Johnny Depp and Orlando Bloom at the “Pirates: At World’s End” premiere

Why is it that I swoon whenever I see pictures of Johnny Depp? He’s not my type, I’m usually not into the long-haired boho type, but he’s got those piercing eyes and you know he’s such a decent guy.

Orlando Bloom, on the other hand, is undeniably hot but he has some maturing to do before he’ll do it for me. He looks like a two episode drop-in on “The O.C.” in that outfit, and if I didn’t know who he was I wouldn’t look twice at him.

Both Depp and Bloom were seen interacting with fans at the premiere of the third Pirates installment at Disney Land in Anaheim, CA on Saturday.

Keira Knightley was a no-show, as she was stuck in Europe filming The Edge of Love. I thought that film was called The Best Time of Our Lives, but maybe they’ve changed the working title at this point.

Geoffrey Rush walked the red carpet with his pet monkey from the film on his shoulder while Keith Richards compared the experience of attending the film’s premiere to an acid trip, saying “I feel like I’m on a sort of flashback acid trip.”

Johnny Depp thought Richard’s comments were funny. He praised the Rolling Stones’ guitarist’s acting ability in an earlier interview, saying he nailed scenes in about two takes. He summed up Richard’s comments, saying “Disneyland is all about the imagination, and that sort of psychedelia can go in any direction, can’t it? It can be quite dark, and it can be quite light and perfect here at the happiest place on Earth with the giant mice.”

Fans paid up to $1,500 a head to attend the premiere of the film, with proceeds going to charity. The second film wasn’t well reviewed and I know I didn’t particularly like it, but it was a huge hit at the box office and this one is sure to break records too.

Most all of the stars except Johnny Depp are ready to hang up their hats after this film, with both Orlando Bloom and Keira Knightley saying they want to move on. The director says as long as Johnny Depp is on board, there’s a possibility of a fourth film.

Also pictured at the premiere are Teri Hatcher, Emma Roberts, Wilmer Valderamma (who is the voice of Handy Manny on the Disney Channel), Stacy Keibler, Chad Michael Murray, Kobe Bryant, Chow Yun Fat, and Cuba Gooding Jr.
