Fine, we’ll do another two posts about this today. It’s okay, I enjoy the Solange/Beyonce/Jay-Z scandal and I think it’s a little bit weird that we still don’t really have a clue (a solid clue) about what went down. Everybody has a theory, and we’re getting deep into the conspiracy weeds at this point. Here are some facts that we do know, in no particular order:
*Just a few hours ago, Beyonce published a bunch of “throwback” Instagram photos of herself and Solange. I’m including a few in this post.
*Incidentally, Bey also IG’d a photo of herself and Rihanna, which I guess slaps the Rihanna conspiracy down. Plus, Rihanna and Bey got the cover of Vogue’s special edition for the Met Gala, and the cover is the same image Bey used.
*The tape was not leaked by Beyonce, Jay-Z or Solange. Fact. The Standard Hotel would not be freaking out this way if it was all part of some business arrangement.
*Jay-Z and Beyonce added more dates to their tour. They are solid, at least in the business part of their lives.
*There were widespread rumors that Solange “deleted every image of Beyonce” from her Instagram, but that’s not the case. I think Solange deleted some photos, but left others up.
*Yesterday, Jay-Z and Solange went jewelry shopping together at Mr. Flawless, a high-end New York jewelry store. TMZ got the tip – they spent 20 minutes together browsing, and they left without buying anything or trying anything on. TMZ says they weren’t interacting much, but I guess it’s a good sign that Solange wasn’t trying to kick him in balls again.
… And that’s all we really know for sure. Those are a lot of tea leaves to read, and you’ve got to wonder if someone is telling Beyonce, “Hey, you should just issue one quick, simple statement about this so the speculation doesn’t overwhelm everything else you’re trying to do.”
If you can stand it, Hollywood Life also had some theories about Solange’s emotions and all of that – go here to read. According to HL’s sources, “Solange is upset and feels betrayed that Beyonce didn’t come to her defense when footage of the elevator fight went viral. She wanted Beyonce to speak up on her behalf and say something like, ‘Don’t assume anything.’”

My first thought too
There are only 2 things I really want to know:
1 – What was Solange saying?
2 – What was the payday on that footage?
Payday was apparently $250,000k can you imagine i didn’t think TMZ pay that much for pics, did Rihanna’s pic from her assault get like $25,000-30k?
I think the audio will be released soon. Maybe next week. The person who sold the video is probably shopping the version with the audio right now.
The funny thing is that TMZ — I’m pretty sure — is bankrolled by Time Warner. So they do have oodles of cash at their disposal for things of great value like this.
I was wondering about the audio. Would that be recorded by the hotel, too?

it’s sort of funny how everyone thinks old Hollywood studio control of gossip is long dead and the no 1 purveyor of gossip is bankrolled by a studio…just like in the old Hollywood.
Most security cameras don’t record sound.
I doubt any audio exists for an elevator security camera.
Like i said before no couple can shock me anymore unless the Queen and Prince Philip publicly split. There is photo evidence to show both Jay and B have removed their IV tattoos.
What does IV tattoo signify for if i may ask?

No, they named the daughter after IV by calling her IVY, so it’s the other way around. IV/4 was already significant to them. And, I think I must also need a hobby. lol. But I have only read about them here on CB…

Solange needs to make it up to Jay Z for attacking him. I don’t care what he could have said. What she did is not excusable.
I don´t think that they are trying to make up to Solange but more like calm down the crazy one. Buy her an expensive gift, hug her on social media..

I don’t get Beyonce’s strategy with posting the pics of Rihanna and Solange. It’s Rachel Roy, not Rihanna, who is taking the heat.
I think that’s what Beyonce is saying by posting these pictures. It’s not the Rihanna story as it was reported.
I don’t buy the jewelry story. I look at Solange’s Twitter and there was something about her going home to New Orleans. Why would she come back 24 hours later to go shopping with her brother-in-law?
I want to know what is happening with the hotel and the security staff because of this leak – given the level of celebrity and the privacy expectations for any staff attending, you can bet there is a meltdown of Wintour proportions going on. And I don’t blame her, I sure as heck would too.
Solange does seem petulant and entitled when she doesn’t get her way. Even if Beyoncé did issue a statement saying what Solange supposedly wants, the bottom line is Solange looks bad because she lost it. Don’t blame the mirror because your face is ugly.

Where is the tattoo that Beyonce used to have of Jay Z on her ring finger? I feel all is not well in Hip Hop/R&B land as they really want people to think. Solange just seems like the angry sister and always has.
She still has the tattoo. It’s reported that she’s just had the tattoo darkened.
I’ve disliked Beyonce ever since I saw the episode of Punked featuring her. She was so fake and showed no reaction or care when she thought she ruined the kids Christmas…made herself out to be a real tool.
Yes! My first real impression of Beyonce was that she was plastic, through and through.
That’s funny. I remember that and how, when she saw the tree go down and the camera flashes start, she looked stunned and then immediately smiled. On the one hand, I admire her perpetual poise in the face of scrutiny. On the other hand, all of that effort to maintain an image cannot be good for one’s health.
Just because two media savy business women and attention whores are standing together does not mean they like each other or some effery is not afoot. This is, after all the celeb industry where most everything is fake and for show and press.
I doubt they will release a statement.
