I binged watched The Leftover over the weekend over a month ago, and boy do I feel so utterly disappointed. It was absolute SH!T!!!!!
Hahahaha…I loved Leftovers, but it took me about three,four shows to actually start liking it.
It’s slowwwwww in the beginning, so it is a bit boring at first…it got better in the later episodes.
What surprised me is what a good actor Justin Theroux is , he is soooo much a better actor than JennAnnst is an actress. I can see Justin being cast in films, not as leading man but a supporting player. He is quite a good actor and I’m not a fan of his at all, but the guy can act.
The only person I can come up for the blind item is Meryl Streep only because professional is how I would describe her and it sort of hints that it is an older actress. She has been a long term, successful marriage as well. If its Julia Roberts, I am going to be so bored.

I took it as Tilda Swinton….possibly hooking up with Tom Hiddleston? The fact that TS has an open marriage isn’t new, but I thought the hookup rumor would be.
But Tilda is not married and she’s never been. There were rumors she was married to the father of her children but she denied it repeatedly. She is in a long term relationship with much younger artist, Sandro Kopp, but the blind says the actress in question has a solid but open marriage. And that the lover is her contemporary, who is newly single and played her husband, so not Tom.

That blind I believe is Julienne Moore. Well liked, pro on the set and keeps her personal life locked down. There have never been any rumors of problems with her and her husband.

I think the BI is supposed to be Meryl. A long time ago, one of the autobiographies by one of the old-time, big behind the scenes Hollywood people (I wish I remembered the name) casually dropped that Meryl was sleeping with a co-star in one of his films and there was a bit of a fuss but it was squashed in the news pretty quickly. It was so bizarre and random that I sort of bought it.

Natalie Portman for the BI. I’m pretty sure all the clues fit (the c0-stars are from movies she’s filmed but aren’t out yet) and the constant mentioning of professional fits too. Lainey BI’s are meant to be figured out, there’s always one over the top clue, hence the professional.

I have to imagine it’s only our cultural norms that require that BI to be, well, blind. It sounds like whatever she and her husband have set up is working just fine for everyone involved.
This is a 26 year woman/girl with a problem, lots of them. She first got humiliated by CB when he publically and loudly posted a tirade online where he chose Rihanna over her. She promised and promoted a clothing line that failed. She hosted a red carpet and failed. She hosted a BET talk show and shaded Blue Ivey and failed. She is bad luck all around and should focus on something more on her own level, not that of her boyfriends.
