Jennifer Lopez and Casper Smart allegedly broke up for good in late May/early June. When J.Lo announced the split in early June, her people made it sound like they had been done for about a month, but most of us thought that she was just trying to save face considering Casper had been having some kind of emotional/physical affair with a transsexual model (which was revealed in early June).
Jennifer has spent her post-Casper summer unattached. It’s probably the longest she’s been single in years and years. Jennifer is not the kind of woman who likes to be alone, but J.Lo-as-a-single-girl seemed pretty fun. She’s been hanging out with girlfriends, stepping out looking cute and generally speaking, this summer has been the most I’ve liked her in a long time.
And now it’s over. Because J.Lo can’t be alone for an entire summer. Because Casper Smart was somehow able to work his questionable charms (????) on her again and managed to weasel (!) his way back into her good graces. They are together again. I guess. Why didn’t you listen to me and get on David Gandy’s Junk when you had the chance?!
So, what do you think? Casper and J.Lo are totally back together and totally getting married? Or is this just some backsliding, post-breakup shame-boning that she hoped we wouldn’t see?

Why would she want to go the Janet route? Janet’s career was basically over. I can understand why she made that choice, but JLo has a hot career. I think she is at the height of her popularity. Why fade away when you are on such a roll? Just make a better choice in companion. The guy obviously does something that she likes. There is no accounting for taste. It’s not always the most obvious choice that rings our bells.
Janet & Whitney Houston were offered the AI spot before JLO. Whitney sadly turned it down but then after seeing how it helped JLO was in talks to possible fill the seat that next season. Janet was offered it too before JLO and turned it down, she just didn’t want to do it. I think Janet basically needed a break after all she went through the past few years.
But that said ,I don’t think JLO needs to chase another failed relationship or failed marriage, she really may need to seek some counseling about why she can’t ever be on her own and always needs a relationship going, even if it’s a bad one.
No matter who JLO gets with or marries, until she sorts her own issues out, all of these relationships will continue to be messy and fail. IMO
After the whole transsexual hooker fiasco, Jezebel put out an article about how the media was inaccurate on this subject, and that it’s only people who like women who like transsexual women (yes, even though there is a penis…) it surprised me but now that info has settled in and I think it’s probably true. My friend has a sex crazy bf (which makes her unsure actually) always wanting to see (female) strippers, watch porn, contacts chicks and tries to pick up new ones when they are on a break, no interest in dating or hooking up with men, but he likes to watch trans porn and even tried trans hookers, and liked it (while single,) which made my friend wonder if he was gay, but I’m pretty sure this (having sex with transsexual women) is more of a kink for very horny or bored straight guys, then something a gay or bi man would do for the sake of liking men.

So after a month of being alone, JLO said, hell, no, and went back to Casper until she finds the next one. I have friends like her, literally have to have the next one lined up as their jump off. She had no choice but to dump Casper, when she was obviously still with him, because he humiliated her publicly. She would have looked like a fool staying with him. She will never admit she’s seeing him now. She will say they are just friends.

I think they are just spending time together as friends now. He was always good to her kids and as a mom I’m sure she appreciates that quality. Perhaps he’s like a part-time stepfather/family friend now. The main thing I find a bit worrying is that they’re all pretty horrendous and she seems to never be single, so I feel for her as it doesn’t seem healthy. I was watching E’News yesterday.. Leah R was on and they tried to ask her about Jennifer and Casper.. and the way Leah acted it felt to me like Jennifer and Casper were in fact together.. I think she could or would have said something like they are great friends. That would have been a easy statement.. but she really acted strange like they were in fact together.
