute trying to hold up her tennis racket 🙂

  5. Lucy2 says:

I’m surprise she didn’t make her get lipo and a spray tan for her kindergarten graduation.

  6. Birdie says:

It must feel horrible if your mother favours your sibling and I think that is why Khloe is always so rude to Kris. Deep down she never forgave her.

    • TG says:

Yep and Khouryney too can barely tolerate PMK. They have little respect for PMK and rightfully so, however, Khlor is always out defending her family in the rudest possible ways. And this story is stupid because everyone takes their young children to gym classes. Physical exercise is important.

  7. Neelyo says:

Kris Jenner is the Ultimate Pageant Mom.

  8. Welldun says:

The daughters probably should all be in therapy to counter the effects of being turned out by the head narcissist. I used to think Khloe was the least nasty of that crew but since the “charities” information came out…meh, not much sympathy for her

    • We Are All Made of Stars says:

What charities? I’m not a massive Kardashian follower.

      • Welldun says:

The Kardashian church is one, and whenever these people go on ebay it turns out their charitable contributions are really being kept. Khloe and Lamar’s was set up by him if I remember right. Not much charity, mostly profit for the Ktrash. They are all basically grifters.

    • wheezy says:

That totally rubbed me wrong too. But they all funnel money dressed as a “donation” to the “church” they “founded,” to keep their money in a tax shelter. When kim and her natural non weaved hair talk about donating to that church it burns me up.
Poor Khloe though for real. I don’t think she is as strong as she portrays, I think she is a follower. Look at how PMK does the younger girls, the one w all of the bikini modeling contracts is her prized possesion, the other one is like her tag along. PMK obviously has major faves.

  9. Skye says:

Grendel’s Mother strikes again. Run, Harry, run. There’s only One Direction: AWAY.

Lock the door and check it twice,
Stash the cash and hide your ice,
Mask your face, wear baggy clothes,
    draw melanomas on your nose!
For after all the lights are out,
    the rav’nous K-Beast flies about!
In search of youthful beauties’ blood,
to stave off aging’s creeping crud,
and horny witless lads of means,
    to fertilize the future kweens!
    Blow the candles out tonight,
for if the Dragon sees your light,
You’ll wake up with a teenaged wife,
or drained of collagen, and life.

  10. Samtha says:

Couldn’t she have just put her in dance classes or something? Something where she’d get the exercise, but it’s less obvious that she’s being sent to lose weight? Kris Jenner is the worst.

    • MrsB says:

Right. All kids need to get exercise, regardless of their weight. But stuff like riding bikes, running around on a playground, swimming, etc…stuff that is FUN and they enjoy. This story, coupled with the nose job story-I’m surprised Khloe has turned out as well as she has.

    • idk says:

Rob was very over-weight as a child, why is there no mention of him being forced to exercise?

  11. Neffie says:

NO Shade at all but i have always thought that Khloe kind of favoured Rosie O’donell (and there is nothing wrong with that)

  12. Christo says:

One of these girls is going to break free from the group eventually. Though my bets would be on Kim being the first honorary Diana Ross/Beyonce to break to leave, I’m not entirely sure now that it won’t be Khloe at some point. Of course, there is the whole family dynamic, which tends to hold these bonds tighter and more securely than a manufactured group.

    • Elisabeth says:

Kim will never leave momma. I don’t think she takes a pee without Kris’ approval. It will be Kourtney or Khloe first.

I know this has been said before but there is no way Robert Kardashian is Khloe’s dad. Kris probably punished Khloe (subconciously) for having to lie to her husband.

      • idk says:

It’s seems Kris isn’t that kind to Kourtney either or Kylie. She favors Kim and Kendal because they are the prettiest. It’s sad when a mother admits to having favorites. I bet Rob’s secret wish was to be born a beautiful girl so that his mom would give a crap about him.

      • Yvette says:

I don’t think she’s particularly nice to Kendall either, as the fame whore is weak in that one.

      • me me me says:

        @ Yvette

I just recently watched an old episode where Kendall was staring out modelling and Kylie got really jealous and said “You guys always favor Kendall !!!”. She then stormed out of the room. I think in Kris’s eyes, Kendall is the new Kim. No, in fact Kendall is a better Kim because Kendall can be a legit model whereas Kim was too short and didn’t have a model’s body.

    • Frenzy says:

I doubt that they will leave Kris. I don’t think anybody can force them esp Khloe to appear on their stupid reality show if they don’t want to. They are all slaves to fame and money! @Elisabeth And Khloe looks so much like PMK’s hairdresser Alex Roldan 🙂

    • We Are All Made of Stars says:

It’s going to be the Jenner model girl. Her Mom may be evil, but she does have brains and spirit, and ironically it will be those inherited traits that will make skinny Jenner girl up and decide she’s had enough.

  13. Patricia says:

Yes all little ones need exercise but unless a child is already extremely obese there’s no way of really telling if a child is going to have weight issues at the age of 4. I was a wiry little 4 year old but was chubby by 10 and have had a hard time with my weight throughout my life. My little sister was one of the chubbiest toddlers ever but was bony by 10 and has never been anything but very thin as an adult.
It just seems like PMK has always seen problems with Khloe, problems that don’t really exist but that need to be “fixed”. PMK is so insane.

    • We Are All Made of Stars says:

I agree with you. My Mom, who is 5’8 and has finally hit 135 pounds in her old age, was told to put me on a diet as a baby when the truth was that I was still on breastmilk. My Dad almost went ballistic. At three or four, I had some meat on me like Shirley Temple, and ever after I was that person who could eat like a fraternity brother and be a size five or six. I don’t think Khloe met the clinical definition of overweight, she just has a bigger body type and skeleton and instead of having something encouraging to say about it to Khloe, her mom was upset and displeased by it. How sad.

    • Mitch Buchanan Rocks! says:

It is hard to be around a person, whether it be a parent, spouse, friend, who thinks of you as a ‘fixer upper” and offer up constant criticism so you can “make yourself better” – inventing problems that don’t exist – so they can control you by you having to constantly ‘fix’ yourself to please them. Khloes last sentence was very true – words can wound deeply.

  14. Josephine says:

I’m a no comment on the story, but I have always wondered if Kris secretly resents Khloe because Khloe is a reminder of Kris’s affair. But that would require that Kris has some sort of conscious, so I’m torn. Maybe Kris resents Khloe because Khloe is the proof of the affair.

  15. Zigggy says:

    That’s so f*cking sad.

  16. Nicolette says:

Yes children should have physical activity such as running around, skating and biking. But I can see this being about image, I mean we are talking about Kris as opposed to a normal mother. While you want your kids to be healthy, you are supposed to love them unconditionally. Hearing that she wanted Khloe to get a nose job and who knows what else, that probably sent a different message to her daughter. And not a good one at that.

  17. BendyWindy says:

No shade from me. Lots of parents, myself included, take their kids to the gym. Mine do kids Zumba, not to lose weight but because it’s fun and they need to burn some energy. Unless Kris called Khloe fat or told her she was going on a diet, I don’t think she did anything wrong here just for simply taking her to the gym. That in and of itself isn’t harmful. How you approach it with the child matters.

    • Kim1 says:

If it was just for fun than all three girls should have attended. This story only mentions Khloe attending.

  18. Martyn says:

A gym could offer a kid friendly class– no different from signing up your kid for soccer for gymnastics or swim lessons. Or PMK could be fat shaming her 4 year old. Sadly, they are both possibilities.

  19. Shelby says:

Sorry for the stupid Q…but what is PMK?

  20. CunningPeople says:

Why doesn’t the general public understand that they diss each other to keep the drama going ? The public ‘ooohhhs’ and ‘aaahhhs” over the one who is playing victim. You think they would be so thick with each other if they were really hurt by each other. So stop giving them relevance.

    • idk says:

They take turns being the “victim”. This week it’s a split between Kim and Khloe. Stay tuned, more stories (falisies) will come out in the next week as their new season is starting soon.

Next week, the victim will be Rob again. Did you see how he’s absent from the promo commercials? Has he left the show? Is he in hiding because of his weight. I mean really? To this family, the most embarrassing thing they can do is gain weight. Wow.

      • Moi says:

You’re probably right. I had never actually sat and watched the show before New Year’s Day. But Khloe must be a great actress, because she seemed visibly upset at certain times with those in her family circle. They are family and I’m sure love each other a lot (not more than themselves however). What’s sad, is that’s all she’s known, so why would she stray from them? They are all close it seems, but very dysfunctional.

  21. TherapyCranes says:

I was a somewhat chubby child and my mother had me dieting from a really early age. She would belittle me because I wasn’t a size zero like my sister. I was always thick. I had a bubble butt. My mom would criticize my bum in pants and tell me how fat I looked. I am still trying to deal with these issues and love my body. It was a long hard road to accept that I had curves. My current SO loves the fact that I have a round bum and hips and that’s helped a lot to accept myself. I wish I could do it on my own. I feel sorry for Khloe if her mother really did make her feel how I felt as a child.

  22. Esmerelda says:

I have essentially the same body type as Khloe- same height, same build- and have never considered myself “fat”. When I read comments from others calling her a Wookie or Sasquatch, I have to admit that it makes me wonder about the way others perceive me. Body shaming is toxic.

    • cheshire cat says:

I am the same height as khloe & instead of her (sexy!) bum, I have 38dd chest. after my pregnancy last year (gained weight all over, but mainly baby belly & boobs) I’ve been exercising to tone up & firm a curvy belly that never has (& never will) been flat. I am so thankful I gained weight evenly, but at 5’9 & 160lbs right now (got up to 195lbs the day I delivered) I feel slightly uncomfortable in my own skin. I love myself & know the remaining 10-15lbs will eventually come off BUT standing next to my 5’2, 120lb mom… I feel like a gigantic being. I can imagine how khloe feels next to petite kourtney & kim – it sucks!
I guess my roundabout point is that khloe has a beautiful body… she’s been working out a lot lately & actually is an inspiration to me in a way cos you can tell she’s toned up all over & lost weight in a positive, smart way. it is hard enough to be a larger person with petite family members let alone have an evil mom like PMK belittling you. good for her if she’s able to tune out that negativity & be her own body type… as superficial as that may be.

  23. Kelly says:

Well the quote mentioned classes, not the gym. I don’t see anything wrong with keeping kids active as it makes them healthier.

    • me me me says:

Yeah but it’s wrong to single one child out. All four of them should have gone to the classes.

  24. pink elephant says:

Ah, I know this so well. Not the money and the publicity, but the rough details coming out now are consistent. Kris “why are you famous” Jenner is a narcissistic parent; poisonous and devastating for any child, whether favored or maligned. (Public persona vs. private abuse, covert or otherwise.) Narcissists thrive in their private tyrannies – bless Khloe for breaking the silence. Poor kids.

  25. AMBER5ASH says:

Khloe looks like O.J Simpson. Ouch

  26. Zana says:

This is all PR for Khloe people. Do not buy it. Why didn’t Khloe dislose all of these stories 3-4 years ago or anytime in their reality shows. THis could have been a selling point. At the moment, Kris has the worst reputation. Khloe is the victim now because of her divorce etc. All sisters want to distant themselves from Kris (but only in the media) so they can survive and continue to sell their products, otherwise they are done for good. They now want public to feel bad for them and say that all their bad image is because of their mother and blah blah. This family is the most manipulative family in the whole world. That is all I can say. Cannot wait how the trial with Ellen will end.

    • idk says:

You make a good point, and Kris gets her 10% no matter what. As long as the Kardashians stay in the news, they are happy. It doesn’t matter if it’s good or bad, just as long as people are buying and watching.

  27. Moi says:

I was a bit hungover on New Year’s Day, couldn’t reach the remote, was lazy and didn’t want to move, so the tv was on E! and the K show came on. I must say, I fell in love with Khloe. I think she’s super pretty and her skin is amazing. I felt bad for her, those assholes that are her family pretty much harass her about everything and try to control her decisions. In one episode (I think I watched 3), she told Kim Kardashian(sp?) off when Kim kept pushing her about going to an adoption lawyer. I’m not sure how she puts up with them. She seems to be the only sane one in the bunch.

  28. Lauraq says:

I’m all for taking kids to the gym, fitness classes, etc, as well as teaching them about healthy eating habits. The thing is, the emphasis is ‘Exercise is fun AND keeps you healthy’ and ‘Veggies are yummy AND nourish your body’ not ‘Lose some damn weight, Lard-O’ and I think we all know which one of these Kris is.
