Octomom says she was pregnant, “hormonal” during desperate 911 call

TMZ has audio of Octomom Nadya Suleman calling 911 after her five year old son, JJ, went missing for an hour last year. Suleman really loses it and is understandably crying “where’s my son?” Toward the end of the call she’s saying that she’s going to kill herself. After she repeats it several times the 911 operator asks her to not say that in front of her other children and to keep herself together. Nadya’s son comes back while she’s on the phone with 911 and she is choking and sobbing. The child had just gone for a walk with his nanny. It really makes you feel for her, and it also shows that she’s susceptible to getting overwhelmed and freaking out despite the kind of unflappable clueless demeanor she presents to the press.

There is audio of a second 911 call in which one of her kids calls 911, hangs up, and then the operator calls back to see what’s wrong. A child answers the phone and says there’s a babysitter there. The grandmother eventually gets on the line. It’s unclear why the kid said that a babysitter was there if they were being watched by the grandmother.

On saying she would kill herself: she was pregnant, hormonal
Nadya was played the call during a taped interview with RadarOnline. She said that she was pregnant at the time – of course – and was “hormonal.” She said “If I were not pregnant, I know I would not react like that.” She said “I’ve never had suicidal ideations” and claimed not to remember saying she would kill herself. Suleman looked a little shocked at first to hear that the tape was out, but then quickly acted like it wasn’t a big deal, saying “if it’s public, it’s public. I’m not going to apologize for it.”

It wasn’t the first time Suleman called 911 to report a missing child, according to US Weekly, which reports that she had another incident in which one of her daughters went missing. Cops were called to Suleman’s home a total of 8 times in the past years for various reasons.

Shopping birth video for $1 million
Yesterday the news came out that Suleman was trying to sell the video of her birth of the octuplets for a whopping $1 million. She still maintains that a reality show would be “exploitation,” but her children’s birth will be available to the public forever if she sells it to the highest bidder. She has also posed for multiple photo shoots with her older children and the octuplets.

god this woman is such a trashy FREAK! who the hell wants to watch her birthing a litter? and the cops coming 8 times? and her not remembering her kid went on a walk with the nanny and she is going to kill herself? come on! i dont think pregnant hormonal women are in the habit of calling the cops and threatening suicide. this woman has some sort of psychosis, obviously. her smug duck lip cheek implant nose job face makes me sick.

  2. HEB says:

This woman is obsessed with being pregnant, she’d prefer to be pregnant all the time, if she hadn’t had octuplets she’d probably find a way to get pregnant again, as many times as possible–thats a lot of time during her existing childrens lives to be “hormonal”

  3. Wif says:

Wow, that call just breaks my heart. Hearing that little boy say “Mommy, mommy what’s wrong?” Kids shouldn’t have to parent their parents over nothing. I didn’t hear the bit about a nanny though, did I miss it, or is that information from somewhere else?

  4. sissoucat says:

Come on, I would have shouted that too if one of my kids had gone missing for one hour.

Nobody wants to live after the death or the disappearance of a child. Alas, some have to..

  5. J-Lin says:

    I’m sick of this broad.

  6. Bellatrix says:

I have no pity for Suleman and consider she has some serious mental problem with her pregnancy addiction.

But I think this call is made from her cellphone and that she is running around in the neighbourhood (at least around her house) asking everybody to help her and when she screams “Where’s my son?”, she’s probably addressing people on the street.

I don’t take her side for her multiple births. On the contrary. Yet, this call is just a desperate mother trying to find her son.
I’ve seen my mother in tears and screaming when I got lost and she finally found me again. Maternal instinct can make you react like that.

  7. AT says:

Strange.. her asking “where’s my son?” reminds me of a clip of Angelina Jolie in Changeling…

  8. Lesley says:

I know the panicked feeling of not being able to find your child in those moments that they are missing…but to seriously lose all composure in front of your other children and talk about how you are going to kill yourself is ridiculous. That poor baby listening to her talk.

I really dislike Nadya, but to be honest, my daughter once called 911. It was so embarrassing. She was about 18 months old and picked up the phone and pressed a bunch of buttons. I took it away and unplugged it joking the around that if she did it again she was going to call the bomb squad. Imagine my horror when 2 cruisers showed up because they had a 911 call, and dispatch upon calling back found the line “unresponsive”. Thank God the policemen were amused, and kind, but I was horrified.

If one of my children went missing I think I would have a nervous breakdown. That is absolutely horrifying. Truly. I don’t know if I would have said the things she did, especially with my other little ones there, but I don’t know, and I pray to God I never find out.

Ughm no edit. * joking around*

  11. YoMomma says:

I listened to the tape (or rather part of it). She was hysterical – not in a funny way. She is crazy and should not be raising children at least without a stable influence (husband, significant other, grandparent, etc) in her / their lives.

  12. Sara says:

Awww….she was just doing her best Angelina impression. Maybe she was given the script for “Changeling”?

  13. the original kate says:

i don’t understand how/why/who releases all these 911 calls…aren’t they supposed to be private or used in court or something? i didn’t listen to it, in any case. i don’t need a 911 call to tell me this woman is out of her tree.

  14. mE says:

What the F is this lady doing with a nanny? And this was even before the octuplets!

This woman clearly has serious problems. She should be worrying about getting proper housing and care for her children instead of sitting for photo shoots. Actually she should have been worried about that when she had 1 child. Let alone 14.

Having said that, how is it fair that she actually looks pretty good considering for having delivered 8 babies a little over a month ago. You coudln’t pay me to see her naked though. I’ll bet her stomach looks like about 50 lbs of chicken skin after being stretched out like that. I am all too familiar with postpartum belly.

  15. Michele says:

Good lord, this woman really is completely f’ing nuts. Someone take her kids away before she pulls an Andrea Yates.

  16. Rreedy says:

I am sick of hearing about this lunatic and her breeding methods. SHe is a parasite and the worst kind of human being.

  17. Alecto says:

Preggers or not she doesn’t seem to be able to handle stress well. Ticking time bomb.

  18. morgs says:

I thought that the child had gone for a walk with grandma. That’s what I read.

I think she knew the child was with grandma but wanted more attention and would get it by having the cops come to the house.

oh, and good luck on keeping track of 14 teenagers you stupid selfish twat.
