On Saturday, Kim posted some cute photos of her daughter, North West. North has teeth! Of course she does. In one photo (above), Kim refers to Nori as her “snuggle bear.” In another photo (the closeup, below), Kim wrote “I don’t know if she’s annoyed with my million daily kisses or my alien face.” Imagine being a small child and having that cat-face coming towards you for kisses. You would be looking frantically for your nanny too. I do wonder about the children of women with too much plastic surgery or “work” to their faces – does it affect the way those children respond to normal faces and normal facial expressions? Do the children cry the first time they see someone with a natural frown line?
In other Nori West news, Kanye included a minor detail about his daughter in his cameo rap on Big Sean’s “Blessings.” Kanye rapped: “Just did a couple laps in my home pool/And my daughter over there getting homeschooled/I’m blessed.” OH GOD. Are they going to homeschool poor Nori? Just like those Jenner girls were “homeschooled”? I think that’s a mistake. Put her in preschool and then regular school. Give this kid a fighting chance, you guys. Maybe we shouldn’t freak out though – there’s a chance Kanye just needed something that rhymed with “pool.”

Exactly my thought. One couple looks sweet and naturally in love with one another. The other couple looks miserably bored and in love with themselves.

I’m pretty certain they’ll home school Nori. Regular school is for plebeians.

Josephine the Jenners were home schooled and Khloe. Not the Kardashians.
@denisemich: None of them are educated. Attending a real school is not the same as being educated when you major in shopping, what you look like, and fashion. And given their recent “no school” bent for the younger kids, I somehow doubt that it will matter that Kim and Kourtney actually attended a real school at one point.
It would be a miracle if she got any real education. The Kardashians aren’t exactly Rhode scholars and Kanye is crazy.
Yeah, no Rhodes Scholars in that family…two of them didn’t even finish highschool. Pathetic.
I once dated a Rhodes Scholar…ha, just had to throw that in there.
I dated two Fulbrights (separately, not together!) and a Truman Scholar. I like the smart ones. Do those count?
Poor Nori. My parents weren’t well-educated (my mom dropped out of HS to help feed her family, and my dad had an AA degree from a community college), but they valued education as a means of rising out of poverty and as a path to the ethical life, and they made sure me and my sibs went to college. God bless and keep good parents everywhere. With parents like those, Nori is assured of a life of luxurious ignorance.

Home schooled? What is she, two? Yes, I do realize that much learning can happen before official school age; my gifts to newborns always include books and I give books for every child’s birthday up to adulthood, but reading to a child is not “schooling.” And the best thing that could ever happen for that girl is to attend school away from that home.
Who is homeschooling a 19 month old? Are there curriculums for homeschooling children below school age? I don’t know and hope someone who has experience in homeschooling can answer the question. If they are homeschooling I sure hope they are hiring someone qualified to do homeschooling. They are not home enough to do it themselves (just like the potty training).
I’m sure Kanye made up his own curriculum since he is a super genius.

Yes, there are many preschool curriculums for homeschoolers. Some moms prefer to save money on preschool by teaching numbers, counting and stuff like the days of the week at home. Personally, I rather pay $250/mo for some time to myself!

In that second photo, John Legend looks like he’s the only one who’s relaxed and enjoying himself, Kanye looks like he wants someone to rescue him, and the ladies are trying way too hard, it’s the Waffle House for goodness sake lol.

It might just be a rap lyric.. I doubt Nori is getting homeschooled right now, but I wouldn’t be surprised if they go that route in the future.
Also, North is SO cute. Glad she posted a pic of them smiling abd having fun, especially since people are constanly saying “She looks so uncomfortable with Kim” or “North never smiles around her mother.”

Follow Nori’s eyes in the first photo. I’d bet cash money that Nori is smiling at her nanny off camera, NOT at Kim. Compare Nori’s expression in the second photo (where it looks like alien rat-faced Kim is trying to suck the life force out of the little girl). Ninety-nine per cent of the smiling Nori with Kim pictures are like the first: Nori isn’t actually smiling at her mother.

institutional schooling doesn’t give children a “fighting chance!” and btw, all 2 yr olds are learning at home.
A toddler generally attends pre-school to learn social skills and interaction along with the basics. How can you do this with no other children. Kanye comes from humble beginnings, he should bring his child back to his roots.
It doesn’t matter. At the earliest opportunity North will be turned out to start making money, just as her mother and aunts were.

The “snuggle bear” photo is really cute, and doesn’t look all phony & staged. But then….we come to the second photo. Looks more likes she’s using Nori just to get a shot of herself making that damn kissy face. I guess one out of two isn’t bad.
It will be a miracle if this kid gets to go to a real school and to make friends outside of their family or their small circle of friends. Neither Kim nor Kanye have many book smarts after all, they both just think they know what they don’t know. Kanye just makes it up as he goes. So I guess her education will depend on which parent ends up parenting her. No matter because I still feel sorry for her as she seems to have no bond with either parent.

North’s only hope is that her paternal grandmother soars down from heaven on angel wings and whomps Kanye up side the head, telling him that North is her Grandbaby, and he’d better see to it that she has a decent education. (I’d think that a respected college professor would be truly scandalized by her Grandbaby being edumacated and skooled by the kardashian klan)
Kanye actually is”book smart.” He chose an entertainment career over college. His entire first album (The College Dropout) is dedicated to that choice. Before the extreme OMG Art, his music was relatable and he was well spoken and thought provoking in interviews.
