Here are some photos from last night’s UK premiere of The Two Faces of January, the Hitchcockian thriller starring Viggo Mortensen, Kirsten Dunst and Oscar Isaac. I’m including photos of all of them, plus one pic of director Hossein Amini and the cast, which also includes Daisy Bevan.
Let’s talk about Kiki first. I really don’t like this dress. I’ve never really cared for Kiki’s sense of style, but I understand that she usually nails her “look,” but I just think this boring, shiny Vivienne Westwood LBD is such a budget choice for her. It looks like a repurposed garbage bag. The darting might be the cheapest thing I’ve seen all week, and it hurts me to say that because I usually love Westwood’s designs. Something nice: I like the red lip here. She really pulls that off.
As for Viggo and Oscar Isaac… damn, these are two attractive men. Oscar Isaac is just so handsome, verging on pretty. Usually I don’t dig on brown-eyed men, but hot damn. And Viggo… well, he’s 55 years old and his hair has been unfortunate for months, but I’m sure there are many of you who will bang him until his hair improves. And you know what? I honestly don’t mind the greying, fuzzy, unkempt beard. It looks fluffy! I kind of want to touch it.

Viggo is a no, but Oscar is a yes. And I don’t mind Kristen’s dress, but I hate the shoes.

Oscar Isaac, yes. Viggo, no. I don’t think Oscar looks ‘pretty’ at all. He is very masculine. “Pretty” is like Rob Lowe. I don’t like the black dress.

I like Oscar but his suit looks like its straight off the rack at JC Penny. I’m struck at how nicely Dunst is aging. She looks pretty, confident, and is starting to fill out a little in this nicely adult, very feminine sort of way. Viggo is always a go. Anytime. Any place.

Viggo is a forever yes for me. It’s not just about the looks, I just love the vibe he puts down and the fact that not only is he a good actor-but he’s intelligent and I love the artwork he does as well. Oscar is a good looking dude too.
Kiki is giving me Amy locane vibes here. Dunno why. Maybe because I just watched Crybaby.
