Natalie Portman in Paul McCartney’s new video

Natalie Portman plays a ghost in Paul McCartney’s new video “Dance Tonight”. She pops out of a box containing a banjo that’s been delivered to him and follows him around the house while he plays. McCartney seems oblivious to Portman and the other ghosts wrecking havok in his country home, while the postman, who delivered the banjo, is scared by the poltergeists.

At one point Portman steals the banjo and takes it back to her box, pulling McCartney in with her. It’s a pretty original video. The song is one of those little feel good diddies that’s cute but kind of forgettable.

McCartney said he asked Portman to be in his video, and just called her up and said “I’m Stella’s dad.”

Portman is rumored to be dating Saturday Night Live comic Andy Samberg. Her on-off relationship with Gael García Bernal is said to be over.

Paul McCartney’s bitter divorce with harpie Heather Mills just got a little more bearable. The two were said to have a quick lunch with their daughter Bea, three, with Heather promising to attend Paul’s 65th birthday next month for the sake of the toddler. Heather has supposedly said that she won’t pursue a career in America so that she and Paul and both be near their daughter, while Paul has given her a $2 million interim settlement so that she can “make ends meet” before their divorce is finalized and she hits the jackpot.
