Here are some photos of Taylor Swift, out and about in NYC yesterday. This happens to often – Taylor tries to do “prim and proper” styling and she ends looking like a grandmother. My first thought was that she was trying to channel Helen Mirren’s subway glamour. Mirren did it better!
So, what’s going on with Swifty these days? She’s preparing for her worldwide tour, but she’s still making some major public appearances. On Sunday, she went to the Saturday Night Live 40th anniversary event, where she was seated next to Sarah Palin, of all people. There was a photo making the rounds where it looked like Swifty was rolling her eyes at Palin, except not really. Even if you crop everything else out of the photo, it’s still pretty clear that Swifty was just looking up at the TV monitor, NOT rolling her eyes – go here to see.
Meanwhile, people are still trying to make Swifty and Hozier happen. I’ll admit it, I’m one of those people. I think Swifty and Hozier would be a magnificent mess together . When Hozier was in Vancouver this week, a fan asked him if he was dating Swifty and he said: “I wish I could say yes, my dear, but we are only good friends.” This corresponds with what a source told Us Weekly last week as well, that Swifty and Hozier’s relationship is “not romantic. She’s just a huge fan! They’ve been friends at least six or seven months. They will always be only friends.” Swifty is still playing the “happily single” card. Which is fine, but what in the world is her next album going to be about?

Really, eye rolling is rude but sometimes you just can’t help it. And this would be one of those times, for me at least.
Mine was more of a harsh, fixated side eye then an eye roll.

Taylor swift is exhausting. Sorry, but everything she does just seems very deliberate. Just going outside to do errands she’s wearing something I’d expect to wear to work.
I saw her last night on the Tonight show, and she came across unlikable and straight up bitchy.
Same girl. I don’t believe anything she does anymore is genuine. I think she’s too caught up in fame. I also wonder what her next album will be about. Maybe another whole album about Harry styles? I mean they did date for TWO WHOLE MONTHS. They were crazy in love, you guys.
Also, can’t stop sniggering about how crazy her face looks in the picture used on the main page.
She was a guest coach on the voice last season along with other more seasoned “veterans” and it didn’t even seem to occur to her to listen and learn. She really thinks because she’s on top right now that she’s their equal. Girl needs some humility. Her features make her appear to be sweet and charming, but she comes off aggressive and defintely wanting the alpha female role in any situation. I don’t find that trait to be particularly attractive.
@Jennifer Justice: That you saw. It appeared to me that they had discussed the coach’s goals and she supported them by providing tips that could help the contestants meet the goals. She knew a bit about the contestants, which would have required a conversation.

Agree. She was looking at the monitor, but I’d be rolling my eyes and sucking my teeth.

Taylor Swift’s open-mouth pose she uses at awards shows. It’s okay to look completely shocked once or twice. After that it looks manufactured.
This young girl has more class (fine with me if she copies Helen Mirren) than that “book smart”, pseudo humanitarian White Gloves woman who wore real Python skin shoes (after Python jacket last year) for the post V day Sushi run.

I actually think Taylor is capable of rolling her eyes at people who would absolutely annoy her and that person would have to be someone Swifty doesn’t even want to deal with, ever. And i’m a Swifty fan. And I just think so…

I really hope hope she and Hozier never become more than friends. He’s so cool and talented, he absolutely doesn’t need THAT in his life.
I completely agree, he does not need a celebrity romantic relationship. I want him to stay authentic and down to earth so that his music stays the same. He needs to meditate alone in the Irish wilderness to make great music! Not bang a mediocre pop star.
Of course, its his life and if he wants to bang Taylor, by all means go for it. As long as his music stays great.
I really wish Swifty HAD rolled her eyes at Palin and in a very obvious – not mistaking it – fashion. If she had, I would buy every single one of her stinkin’ albums for the rest of my life.

Sarah Palin is a tool. Taylor Swift was forced to sit next to someone she couldn’t pretend to be ‘best friends’ with and get anything for it – so, of course, she would roll her eyes. The thing to do would have been to be neutral about it; Taylor doesn’t have the class to just sit there. She doesn’t look cool, she just looks stupid. If you want to put Sarah Palin in her place, don’t give her a leg to stand on.
